Automatic zero stars. Who the hell has this place a s a law enforcement company. These ridiculous idiots are so absolutely stupid beyond imagination. if i were any one person on this entire planet that needed any kind of professional law enforcement, you would be dreaming and not only that you would have to be the dumbest individual on the planet to even give the smallest fraction or fractional of thought as to calling these absolutely useless, under smarts ignorant and completely incompetent useless, non important police station i have and will ever come into contact with. Everything in this entire city get burglarized, stolen, theft vandalism, like my car and till this very day has not located anyone that broke my steering column, yet these completely big headed useless annoying policing has the nerve to ask who i am. I am completely dissatisfied i would urge any and every one that can read these words to not even consider for a moment any kind of positive results when it comes to idiots like this who do nothing but annoy people perverts asking the most unimportant questions never ever ever ever around when the crime is being committed. You know why? Because these ridiculous excuse of a l“Law Enforcement” agency spends there time harassing and asking the most unimportant questions about someone thats walking, minding there own damn businesses not even the least bit concerned about the stupid Temple weasels. no government agency should even consider for a moment giving this station any honors. no extra work, no extra money, this place is full of the dumbest annoying, stupid, weasels i have ever seen. Sitting around eating while the crime is being committed and till this day have not located who the hell was trying to steal my car, yet have the nerve to come and ask about me and what im doing legally on someone elses public property. Looking so dumb and clod-​like sitting up in their old stupid looking police car dusty, old rims, dirty engine dirty police dirty individuals. i am going to make absolutely clear and sure on every last possible website that i can think of that the Department of Justice should not give these baphons any honors, any award they deserve the bare minimum when it comes to salary and money, the bottom of the barrel… i would not give this place any kind of extra funding for anything whatsoever. Any government that sees this review and many other that point to the uselessness of this so called Sheriffs Station” who does NOT do their job like finding real criminals that are burglarizing homes instead want to question someone about what they are doing minding their business. Why is it that these complete useless idiots cannot distinguish between a law brewaker, all the cars speeding turning not signaling, u turns all kind of traffic laws yet they sit in that stupid looking car looking stupid themselves like idiot beyond the minds imagination, asking the most absolutely unimportant and useless questions about a person doing nothing but walking, dumb dumber dumbest…

To the snarky Deputy Sheriff at the Union Station Gold Line platform who told me to mind my own business when I asked why it requires SEVEN deputies to loiter around a handcuffed accused scofflaw (black man, of course) while just one of them is questioning him: yeah, I just filed a complaint with your commander. It IS the business of every citizen to complain about police overreaction when we see it. And it IS your responsibility to answer citizen questions about your conduct. Oh, and FUCK YOU, too.

This is the WORST police station on the face of the planet! They need to either shut it down immediately or have every staff retrained! Here’s why:
1) I am a nearby resident and well within the station’s boundaries. Yet, every time I address serious issues to the officers on duty, they either insist it is out of their jurisdiction (which is a lie), or pass the buck to neighboring cities (which those cities transfer me back to Temple City). Only then, a patrol car takes several hours to arrive at the scene.
2) I live adjacent to school where drug deals often occurs at night (loud and disruptive individuals who often leave drug paraphernalia on the street!). Every so often, I’ll call the station and kindly ask for a patrol car to either disrupt the drug deal or intervene. The police station is 3 minutes away from the school. It takes them 4 hours to arrive! Are you kidding me! Children’s lives are at stake and you refuse to do your sworn duty!
3) Once there was a major car accident on the street, right next to my house. 911 is called and the call is transferred to the CHP. It takes them 6 hours to arrive! When is it standard procedure to contact the highway patrol for car accidents occurring on a private, residential street???
4)Patrol cars routinely park at a nearby church, officers are either sleeping or giving out speeding tickets but will not help when there is a serious crime in progress.
5) I was recently a victim of a hit and run within Temple City’s boundaries and jurisdiction. I called the station 3 times, was constantly referred to another station and L.A. Sheriff (does not exist), went in-​person for clarification, was rudely belittled and asked why I wasn’t waiting at the scene of the crime (really? You really want me to park in the middle of the freeway?), and told to go to the scene of the accident, call them back so that chalk lines could be drawn (even though there were no visible tread patterns on the road). 6 HOURS later, we were told the reason that the patrol car was so late was because officers were responding to a homicide. You don’t make excuses to people who were patiently waiting for help, YOU DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO HELP THEM! When a patrolwoman finally came to me, I was then told to come to the station the next day with the damaged car, so it could be assessed and a report could be filed. You wasted my entire day just cause you don’t want to file a report. I had the other driver’s license plate number! You lazy, lazy bums!
6) I kindly asked for a feedback form to make a complaint (to the officer that continuously gave me the run around and made us wait for 6 hours for a patrol car) they refused. What kind of place refuses feedback??? The only forms they have on the table are for inmate visitation. WTH!
7) The detective that finally got in contact with me tried to make me alter my statement as to where the accident occurred just so it would be out of his jurisdiction. He then called the neighboring police station to have a patrolman drive all the way to Temple City.
8) When talking to the officers, many make an attempt to hide their name plate or don’t wear one at all (in fear that they will get reported for negligence).
9) The only people who are doing real work are the inmates at the police station. They can be observed cleaning, sweeping, and moping the building all while the officers are sipping their sodas and playing games on their phones.
My observations are very precise, honest, and not exaggerated. If you don’t believe me, go to the station and ask a hypothetical question regarding what to do if you’re a victim of a hit and run or any question that requires any thinking on their part. I guarantee you’ll get the run-​around and get treated like a child. Also, look around and ask for a feedback form. The officers on duty will scurry off and hide. This station feels as if its a children’s clubhouse where anyone not wearing a badge is turned away.
The very fact that you can’t leave a complaint towards any of the staff or officers is extremely questionable! If you need to go to this station, BEWARE! Your statements will be misconstrued and made invalid just so that the officers won’t have to do any additional paperwork. If you go to this police station, bring a camera and a lawyer.

