Great customer service, my son orders fries and didn’t like them so the manager brought out Mac n cheese for free. Food was very good, good quality.

We ordered«to go» 3 Round-up sandwich yesterday, cost $ 5.29 each.(tasted good) But if you’re hungry you have to buy two of them for $ 10.58. They are the smallest barbecue sandwich I’ve ever seen for the price :(

This place does a great job worth brisket! I added an extra slice of Texas toast and made a great sandwich. The bbq sauce is also great but not even needed. The sides are good too. What’s not to like big portions of good food at good prices! Try the sweet tea, I normally go with unsweetened tea and add my own sweetener but they do a great job on the tea! I be back when I pass through.

A 15 minute wait in the drive thru is insane. I ended up having to go in(9+ months pregnant or this normally wouldn’t be a huge issue). I informed the guy that I had been waiting in the drive through for 15 minutes, he seemed shocked. She came around with my food at that time, which I took and walked away. Whoever the male staff member was called me back, I walk back and he says«Sorry Ma’am» and continues to stare at me blankly. Um? Okay. And?

This is becoming a regular stop for us when passing through the area and now easy to find with new Buc-ees nearby. Love the many sides to choose from. Meat and sauce are good with comparable prices to other BBQ places. Clean bathrooms are a plus too. Would recommend to anyone wanting true Texas BBQ experience.

The pulled pork was really good and the sauce tasty. The sides were average previously frozen choices. Be sure you look them all over because once you choose your sides, there’s no changing your mind!

We had the chopped beef and pulled pork sandwiches with chip and drink, they were good but over priced for what you get. will try again with sides.

Good BBQ. People should rate the food not their political views about a news program on tv. Please, you’re in God’s country. We love God, our families, our guns, and BBQ. We love our great state of Texas. Keep moving John Y., you liberal punk. This place is great to bring your family to eat. And guess what, they play country music too.

Eek. I stopped here on my way to Shreveport. Is there such a thing as fast food barbeque? I think not. I’d recommend to keep on driving. You grab a tray cafeteria style and order your meat. I got brisket and pulled pork. You then scoop yourself one scoop of vegetable from the pen warning tables. You’ll probably have to shew away the flies. I should have just left after looking at the setup, but I was up for an adventure. The pulled pork isn’t pulled. It’s like a pork chop that the tried to dice up. There’s not any type of vinegar sauce for it. Just the dark molasses BBQ sauce for the brisket. Brisket was tough and tasteless. You then get to sit down amongst the tvs blasting Fox News. Perhaps you can sit next to a Rick Perry picture. Maybe that’s your thing. If you were to mash-up a Granny’s and Dickie’s, you’d get this place. I didn’t enjoy any part of it.

We got there about 8:20 pm. There were 4 of us. We got our food from very nice servers(the meat man has mad carving skills). By the time we finished stuffing our faces it was 9:45. They closed at 9. Not one single person tried to hurry us up. The food was outstanding. I may possibly still be full from Friday night’s meal.

Absolutely awesome. Never ever had a problem with the food or service. They make the fries when you order them; they’re not sitting out all day. Their sides are awesome. I crave their spicy corn and mashed potatoes. Their fries are good, au gratin potatoes are good, baked potatoes are good, okra, and potato salad are good. We’re always beyond satisfied here.

The food at Soulman’s was good. The staff was very nice. I told them I had never been there before so they were more than happy to tell me how it worked. I’m from San Antonio so the setup was a lil confusing to me. They serve you the meats than you self serve the sides. A lil bizarre but nice atmosphere.

I live near Royse City so that is usually where I go for a BBQ sandwich, but tonight I was in Terrell and got a chopped beef sandwich and fries. Terrell’s sandwich and fries is much better than Royse City. The fries in Royse City seem to be frozen from a bag. The fries I got in Terrell tonight seem to be fresh cut. Much better. I loved it. I even called them to let them know.

36 years I have eaten at Soulman’s BBQ. Decent prices and a true smoke flavor. Ate here 3 times this week and everything was great. Skin on fries is a favorite, cooked fresh to order. I only had one slightly dry meal but I eat burnt ends on my brisket and that is okay.

Totally in love, during my adventure of cross country road tripping to Orlando from Las Vegas. When we arrived in Texas I had two things on my mind, BBQ and Angus steak and woo wee I got it. Food: 5⁄5 I’ve had a lot of BBQ in my day but by far real Texas BBQ beats out everywhere. They do it right here in Dallas, Texas. I ordered the beef with two sides, my boyfriend ordered the chicken, ribs, and the beef with 2 sides and oh did they have sides. They honestly had over 10 sides to pick from baked beans, corn on the cob, to mashed potatoes. OMG I couldn’t get enough I was totally loving it. The BBQ was so delicious, they cut it fresh for you right in front of you and they ask even how you like it, medium? medium rare? Serving size was HUGE definitely felt like Texas home cooking. Service: 3⁄5 Service could’ve been a tad better but I can’t expect world class service from a hole in the wall BBQ spot on the side of the free way but it was adequate for my dining pleasures. Atmosphere: 4⁄5 Very Texas inside, definitely. I felt like I was in a wood cabin restaurant that was decorative with bull horns and Texas Stars everywhere. The décor definitely reflected on Dallas Texas best. Price: 1⁄5 For me and my boyfriend we ordered a combination of 1 meat with 2 sides, and 3 meats and 2 sides and 1 large drink to share totally up to about $ 33. OUCH definitely a pinch in our wallets. I guess I was expecting a lessor price because it was a side of the freeway kind of spot. Yet I couldn’t complain this was pretty decent quality meat. Suggestions: — For travelers looking for the Dallas Texas BBQ experience, this is a good spot to go to — If your watching what your spending I suggest order 1 meal because portions are huge! Honestly my meal that was 1 meat and 2 sides could’ve feed me and my boyfriend. We definitely had left overs enough for dinner and breakfast the next day. — Order the Sweet Tea! its super delicious and part of the Southern experience Safe Travels my fellow Unilocalers!

We drove in from the airport and none of us had eaten lunch. My co workers and I had no idea where to eat, but I saw a billboard for Soulmans BBQ — they have several locations and recently opened in Terrell. Being a Monday evening there were several tables of people eating in — which we all felt was a good. I ordered the 3 meat combo with sides of mac and cheese and pinto beans. The meats are served dry with warm sauce on the side. The brisket was my favorite BC it was so tender, sausage was spicy and flavor full and my ribs were also delish. The only negative item was I thought the meats were missing a smoked flavor which I prefer on my BBQ meats. The sides were also tasty and my dinner came out to only $ 15.14 See my combo:
My 4 lady co workers ordered a Super Chuck family style dinner for 4 and they could not finish all of the food. All of them enjoyed the food here also. I would definitely return here or another Soulmans BBQ location.
