I have dined here on several occasions, even before the upgraded interior. But, my two recent visits were strikingly similar in a negative way. With so many employees hovering around the bar, the service and attention from the wait staff is horrendously slow. I’m usually a patient guy, but the wait staff pushes you to the limit where you have to get up out of your seat to go search for your order status. Albeit, you will get a smiling staffer. This post should be about the quality of the food, but the lack of timely service affects the satisfaction with the food. My advice is to be as responsive as the efforts to be cool and trendy.

My guy who lives in the neighbor just discovered this place January 2016. After a horrible appetizer from Red Lobster, he suggested that we stop by this place since we had a limited amount of time. It is not a fancy looking place and kind of reminds me of some casual clubs down south, not a lot of ambiance. But doesn’t need it. The food choices we had were amazing delicious. I thought the shrimp and crab flatbread was as good as I am have in the past, and regretted not ordering one for the road. My guy is a big fan of chicken tenders. And I have to say that this is place takes care of its customers with drinks. I also like that it is black owned, and any chance I can get to support places in my community that is providing great products and service, I do. I will plan to stop through to do carryout when I am in the neighborhood. What I had told me that I do want to try more items on the menu.

Great food; flavor is too on point. Catfish nuggets are a MUST. They are just amazing and will keep me coming back forever. Cocktails are great as well, Don Julio infusion sort of margarita looking? Very well done!

I went during lunch and received my food on time. The hosts was very polite and knew the menu back and forth. I asked about the pizza and she gave me her favorites. I told her that I am a seafood lover, she immediately suggested the Crab and Shrimp pizza. I ordered it and I must say… ITWASDELICIOUS. I say WAS because I ate it all in 1 setting… LOL

What a nice find! Visited for the first time with my husband and brother-in-law, based on BIL’s recommendation. Happened to be Karaōke night(Thursday). Love the atmosphere, loose vibe, casual-cool scene. My kind of spot. The food was great! Love the cream of crab soup, the catfish nuggets, and chicken and waffles. Hubby had the burger and loved it. He said you could tell it was hand-made and not one of those frozen patties. He enjoyed it. Whoever makes the sweet tea knows just how to make it sweet enough without making it too sweet. We will be back!

The flatbread pizza is worth me driving halfway around the Beltway to dine here. Oh and let’s not forget the old bay/honey old bay wings are off da chain! Karaōke is really good on Thursdays… Paint Nite on Tuesdays… its always a good time at Infuse!

OK, here we go… The BF found this place using google search for restaurants nearby. I have lived in this area a long time and I had never heard of Infuse. We checked out the menu online and the food looked appetizing so I said lets try it. If you are not looking for it you won’t know its there, tucked in the corner on Allentown Road across from Aldi. There was plenty of parking and well lite parking lot. We walked in and the décor is a little dark but its a bar/lounge so don’t expect too much in the way of appearances. The entry way is small and there is a short bar area on the left as you walk in. Good use of space for the seating area and plenty of TVs for those who may go here to watch sports. We went on a Saturday night, there was a small crowd there so it was intimate being our first time here. The waitress was very friendly and I asked her what good to eat. She took the time and went down the menu, saying everything was good and names a few choice items to try. I had the Thai red curry chicken and the BF had the steak with mac n cheese and steamed broccoli. Both meals were surprisingly very good. Kudos to the chief who made the mac n cheese, which was much like the way I make mine. The owner came over and welcomed us saying they are going into there 3rd year. Also during the week, there are paint parties and karaōke. I am not much on going out during the work week, but I may venture here for a take out meal when I don’t feel like cooking mac n cheese.

Absolutely amazing food selection! Went with a party of 9 and had good service. Good was a little slow to come out but that’s because it is all homemade, fresh. Our waitress made up for the wait by keeping our drinks filled and up to date on what was going on. The wings are awesome, big, and juicy. Flatbread buffalo chicken pizza was amazing, not too spicy. Crab soup was delicious with big chunks of crab. The cheezy Mac was homemade and über cheesy! The big breakfast was insanely huge and filling. The pancakes are to die for, especially the pancakes filled with bacon!

My new favorite spot. A local, round the way place for a drink and delicious food. I haven’t been for happy hour yet, but in 3 visits so far, I think I can write a review. Most food options are solid(i can’t try everything!), Soul food is done right with some extras… Crab and shrimp pizza, salmon, macaroni and cheese, catfish nuggets, sauteed spinach. I’m pleased! The atmosphere is laid back, a juke box plays the latest rap and hip hop, r&b. The cost is reasonable, there is booth and table seating, the bar space is small. I’ve seen a senior’s card club assemble here, I’ve seen the young and mid 30’s assemble and talk, I’ve had the manager come out and greet our table, parking is available, friendly and personable wait staff. I’m definitely a fan.

Went here for a party, and notice this was the local hangout. You had security talking 2 the girls outside the bar. Whole conversation was about sleeping with people. Once inside, I was bewildered to see how small this place was. There was a card game going on. Women in motorcycle gear talking extremely loud. The one poor waitress was running around by herself trying to get everybody orders. Not sure why this place was picked, but I know will definitely not be coming back here. Total waste of my gas

I’m a regular here. The bartenders know me by name and what I drink. The service is good, not too much traffic for lunch but the bar gets pretty tight for happy hour. The menu items are nice and they have lunch specials and happy hour specials every day. They accomodate you pretty well. Came in after my birthday and they gave me a cupcake and a drink on the house. Love this place. Definitely recommend.

