Long wait but fast friendly service once we sat down. Worth the wait.

This is my favorite breakfast spot in the area! The food is always great and never had an issue with the service. It can get really busy on weekends so the wait might be a little long for a table. Their fresh squeeze orange juice is where it’s at! Also their waffles are always crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Vic’s is fantastic. The service has that home charm — we loved it. Tracy was extremely sweet with the right amount of sass. The wait for our table went quickly. The place is smaller than it looks, but the staff are dedicated to clearing out tables fast for the next customer. Being that they call themselves a waffle house, their waffles definitely deliver. I don’t normally eat waffles, but I really enjoyed my multigrain one. It was delicious without any toppings whatsoever. There were 4 of us with special requests on each order, but everything came out as we wanted. The menu is huge with lots of tasty options as well as some great specials. The cinnamon roll waffle you won’t want to miss if they’re offering. We’ll definitely be back.

The trick is that when you come here to always try for the counter. It means a minimal wait and much better attention from the staff.(With such a compact and busy restaurant having to wait for a spot and busy servers are both expected.) I’ve been coming here ever since I was a young kid and the food is still every bit as amazing as I remember it(I was 2 years old he first time I came here for breakfast.) The quality of food is outstanding-don’t be scared by the hustle and bustle of the place!

This is my absolute favorite diner in MA. The food here is incredible. It is run by the nicest people. I had called in a party of 8 on a Sunday morning. They didn’t even blink an eye. They said we were all set. I called back two more times to add more people to the party. Well once we got to Vicks I had 15 people. The place was completely packed and had about 20+ people waiting to sit down. They never once rolled their eyes or ran around with there heads cut off. I did not once feel like a burden. We had an amazing breakfast and wonderful service. The staff work as a team to make sure we were taken care of(including the owners). This is what makes me come back. They handled the situation incredibly and I appreciate it very much. It amazes me how well they deal with such a huge mass of customers on a daily basis. Also make sure you get their freshly squeezed orange juice. Life changing.

Waitress’are awesome, I actually use to rave about how good this place was but recently the food has been ok, the bacon is so crispy is just dissolves in your mouth, there is nothing to chew. The prices have gone up also $ 35.00 for 2 adults and a child to child to eat is ridiculous. All we got was 1 egg, hash browns, 2 pieces of bacon, toast, a waffle with strawberries and an omelet with a side of hash a coffee and O.J. Won’t be going back anytime soon, time to find a new place.

Been to this restaurant exactly once. The reasons are many but focus on the high priced breakfast dishes and the fact that the restaurant didn’t take credit cards. Talk about a surprise. Taking family out for a Sunday Breakfast usually suggests that one can use a AMEX or a MC/Visa to pay for it. Not at Vic’s Waffle House. Don’t go — the food there doesn’t justify the ‘hassle factor” that goes with having to pay cash for everything. FORGETIT.

The place was packed on Marathon Monday, but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. The hostesses were welcoming and attentive. The menu lists at least a dozen waffles, including the specials posted, as well as other breakfast favorites. The food came out pretty quick. Started with fresh OJ and coffee with a side of biscuits and gravy, which were so-so. The gravy was a flour-thickened spicy country gravy with sausage. I don’t know if the biscuits were homemade but they reminded me of Pillsbury rolls. Not really what I was expecting, but not bad. The main event for me was the waffles. We had a waffle dulche de leche and a health nut waffle. Both were fluffy, generously topped, and definitely delicious. I will absolutely come back.

Local favorite, expect to wait a LONG time on the weekends, people spilling outside. Last few years we have made it a point to go on the off hours — 6am on a school vacation day. As the other Unilocalers have noted, great service — they bust their butt all day and good food(substitutions allowed — yeay !!!)

