Let me first say: I am a BBQ snob. I grew up in Austin, but I now live in California, so anytime I get a chance for Texas BBQ I grab it. We were visiting Texarkana and I needed a BBQ fix. Randy’s is clean and smells like a BBQ joint, so that is a plus. I thought the helpings were good, and the quality of the brisket, sausage(huge deal) and sauce was good too. I biggest problem was there was NOBEER. You can’t have a quality BBQ experience without a beer to wash it down — or at least a Big Red — c’mon guys. Either one of those could have gotten another star from me. Next time I am through town, I’ll research a little better and find a place which serves some Shiner Bock.

Good smoky lean barbecue and large bun with a generous cup of sauce without asking. Ordered beans, but they were not on the bill. When I asked cashier about that, I was told the beans out on the front table were included though we did not hear this when ordering, and then got charged for beans anyway. Seems to be a new place and maybe they are playing with what is included. A decent BBQ place.
