I’ve been here a few times over the past few months and it’s a pretty solid average buffet. The standout item for me is the spring rolls. They usually(but not always) taste fresh with very pronounced flavors. Also, they have a large selection of sushi that is usually pretty good considering sushi is supposed to be eaten immediately after it is made. I like that they have Japanese items that you won’t find in other buffets in the area, like miso soup. Also, the dinner buffet has quite a bit of seafood on it. Sometimes there is food that has been sitting out for a while, but no more than any other buffet, and I always see them out replacing items while I’m there. There is sometimes evidence on the buffet of shortcuts being taken with the food prep, but nothing egregious. On the fruit bar you may see grapes with the stems still attached or melons with big chunks of rhind still on them. The baked clams are sometimes gritty. Service is usually excellent — they keep your table clear and your drinks full. However, beware that if you go in during lunch hours and the buffet switches over to dinner they will charge you the dinner price, even if you don’t eat the dinner buffet items. For this reason I won’t be back.

The best Asian buffet I’ve had in a long time! The fact that it’s Japanese and not Chinese means that they have some interesting additions, including tempura veggies — zucchini and sweet potato(YUM!). The sushi was very good. Lunch is $ 7.99 and dinner is $ 12.99($ 12.99 all day Sunday). We went for lunch, so the hibachi station wasn’t open unfortunately. I will definitely be back! Also, for everyone worried that these are the same owners as the last place(that was known for closing and reopening under a new name), it’s not the same people. My relative works for their landlord and has confirmed they are completely new owners!

I was amazed for the first time. But several weeks after, the fish there seems not fresh anymore.

A little hard to find if you’re looking for it but I stopped here for lunch on the way through. I am quite impressed by the sushi bar as well as the hibachi bar and buffet. I will definitely be here again!

New to the area and ran across Hokkaido on my search for eating Establishments in Terre Haute. What a surprise. Great food and service. For a buffet they had all of my favorites, fresh and hot. I know I will have to come back to try everything. That is what happens when you have been deprived of favorites. Coming from Vermont, good oriental food was hard to find. So consider this Post #1 of many. Dish out.

Tried to inform the waiter/busboy and cashier of a hair found in some of my boyfriend’s food. They both disregarded my comment…

The place is clean and serves a great variety of food. However, nothing tastes good. Even the cookies are tasteless. Definitely, not going back. If you do not care about taste, you might like it.

All the cold nasty garbage that the city was accustomed too from the last asain buffet that served maggot infested food to its patrons at this location. Its no different and its no better, probably the same people running, I mean ruining it as previously. Avoid if you want something descent to eat.

Best beffet I have ever been to. It was $ 12.00 for dinner. Everything I had was fresh and well prepared. I have eaten at many beffts from coast to coast and I would have to say this is my favorite of all time. It rivals even expensive Vegas beffet with its gormet touch on the offerings. Well done!!!
