Thank you, Shorthorn’s, for hosting our Terra Alta Nerium Real Results Party! I was initially confused by the restaurant because of it’s outward appearance-one would at first think that it was an old abandoned shop-After All, that is the majority of Terra Alta… isn’t it? But come inside and it’s actually quite a neat eatery with a rustic, country feel… it was nice and warm as well, which was much appreciated. A few pizzas were ordered for our group by one member-a pepperoni and a «Hot Rod.» The pizzas were delicious with a blistered crust, thanks to the wood-fired oven. The Hot Rod pizza was delicious and had a bit of a kick! My mother and I enjoyed some pizza, but also ordered a Garden Salad and Fries. The fries here are like very thick potato chips and absolutely delicious! Dip them in blue cheese, their homemade ranch, or ketchup! The only disappointment was the fact that they didn’t have any dessert(other than vanilla ice cream) to offer-boo! I was looking forward to trying their Tuxedo Bombe that was listed on the menu. Shorthorn’s is exactly what the(very) small and slightly empty town of Terra Alta needs-good food and entertainment!

The staff was indifferent and they forced out a fake smile, but she was completely clueless on most everything. It was like she just did not care enough. As a group of 7 we went in & it is seat yourself, so the staff left us to move the tables around ourselves. We ordered a pizza, it was not bad, but a large was a medium size elsewhere. When I asked for crushed red pepper the server was like I don’t know if we have it. Mean time it sits on most tables. The lasagna special was over cooked and flavorless, the mac & cheese came out cold now onto the burger where we discovered a piece of metal about 2 inches long and half an inch thick cooked INTO the burger. The staff once again was indifferent about it and nobody knew what the metal came from or how it got into a cooked burger. No apology, we clearly were not going to pay for the burger and it was not till the very end where they said,“we took the burger off the bill” no kidding that was the very least they could do, and they did the least! Pass on this mediocre place where the staff makes you feel like you are a bother

Came for Monday Night Football, kitchen closed an hour before the game, customers were drunk and unruly(before 9), only 3 beers on tap and the rest in grocery store coolers. Staff was ok, but a bit rude and couldn’t care less about what we wanted. I wouldn’t waste your time or money

This place uses an Italian wood fired pizza oven and the pizzas are huge! Good sandwiches and original food. Free homemade pork rinds if you check in on Facebook.
