Sometimes you walk into a restaurant and pick up the vibe that the workers don’t give a damn. The workers made plans to go to a bar later with loitering friends while people were waiting in line. When we ordered the lady asked us if we wanted a chicken vegetable soup and we said yes. Not only were there no vegetables in it, there was no chicken! It was bacon! Overall this is a two star restaurant. Barely.

Super disappointed. Almost everything seemed to be made from white flour. White bread, white pizza dough, white tortillas, white cookies, white muffins. Nothing particularly healthy or interesting. One sandwich took a long time(not a busy day at all). They serve everything in to go containers with plastic cutlery — Surprising for an Eco-hotel. I was here a few years ago and they had a much more extensive and healthy menu.

Great coffee and pastries. Easy & quick. Service very good, too. Only feedback after eating the buffet 3 mornings is to use extra burners to keep food hot on table. It was always lukewarm. The buffet food was good but it would be great if bacon, sausage, French toast, eggs & hash were hot. It’s a little spendy… as is everything in JH!

Not the worst. Not the best. This place serves breakfast and lunch, but the items are small and the menu is limited. Every time I eat here, I leave hungry. It’s too expensive($ 20 for breakfast) to eat here – especially when you order at the counter and serve yourself

Nice little coffee shop that has rolls and muffins, but they also do a breakfast buffet. We went there because the Unilocal post showed a single $. Great an expensive breakfast… wrong. The buffet is $ 15, not outrageous but not your $ 7-$ 8 breakfast I expecting. The food was mediocre at best. Buffet eggs, the sausage was pretty good, they say they make it, the pancakes were awful. I didn’t think you could mess up a pancake but they have. They were cold, overcooked, tough, and flat didn’t taste good, even with butter and syrup. They had a french toast that was more like a bread pudding, tasty but very heavy. They also had a few cereals and the standard fruit selection. We definately wouldn’t go back for anything other than a coffee.

Cinnamon roll French toast was fantastic! Wish we were staying another day so we could come back again for breakfast!

I would love to rate this place on their service, or lack there of. Called from my room to find how late breakfast. The employee told me till 11:30. I got there at 11:10, and was turned away till 12pm because hey were too busy cleaning the kitchen and getting ready for lunch. Too busy to serve one customer breakfast??? Try being there by 10:30 at the latest. I won’t be coming back.

We came for breakfast and weren’t disappointed. The morning glory muffin tasted like carrot cake and was so moist, the burritos(their claim to fame) were phenomenal, and my herbivore crêpe was perfectly balanced. Pricey, but quick and healthy. Bonus points for having soy milk next to the cream at the coffee bar instead of making it cost extra!

We stayed at the Hotel Terra and enjoyed breakfast here each morning. The kids menu has a lot of carb loaded options — French toast, pancakes, etc…, which doesn’t fly with our protein loving boys. The first morning they tried the French toast — 2 slices of white or wheat bread, served with fresh strawberries and maple syrup. They also tried the breakfast burrito with bacon — one is definitely large enough for two kids to share. The breakfast bagel sandwich also a hit for kids who like the savory over the sweet.

Typically I find the cafes in hotels to be very poor. The Terra café was a pleasant surprise. Very good breakfast… maybe a little too fancy? Sometimes I just want something basic… and they don’t really have«simple.» Either way… everything they had was great from the banana crepes to the breakfast burritos. Everything was delicious. The chocolate croissants were fresh /flakey. You can tell they use fresh high quality ingredients. the only thing they could do better is keep the napkins /silver ware stocked better. They were constantly running out.

Let me start by saying I am a guest of the hotel and had breakfast there this morning. I returned for lunch as I was doing some work from the room and ordered a macaroni and cheese and a cup of tomato soup to go. The gentleman at the table next to the counter had ordered it and it looked yummy! After a reasonable wait the counter person offered me a 6 oz container and a 4 oz container. Replying to the puzzled look on my fast he explained that the 6 oz container was the macaroni and cheese and the 4 oz container was the soup. Had I not already seen the mac and the soup at the table next to me I probably wouldn’t have questioned it but the mac I saw was in a large bowl and was at least ten ounces(and overflowing) and the soup was in a larger coffee mug and served with crackers. I don’t mind paying for something as long as I am getting the same thing as the person next to me. To get literally half really irked me. I ended up telling him I would eat there instead and watched him go back to the kitchen to add enough to make the portion fit in its proper servings. When he served me I was not given a fork, just a spoon and was told the forks were at the self serve counter. Really? Bottom line, I am sorry you don’t have the right size to go containers, or you chose the wrong one, or you ran out of the wrong one. Use two of the small if you have to. There should be a perceived value across the board. Not based on the customer and whether or not they are eating there or to go.

I’ve got to second Carolyn’s recommendation. The breakfast burrito is exceptional(albeit a monster of a meal). My girl and I shared it and were full well past lunch. Bonus points for having Sriracha at the ready! No need to dine at the fancy lodging locations for considerably overpriced eggs, pastries and the like. Terra Café is an excellent second opinion for breakfast and. or lunch.

Nice place for a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. Their egg and bacon bagel sandwich is superb as was their cinnamon rolls. Oatmeal was delightful. Coffee was very Starbucks like. Prices are a bit on the high side but not out of the ordinary for the teton village area. Would definitely go again.

Great breakfast spot. Smoothies, french toast, huckleberry crepes are all the reason to wake up and watch the paragliders land of the front lawn. Get the croissant-buttery, flakey, and just a hint of sugar. Lunch is decent but nothing to write home about.

I dragged my unwilling(and hungover) travel buddies here for a post-wedding breakfast. They have signs up all over boasting the best breakfast burrito in town and I can attest, it is all true. The chorizo-based one is fantastic, albeit impossible to finish. And my veggie friend int he group loved her burriot wrappy thing as well. The big jug of water in back was also a huge hit with my breakfast troupe. We ordered and sat outside and had the best breakfast in Teton Village.

Terra Café is in the ground level floor of the Terra Hotel in Teton Village, WY. The food was way over priced and only half decent. I had a breakfast crêpe, which was chewy and the filling was not warmed up all the way. They only fill their coffee cups up about 4⁄5 full, and then see fit to charge $ 4.50 for a 16oz. They consistently got my order wrong. I had the bagel w/and egg breakfast plate. Asked for the egg on the side, and cream cheese with the bagel. It took them 30 mins to bring out the food, then took them 3 tries to get it correct. Communication between the cashier and the wait staff clearly needs improvement. Over all, if you can find somewhere else to have breakfast, go there. This was convenient but nothing more.

Terra Café is located in Hotel Terra. We discovered this place as part of our ski package — hotel+ski+breakfast. Terra Café serves up fantastic options for a healthy start to your day on the mountain: organic ingredients and healthy alternatives. Diverse selection of cold juices and beverages, along with loose hot tea, the«nutty Irishman» and other coffee and hot chocolate beverages… along with fantastic wraps, bagel sandwiches, waffles, crepes and other breakfast options. Conveniently set downstairs, most patrons show up in ski clothes, or casual attire before heading upstairs to gear up for the day. Take out is available, along with a standard café setting, as well as a small lounge area. Every breakfast has been delicious, and full of good carbs and proteins to sustain for the next few hours while shredding fresh powder. Service has been fantastic, and prices extremely reasonable. Expect $ 6-$ 9 for a generous portion. Even if I were not staying at Hotel Terra, I’d make a point to swing by for a fantastic start to the day!