I’m so happy I made it here! I was searching for good places in/near Tewksbury where my grandparents live. Vic’s has great reviews, cheap food, and I love going out for breakfast! We went on a Friday morning at 10 with no wait, but it looked like we got the only free table at the moment. Food– very good! I loved my breakfast sandwich. I also loved that the cups/bowls of fruit have better fruit than usual: banana, cantaloupe, strawberries, kiwi I didn’t love my hash browns, I added salt and they were better but I thought they lacked flavor. Everyone else enjoyed their omelettes and eggs! Staff– awesome, everyone was bustling around, but still super friendly. Mary was our waitress and she was so sweet and helpful! I can imagine weekends are super busy. But I can’t wait to go back to this place! One minor negative– it was a little chilly and we kept our coats on like some other customers

Enough parking. There’s a long walkway before going into the restaurant itself that allows people that might need to wait for a seat to not wait in the harsh cold. They have a counter/bar and also tables to seat at and plenty of those so big parties are welcomed. Extensive menu and pretty affordable. We had one of those combination plates each and they were more than enough. I had the vegetable omelet w/egg whites and it was kind of bland but again, it was egg whites and spinach with tomatoes. What else can you ask for? My boyfriend did had a large plate that came with French toast. I got my hands on those and they were delicious. The orange juice was freshly squeeze which is amazing and you don’t get it in diners very often. Great breakfast for 2 people for just $ 30!!! Yes! I’ll take it and most definitely will be back for sure.

A wonderful little local diner with delicious food. Located in Tewksbury, it takes a bit to find the diner as it’s on a side road. It’s obvious this is a local favorite for people in surrounding towns. All of the staples with eggs, potatoes, pancakes, etc. They’re all done well and in large portions. With refillable coffee, it makes for a great breakfast. As a southerner, I can’t recommend their biscuits, however everything else was on point! The staff was so friendly. The guy serving us was so funny and took time to make jokes even though he was obviously hustling. The wait got quite long, at one point I heard the waitress estimating 45 minutes. But the wait is so worth it. We sat at the bar which cut our wait in half. They have free coffee in the entryway to ease the wait a tad. Much appreciated!

What a great breakfast venue! Whenever I’m in Boston this is where I come for breakfast. The Elvis waffle is so yummy; the peanut butter, bacon, and bananas are such a great combo on a waffle. The main attraction I believe is the fresh squeezed orange juice. The freshness of the orange juice really does compliment the waffles here very well.

I was back east and a friend insisted that I go with him to this restaurant. He kept raving about how awesome everything was. I was underwhelmed after his huge buildup. There was nothing that really blew me away. The steak tips were good, the eggs were good, the toast was good, the hashbrowns, what there were of them, were ok. Honestly, we could have gone to the local Denny’s and had food of the same quality. I will give props to our waitress, she rocked! I wish I’d gotten her name so I could give her proper credit.

I hadn’t been here in years and was so excited to see its still around! A typical, dirty, greasy spoon with the most delicious waffles and breakfast you could want. I’ve been trying to convince hubby to come back for weeks and it’s just a wee further than other joints we do for brunch. A definite must again before the baby is born and then hopefully a family ritual. I can’t believe this place is still around! Also the waitstaff is awesome. So funny, very efficient and a great attitude all around. Yum-o!

Every time my husband and I would try to go to Vic’s, we’d leave and go somewhere else due to the long wait time. I was extremely hungover and my sister in law suggested we went there for breakfast. We arrived Sunday morning at 9:45AM and the wait was already 40 minutes. The wait wasn’t too bad because there was free coffee available and the waiting area was covered to shelter us from the cold weather. (For the future, I now know that if there are only two us, we can sit at the counter for a quicker wait time.) Service was speedy and efficient. The freshly squeeze OJ was delicious. It was cool to see the machine running and the employees handling the machine. Food was great and prices were even better. The breakfast club was massive with 3 kinds of breakfast meat and was ONLY $ 6.99. I got a hot dog and fries for $ 3.50 along with a cup of chili. 8 of us has breakfast with coffee and juice for $ 99.00. We will definitely be back.