Loved this place when it was Yannys but that place is no more :( I went here twice for brunch, both times on a Sunday. We were not greeted when entering. There was only one waitress. She was busy at the bar chatting it up with whoever. I’m sure my food was just sitting waiting to be delivered. Food was not hot. The waitress was not attentive had to yell excuse me multiple times to get her attention for a refill. Gave it 2 tries same experience so Im done.

I’ve been here twice now. It’s a small divey-type place where dive bar meets grown and sexy, if that makes any sense. The first time I dropped by on a Saturday evening about 6pm with a good girlfriend of mine. Our intent was to grab some carryout for the husbands, but we sat at a small bar top table and ordered the pineapple infuse shots while we waited. The shot itself tastes like cheap vodka and peach schnapps, but they have tons of chunks of pineapple soaking in the pitcher and serve your shot with pineapple chunks it in. The real kicker is biting into the pineapple after drinking the shot. Woooooo! It burns so good! And for only about $ 5 per shot, it’s a great way to get the party going! I’ve had a few things on the menu: the collard green spring rolls — good concept, just okay though. The chicken wingettes — the honey old bay are just okay. the jerk are not good. the plain fried are pretty good. The catfish nuggets — AMAZING! Mine could have stood to be fried a little harder though. Sauteed spinach — delicious The service — it’s exactly as every other Unilocaler stated: Awful! Very slow, and best of luck getting someone to even acknowledge you. Both times, we had to commandeer a bar table because no one ever addressed me(us) at the door. The place is pretty small, so you either get a seat or you don’t. Now that its reputation is building, it’s getting more difficult to get in and get a seat. When I went that Saturday eve, they were hosting two parties in two parts of the dining area, which I didn’t even see how that was possible as the place is small. One party was a wedding reception(yes, a ghetto wedding reception, but don’t judge) and a 60th birthday party. Then when I went on a Friday night during happy hour, it hadn’t even gotten crowded yet upon my arrival, but the owner himself had to serve me because of the poor service. So, overall, I like the food and concept but the service needs a lot of improvement.

I didn’t intentionally give this place 1 star. If I had it my way there would be a negative rating system. I had a bad experience here in the past but decided to give this place a second chance after a friend recommended it for brunch. Bad decision. You know how professors always tell you to trust your first instinct when taking an exam? Well I should’ve trusted mine and selected another place to go for brunch. It took an hour for waffles, grits and eggs to come. Our food came out separately(a good 15 minutes apart) and the order wasn’t correct or warm(let’s add on another 15 for the correct order to arrive). Sigh… After all of this, the food was mediocre at best. The grits were overly buttered and had an unpleasant aftertaste. If the restaurant were busy I’d cut them some slack for their poor time management but it wasn’t. You could practically hear crickets. No slack given. I guess I can’t be mad since I’ve already had a poor experience here in the past and decided to return. Silly of me to think business practices would improve. I will say the servers were all quite pleasant but that’s the only thing they’ve got right. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Shame, shame, shame.

The service was horrible! We had to wait more than an hour for the food and went to the counter to get our own drinks. The place was definitely not crowded and our waitress still couldn’t keep our stuff straight. The food was edible but definitely not worth the trip. If a happy hour spot is open, go there. We were a larger party but not at all difficult. We just wanted out food and drinks at some point that night. That’s not too much to ask is it? The tip was automatically added to the bill at 20%. I reluctantly paid it. Darn my bleeding heart. I will never return to that place again. I won’t even turn around in that parking lot. Horrible experience!!!

So my mom had been raving about this place for a while. It’s her hide out spot to have meetings with her fellow coaches. She bought a pizza home one day, which was not all that I expected. I did take into consideration that the pizza was made in-house and did not withstand the 15 – 20 minute ride home. It was ok; a bit cold and the bread was not moist. So I was not impressed. Yesterday, we went again for an event she was holding for her girls’ high school basketball team. South Carolina and UConn were playing and she said this was the perfect place to watch. I was excited to try their pizza again. Especially now that it would be fresh and hot. When we arrived, I was really impressed by the venue. On the outside it doesn’t look like much but the inside is a cool enough place for me to hang out. There’s a full bar and enough TVs to watch plenty of games, and Scandal all in one place. The server bought us 2 pitchers; one with lemonade and the other with tea. Both were amazing. My mom ordered the collard green spring rolls. They were also delicious. The pizza was way better than I had before. It had to be because it was hot and fresh out of the oven. The shrimp and crab pizza is to die for! Like literally, pass out upon taking your first bite! To sum it all up, this place is a go to. Date night, girls/guys night out, solo date… just go!

This is an interesting place. It’s located in a strip mall and is pretty unassuming. I was here for a friend’s party, which was my first visit. Initially, I wasn’t sure what I was walking into, because I saw a lot of people hanging out in front of the restaurant … I thought it was a bar with bouncers, until I realized those were just customers, too. As I went inside, I felt a bit cramped because they don’t have a huge waiting area, but the rest of the place is a good size. The décor is simple but nice. There aren’t frills or bells & whistles, but it’s not a dump, either. I can tell from the customers and their interactions that this is likely a place with a lot of regulars and has popularity that comes from word of mouth. They did play the music incredibly loud. It reminded me of a club or bar, especially since the music was what I’d expect to hear in a club, unedited versions and all. It’s not what I’m used to in a place that’s billed as a restaurant, but again, it suited the environment. The food I had was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the spinach dip. There were various types of chicken, and none of them disappointed. I’d definitely be willing to go back to see the rest of the menu and try other foods out. This location is fairly easy to find. It’s right off of Allentown Road near the exit for Rte. 5. However, there is limited parking. If you get there once it’s already crowded, be prepared to circle the lot for a space.
