This place does take credit cards. There wasn’t even an inkling that it doesn’t take credit cards.
I have been looking for a set of offset wrenches for the last couple weeks. I was in the area volunteering for Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity and drove by the location. I’m always in the mood for a deal and stopped in this place just to look around.
Lo and behold, there, in the case, was a set of Snap-​on Offset wrenches. What?! They had just been put out on the 11^th (that day was the 17^th). I asked what’s the best they could do and the guy said he couldn’t go any lower because they had just come out and he knew because he was the one who put them out. The date did confirm what he was saying. I asked if he’d even do the price out the door and he tried to confirm with his boss. No dice. I did walk out with a set of wrenches, new in box for 35% of Snap-on’s retail price. That’s pretty good.
I’m only giving them 3 stars because they wouldn’t haggle with me. That’s part of the fun. Also, I would have preferred that they hadn’t opened the packaging, but they did tell me that they had to make sure that the wrenches were the ones that were supposed to be in there, so I understand why, but you’d think they could just look through the packaging.
All in all, not bad.
