This restaurant is a gem! I come here at least twice a month on Sundays so that I can enjoy the all-you-can eat sushi. The waiters are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend the California Sunrise Maki, Spicy Scallop Roll, Red Sox Roll, and the lobster puffs. The food is incredible, so you could order anything on the menu and still be delighted. The all-you-can-eat is about $ 23 a person, which is cheaper than other all-you-can eat sushi places. For the quality of food you receive, it is an excellent price. I also had the hibachi a few times, and it was delicious, filling, and entertaining. They also have a bar and they will deliver(make sure to visit their website for coupons!) Unfortunately, there are very minor flaws. I wish the all-you-can-eat was offered seven days a week, but it is only offered on Sundays. The staff mixes up orders sometimes. Even if there is only one table, they can confuse an order. Once in a blue moon, they would run out of an item, but it is very rare. The waiters could be a little bit more attentive to their customers as well. I should never run out of water while I am eating, but I do.

I got a sushi combo order to pick up. My order was very timely, ready for me to take out when I got there. The sushi was fine, and that’s about the best I can say about it. The seaweed was a bit more chewy than I’m used to, and they must be saving money on rice because there was not much to be found on the rolls I ordered. Part of my order included a salmon and avocado roll, and the avocado was very mushy. Appropriate for guacamole, but not so much for my sushi. The salad I received with it was nothing more than some shredded Iceberg lettuce with a slice of floppy tomato. Not that I was expecting too much, but it wasn’t that appetizing. I’ve had better sushi elsewhere in town, and I’ll probably skip this place next time.

Food is consistently good and delivery fast. I’ve been very happy with the delivery service here. Dining in I do notice that the service does leave some room for improvement. I come in only for lunch and the place is pretty much empty, so I’m not entirely sure as to why it’s been an issue.

Good food, excellent choices. Took a long time to have our order taken, but it was prepared well and had great flavor.

I’m usually very skeptical about hibachi but this place was awesome! Cook was super friendly and funny. The large portion sizes are enough to split for two people, or you can just take it home for the next day’s lunch! We will definitely be back.

Average food, good prices and good service. I got the shrimp bento box. Miso soup was good. Side salad was fine. Shrimp were tasty but overcooked. Seeweed salad was good. Fried dumplings appeared microwaved. Fried rice and California roll both had been sitting around a while. Daughter got General Gaos chicken and lomein. She liked both. Portions were large with lots of leftovers.

One of the better takeout spots for Chinese and Japanese in the Tewksbury area. They have an online ordering system and some coupons available through their website.

This was one of the first places we tried when we moved to Tewksbury 4 years ago. We didn’t know any other sushi place in the area and decided to order take out. We weren’t disappointed! The sushi and the Chinese menu is delicious! We usually order Good time Maki, spicy tuna, crazy Maki, spicy salmon and General Gao’s chicken.. They are all good! If you eat in order a scorpion bowl, so delicious! The people that work there are always friendly and most of the time they remember our names :) not a lot of restaurants know their frequent customers.

We went here recently with some friends, as we were in the area watching their son’s hockey game. We walked in and waited only about 10 minutes for a hibachi table for 9 adults and 1 high chair. The waitress was very nice(all the female staff was super friendly and adorable with my toddler son), although wouldn’t make substitutions on the meals(I wanted something other than the shrimp appetizer), but that tends to be the case at hibachi restaurants. As always, the show was fun and you get a TON of food for your money. Was it the best meal I’ve ever had? No. But it was good and perfect for what we all wanted. I was extremely stuffed and thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Prices are good. Food was ‘eh’. Warm saki was the worst I’ve ever had. Legit tasted like hot rubbing alcohol. Wasn’t too busy on the tables side for a Friday night. Rice had WAY too much egg. But I’m gonna give them another try.

My wife and I are frequent flyers here. We have gotten the hibachi a number of times and have been happy, although the steak is way better than the chicken. Also the sushi here is fantastic, very fresh and flavorful. Definitely worth checking this okay out… Good drinks too ;).

Love this place. Great food, great and friendly service — a true community place. I’ve gotten delivery from them a few times as well, and every time they seem to come unusually fast, and the food is delicious. They’re the only Chinese place I’ll order delivery from these days. Personal favorites are: 1) Salt and Pepper Pork dish. 2) Pan fried noodles. 3) Scallion pancakes. 4) Valentine Roll

I ordered a hibachi shrimp dish that came with soup. At the bottom of the bowl was a cockroach or bug.

Have gotten take out and dine from here. Everyone is always super friendly and I love the food. Their California Sunrise Maki is probably my favorite thing on the menu as well as the Banana Cow drink. I haven’t ordered sushi in a while. Will definitely be back soon!

Food was good, chef was fun, other services was fair. Had sashimi appetizer, small pieces. Would return, but no strong attraction. Located in an isolated shopping plaza.

Great food! Good sushi as well as American Chinese food. Tried sesame chicken, fried rice, egg drop soup and sushi. All were great. Fantastic service. Quick and efficient. When we asked to take our leftovers, the waitress put our food in containers in front of us. She was extremely professional throughout the meal. Price wasn’t too bad either, it’s on the low side of the $$. They have specials that can keep it cheap. Haven’t tried the hibachi, but imagine it is great.

Until recently, I’ve really only ever come here for the Hibachi grill entertainment… but I’ve become a fan of sushi recently, and it does seem really good sushi is hard to find… until NOW! I can’t even remember all the rolls we ordered, but let me tell you that there wasn’t one I didn’t care for… and very few remaining for leftovers(which I did enjoy the next day for lunch at work). One of my dinner companions ordered a Scorpion bowl(the other one had teeth extracted, so he wasn’t drinking alcohol), and I ordered the Angel’s Kiss(see photos). As usual, Kyoto doesn’t skimp on the alcohol. The bowl was oversized for one and pretty potent. My Angel’s Kiss was just what I was hoping for: something sweetish, with juices and coconut… I could have had several, but I was driving! The sushi was delicious and fresh and the presentation on the boat was a visual work of art(see photos). We went late on a Sunday evening and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. They even changed one of the TV channels for us so we could watch the 8PM football game.

I have nothing to say about the food, because I never tried it, and I never plan to. We came here on New Year’s Eve, with a reservation for 7pm for hibachi. We ended up waiting 45 minutes and left without sitting down. I have nothing good to say about the service, and it was apparent that they don’t know what a reservation means. We were told several times that ‘our table is being cleaned off’ when it was apparent that there were no people getting ready to leave and no tables being cleaned off. When we asked about the wait, they informed us of a ‘listing system’, whereby there are two lists, one with reservations(«reservations») and the other with people that just walk in. If you have a reservation, it is meaningless, because if a seat is open and they have people in queue, they get seated. In other words, we would’ve had to show up at 6pm for a 7pm reservation. Management at this place clearly was disorganized, and this review needs to be read and taken seriously. A business run like this does not deserve to be in operation. I award them no points, and may god have mercy on them. PS. The woman’s bathroom apparently has a curtain for a stall door — so if you like to pee behind curtains you’re in luck! PPS. We went to Top Garden instead to get food, and they took us in short notice and got us our order in 20 minutes. They were right next door. Kyoto could learn a thing or two from them.
