Molasses would move faster than the staff here. I sat in the waiting area for 25 minutes next to a table that emptied when I walked in and did not get cleared until after I was seated(at another table that had been cleared and emptied for 10 minutes). I cane in at 7:25 so it wasn’t like I was slipping in at closing.

Stopped in after a long day of driving. First thing we were told by the waitress«there is no bread». Ordered French onion soup, husband ordered chicken tortilla soup. The soup was colder than a child’s bathwater! The cheese on neither soup melted. Drinks didn’t get refilled, we had to ask for more water. Waitress kind of stayed hidden. Disappointing dinner.

I have been here several times and have always had a pleasant experience. The wait staff is nice and the food is always good. I tried their new Alice springs chicken quesadillas and they were yummy.

met some old friends in Texarkana for the weekend, looking for somewhere to eat, decided on Outback Steakhouse. This visit was my last time. Asked our server if he could take a picture of us. He flat out refused and walked off. Did I mention the server is white and we are black. hmmm, I wonder if this had something to do with it. I’m almost sure it played a part. Wow just wow.

The items are overpriced. I order a steak. The meat was of mediocre quality and was served medium-medium/well when I ordered medium/rare.

Tony and Mark at the bar were fantastic despite being super busy. Great food, well managed, and significantly cleaner than the nearby roadhouse

First visit in a long time. Never again. Aside from the fact that the food was bland and mediocre(third-rate, at best), the décor is «strip center acoustical ceiling tile» and the service was… well, let’s be charitable and say«indifferent…» putting all that aside, I was over-charged by a dollar compared to what was on the menu. When I complained, the manager came over(after 20 minutes — who makes an upset customer wait that long?) and said«there’s nothing I can do, it’s all done by corporate.» «There’s nothing I can do» is not good customer service, and I don’t accept that. If you’re not in charge of your store, then you’re not really a manager, Missy. Needless to say, I’ll never darken the door of an Outback again. I hope they enjoy the extra dollar.

For some reason, the tap beer and the bottle beer wasn’t very cold. Chris«waiter in the bar area» did a great job”.

If I go back again I will take my kitchen scale. There is no way my prime rib was 12-ounces. I’d say six-ounces.

The service at the bar is inattentive, but they do make up for it by being slow. I had a filet and broccoli, hard to screw up. Overall, it was fine if not great.

What’s gone so wrong with the food at this place? Since 2013 the food has been par. Draft beer choices are lacking. No miller lite on draft in Texas? Bshhhh, the manager is a MOron.

What a cluster f*ck! This place needs to get its sh*t together. I worked at outback(in Houston) for 4 yrs while in college. If my service had been as slow as this places, I would have been fired!

Wife and I eat here often when in Texarkana for movie and/or shopping.(We’re from out of town.) Main attraction? Easy to go low carb here. Most recent visit(Friday, October 18, 2013) was a bit disappointing. We asked for a booth and were led past three or four empty booths to one in the back, near the restrooms(«Blokes» and«Sheilas») and next to a server station. Consequently, we had to listen to server banter throughout out meal. We had a long wait before a server appeared to take our order. During the meal, a man and young woman seated themselves at the booth across from us and embarked on a long, somewhat loud conversation. We finally realized the man was a restaurant manager interviewing the woman for employment, not hitting on her. Surely there was somewhere else they could have done that. After we ordered our second glass of 14 Hands Cab, our server returned to inform us that our first glass was the last of their supply. How can you run out of a common wine that’s printed on the corporate-wide menu? Nonetheless, the food lived up to our high expectations. The bleu cheese pecan salad(while not entirely kosher for low-carbers) is really delectable. The Victoria’s filet was fork-tender and cooked exactly to our request of doneness, and the side dish was truly delicious. Food, not service, earned the three-star rating.

For starters we go with the bloomin’ onion, then if they have it, the potato soup is the bomb diggity! I usually follow with a ribeye with classic seasoning and the wife has the ribs, both entrees are exceptionally good. I would recommend this steakhouse to my others.

I know this is a chain restuarant… but, some are better then other’s even i their same company name. This one, me thinks not… screaming kids, spilling things all over the floor. The food was«as expected» saturated in butter. The service was great, I don’t want to take anything away from the wait staff… but the place was just not welcoming or comfortable to eat at. One of the group even had to leave the table because the smell of the food, the noise and the mess made him queezy… ick.
