We honestly found this place on accident. We were on our way to the Hearst Castle and saw a sign that said free honey tasting. Family owned business that has been there for years. The out door bathroom was extremely clean and quaint I had to take a picture. The homemade jams are delicious. Definitely a place I would go back to around Halloween to enjoy the pumpkin patch

A little gem that we found on Route 46. We had passed by this on the way to Cambria from Paso Robles. A small unassuming sign shows the honey tasting that is offered. Once you pull over, you park in front in the dirt lot. Inside, you will enter a small country store. There are so many varieties of different honeys offered inside. Definitely try the honey tasting if you like honey! I tried a eucalyptus honey that was different from anything I’ve had before. It is really fascinating how different honeys can taste depending on the flowers the bees are visiting. Aside from the honey tasting, sometimes apple cider and apple cider slushies are offered. All the staff were really friendly and informative during our visit. They told us the farm has been owned by the same family for years. In fact, the gal doing the honey tasting for us was either the granddaughter or great-granddaughter of the original man who started the farm! I read they offer U pick apples during the fall season. Would love to come back!

My husband and I were driving to Monterey when we saw a sign for«honey tasting». Being the honey aficionado I am, I told him to pull into where the sign will lead us. It lead us to Jack Creek Farms, which is actually a real farm that sells what they grow and they make wonderful goodies! I walked into the store, which was quite busy, and was greeted by friendly sisters. The authentic real clover honey I tasted is delicious, I bought the biggest jar for $ 15. I got to the register and also bought the homemade chutney. I could’ve walked out spending a zillion dollars on everything(because they also offer honey/bee themed lotions, lavender items, candles, etc.) It’s a delightful stop. Buy their honey, it’s so delicious.

Wonderful experience. The owner was very nice. Got to sample a few of their fudge flavors and ended up buying two because I couldn’t decide. Only wish they had produce and other food options.

What a cute little find! We were staying in Paso on a wine tour and were looking for something to do in the mornings before the wineries opened. We stumbled across their website and decided to give it a try. We couldn’t be happier! An adorable old-time-y feel to the place, complete with old farm equipment and a façade that looks like it belongs on the set of a western. The store is a bit small, so I imagine that in the touristy months, it can get crowded(we were there in January and it was cold & rainy). The owner was funny, charming and very helpful. We did some honey tastings, and she explained why each one had a different flavor to it. We purchased some soap and some honey and were only sorry that weren’t there in the spring when I imagine they have some terrific produce! It looked like a great places for kids –a miniature wooden train and several outdoorsy activities.

This place is a great place to bring your kids for seasonal activities. For pumpkin picking it’s more pumpkin choosing than picking. Pumpkins are already picked and grouped for you so if you want to trudge through a field this isn’t the place. But it’s super kid friendly and affordable, you don’t have to pay extra for corn maze or to see animals. There are tire tunnels, wooden train kids can explore, tiny houses for them to check out, even a smaller«fence» maze for the younger kids. If you get hungry with all these activities they sell fresh wraps, apple slushies, gelato and have a little gift store.

Cute and fun for kids. Corn maze, fence maze. Feed goats. Bunnies chickens. Sun activities for kids. Most tastes apple and berry cider slush ice. Prices are a bit high for the pumpkins. Still a fun place to go to.

I am so glad we stopped here! Kid-friendly little farm with goats, rabbits and chickens. They let us feed the goats some grass and the staff was very friendly! We stopped in for honey and balsamic tasting — yum! If you are road tripping with your kids, stop here! They can run around and play on hay, a wooden train and little playhouses.

I was at a nearby winery and decided to check this place out. It’s a nice little store to pick up lunch(pre-made sandwiches) or a cold beverage(unique sodas and homemade cider) or a treat. The exterior is deceiving — behind the large old-time façade is a small country store. But the exterior is fun for photo-taking and there are a few seats and a picnic table if you want to relax and eat lunch outdoors. In addition to what I already stated they also sell kitchen knickknacks, candies. chocolates and — their specialty — honey. They have a variety of different types of honey and offer tastings. Certain produce and pumpkins are sold when they are in season. I ended up purchasing a lime soda and some individual chocolates(chocolate caramel and chocolate raspberry) which were far too pricey but really good.

This little diamond in the hills of wine country is a breath of fresh air. A great break to take in between your wine tasting! Family run by the most charming little family you’ll ever meet! I walked in when the owner was hosting a honey tasting and she immediately let me join in! Needless to say I had to buy a few jars of the most amazing Honey I’ve ever tasted! The shop oozes country and I have to bet a lot of people don’t walk out of their door without something! Seasonally they offer crisp fresh sliced apples with thick rich caramel drizzled over each one! I have to admit that I had to try their homemade fudge. I have been known to make a prize winning batch myself, but don’t think anything beats their creamy mouth watering recipe! I have heard that their pumpkin patch is a «must» along with their seasonal fruit picking! They are very kid friendly with many photo opps for a memory making experience! A Central Coast STOP you won’t want to miss!

I’m all about Jack Creek Farms, especially right before Halloween when all the heirloom pumpkins and gourds are on full display. Jack Creek is a feast for the eyes as well as an actual, well, stomach. They have fresh pies – both full size and handpies – made daily, apple butter, apple cider, and extremely delicious apple cider slushies with no added sugar! They’ve also got Leo Leo gelato, taffies, and other local artisan goods. Don’t miss the goats out back, the lovely apple orchard, and certainly don’t skimp on the slushy! Although they have a bevy of heirloom pumpkins and specialty squashes, this is a great place to take the kids to pick up their yearly jack-o-lanterns. All the carving pumpkins I saw were fairy-tale perfect. It’s a special place! I’ll be back for some honey and cider!

My bf and I were wine tasting in the area, and happened to stumble upon this cute little family owned honey shop. The only honey we ever bought was from Safeway, and were pleasantly surprised when we came here! This shop has many varieties of honey. Some are for dessert, breakfast, baking, etc. They are all slightly different. How can you tell? From their awesome honey tasting, which is free! So you can sample 5 of their honeys… so wonderful. When you buy the honey, they’re priced about $ 12/bottle, which is around 12oz, and beautifully packaged in a glass container with ribbon and their logo. The service here is so friendly. They really made us feel welcome as customers! The cool thing is since they’re family run, they all take turns running the cash register, going out to the honeycombs, the farm, etc. Tips: 1) Credit cards accepted! 2) Online store coming soon *__*

As you are speeding down Hwy 46, between the coast and Templeton/Paso Robles area, look towards the north for this roadside attraction and fruit stand. Also, look out for the Highway Patrol. This is one major speed trap on the 46. It is easy for the CHP to make their quota and ruin your perfect day. You will see a cute kiddie-attractive façade of buildings that look like a little western cowboy town. There were a family of kittens stealing the show outside, bouncing in and out of the decorations and flowers. Inside is a fun, cutsie gift shop, some fresh local fruits and veggies, fudge, homebaked pies, apple cider, jams, and honey. You can find all kinds of cute kitchen wares, aprons and kitchen towels. They will happily share tastes of their honeys, vinegars, fruit slushies. Their vinegars are unique. A blackberry balsamic and a extraordinary spiced vinegar came home with us and are simply delicious. It looks like they have a «pick your own» farm. We saw a family coming back down a dusty road with a basket of whatever was in season. And a small corral with animals to pet and things for kids to climb for that picture perfect moment. They have seasonal events/attractions for the whole family. Bathrooms consist of a couple of portables out back. Clean and odor free. Plenty of parking.
