This was a nice Little quiet place. Pretty clean room just, wish it had a pull out couch with a table instead of bunk beds in the front area. I don’t know what the other cabins are set up like. priced right. Owners where nice. Plenty of towls and micro wave and fridge available. We would stay again.

The RV park is a Great location, just horrible maintenance, restrooms, bathhouse go hours UNCLEANED! Disgustingly filthy! I’m not sure how they rate a Sam Club approval. F for facilities, you have to pay to bathe, what’s with that? No upkeep for the facilities, ridiculous!

Very well kept, reasonably challenging golf course. We play out here at least a few rounds each year and except for peak summer rates and crowds, we always enjoy it. It is very walkable — most of the elevation changes are pretty gradual — and the scenery is very Central Oregon. There are a couple of opportunities to cut over the canyon and save some distance if you’re brave or accurate and the 7th hole is locally known as ‘the shortest Par 5 in Oregon’. The score card says it’s a Par 3 but you are shooting at a small, crowned, elevated green.

The Crooked River Ranch Cabins is where we stayed. They have a website. Check it out. These cabins are a really quiet BEAUTIFUL place to stay! The 1 room cabins are adorable and the view out off the porch is stunning. A great place to stay for relaxation or a romantic weekend. I spent my anniversary weekend here and it was wonderful. The cabins are located on a very quiet, peaceful drive in the AWESOME Crooked River Ranch area. You can see the rim right from the cabins. We had several big deer walk right past the cabins and you can see people playing golf. The cabins are not 4 star accommodations but they are clean and simple, what more can you ask for at a $ 80(with tax) price?! We typically like little cabins to stay in as they are more private and quirky, which is fun. You can park your car right next to your cabin so no walking up flights of stairs and NOBODY banging on the wall next to you. We were in the furthest cabin, #4 so the Wifi didn’t work so great but we didn’t care. We were not there to sit on the internet, we were there to enjoy the scenery and have a romantic weekend away from city life. The hard part is leaving this magnificent country when you have to check out.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a golf fanatic. You know how some people go to parties«for the food»? Well, I play golf for the beer and for the cigars. And also because my boyfriend is an avid and MAD-talented golfer. So what you are going to read here is a non-golfer’s review of a golf course. What’s pretty, what’s not, and any other random thoughts that come to mind. If you want a technical evaluation of a golf course, including whether the tee boxes are level(apparently that’s important)… this is NOT the review for you. I suggest you read the other reviews here(if there are any) or go buy one of those fancy-schmancy golf magazines. K? K! Golf is cheap here, and the course seems to be well-run. The starters are friendly and there are a good number of marshals on the course to keep things moving along. Yeup, CRR is pretty proud of their golf course! This is one of the shorter courses in the area, and that makes me happy. One of the holes is a long shot over a canyon, so bring plenty of extra balls… ya know. Oh… and don’t forget the goats have the right of way!
