Gamestop

Right out of the gate, I want to throw out my main complaint about Gamestop. You will generally pay more here for things than you will somewhere else. If you want to take the time, you can scour the web and save some bucks, especially on hardware.
However, I think that sometimes the experience is worth a little extra. Here, that little extra gets you three different consoles where you can test new games, a huge selection of used titles, and a friendly staff. I have yet to be greeted with anything less that a smile and a «can I help you».
There is a rewards program available that gets you discounts and free entries into drawings. Once in a awhile you can catch a buy two get one free on used games. I have also heard that you can order used items from the website and pick them up at the stores.
This is one of those places that it pays to know the system and be patient enough to work it to your advantage.
