I purchased a new boiler from these guys in the fall of 2013. It worked that first winter. By January 2015, it barely worked at all. I paid Walbert over $ 2000 for several visits to try to fix it.(Their warrantee only lasted 1 year.) I’ve had 3 other companies come to look at it, all of whom said the installation looked terrible. Now I’m told I need a new boiler. Apparently, this one(recommended and installed by Walbert) is poor quality to begin with, plus the terrible installation. Making things worse, Walbert’s customer service is bad. Everyone I dealt with was extremely rude, from the woman who answers the phone to the servicemen who came by. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and go with Snell.

Walbert installed a water heater and replaced our forced air furnace in July 2014. Before the installation, I had in mind to get a Payne furnace, and the exact model is coincidentally the model the Walbert estimator«suggested». However I had a strange experience with Walbert. When I attempted to get additional information on some other Payne models, the estimator told me Payne didn’t offer those for sale in the Clinton MD area. I called Payne and they denied this. My guess is Walbert must have gotten stuck with a unit of the Payne furnace they were pushing. After researching Payne and other furnaces on my own, I ultimately decided to buy the model they were pushing and I’m sold on the furnace and the service Walbert provided