Couldn’t have been more pleased with the response time, attitude, and helpfulness of Deputies Ayala and Johnson.
Recently, my 86 year-​old mother was a victim of phone fraud. The Deputies patiently explained, in detail, what needed to be done, and what we could expect in the near future. Their information was invaluable and right on. They even called the next day to make sure everything was ok. They certainly went way over and above what could have been expected of them.
During this process, I had the need to call the station several times, and each time, was happily surprised at how friendly and helpful each and every person I spoke to was.
Thank you, Temple Sheriff Department. You guys rock!

Deputy esqueda is the biggest piece of shit ive ever came across along with his rookie bitch partner deputy carlos. Esqueda is just another lil guy behind a badge with lil man syndrome. He aint shit. Theres no meth anywhere buddy so keep looking. Lmao

We called the sheriff around 2:30am to report that a homeless person was sleeping outside our bedroom window & it never happened before. Sheriff came just 10 mins after we made a phone call & he was able to handle the situation well & took the homeless person with him. Thanks for the quick respond.

If I could give a zero star, I would. The sheriffs here are good at only one thing — Fund Raising. For years I had been calling this station to complain a neighbor whose property is right behind us. The neighbor is a drummer and, a couple times each summer, would bring out his full gear and play past midnights. When I called the Temple City station (because my property is within its policing jurisdiction), they always repeated the same thing: We are busy right now and we will send someone there as soon as we can. Last November we just celebrated our 14^th years anniversary in the neighborhood and our neighbor still drummed past midnight. I guess all the sheriffs there had been too busy every night for the past 14 years that they could not spare 5 minutes to do their duty.
On March 28^th, near the corner of Manley Ave. and Valley Blvd. in San Gabriel, a woman was robbed in bright day light at around 8:00 a.m. Interestingly a LA County Sheriff cruiser was about 120 ft away and the sheriff did not intervene. Many witnesses and drive-​by saw the ongoing robberies and honked. Yet the cop just sat in his cruiser and actually drove away. After a couple minutes, the same sheriff returned in the same cruiser. By then the robber (a Hispanic woman) had gotten away. That sheriff did not get off the vehicle at all. By then the San Gabriel Police arrived and the victim (a petite Asian lady) reported the crime and pointed to that LASD sheriff. So SGPD intercepted the sheriff. The cold-​blooded sheriff simply said that he thought it was just a possible hit-​and-​run accident.
Hello? Many witnesses saw and knew it was an ongoing robbery and a well-​trained LASD law-​enforcement officer thought otherwise? SGPD’s Lieutenant Darren Perrine stated that because LASD’s sheriffs are not bounded by San Gabriel City Police Dept., that sheriff was allowed to get away. Up ’til now the identity of this LASD sheriff still remains unknown. Cops helping cops?

Come out a couple days a month to meet quota and write up everyone that passes them. Disappear for 90 percent of the month and provide no help whatsoever. Response time is horrible. Lived right down the street .5 miles away and it took them 3 hrs to show up after I was robbed. Also seem to be doing shady stuff on the side mainly working as bouncers for company bars. A sad waste of tax dollars on a bunch of uneducated, lazy, drunk on power jocks.

I was shopping at Walmart today and spotted a Siberian Husky locked in a car with only one window rolled down an inch or two. The dog was panting so I waited for ten minutes before calling the police. The car was parked in the sun. There was no shade and no water in the car for the animal. They sent out two officers, Dee and Van Genderen. As they pulled up, one of the dog’s owners came outside. Officer Van Genderen dismissed us from the scene so he could talk to the owner, who had a complete attitude. The cop even had to tell the owner to back up and calm down.
As we left the store, we noticed that the dog was STILL in the car! Several people were on the phone with the police, not knowing that I had already called them once before. Once the group had made sure the police were on the way, everyone but an old man, myself and my mom were left. The dog owner was screaming and shouting, threatening to kill the old man and lock him in the trunk. The old man had a thermometer and took the car’s temperature — 111 degrees!
Much chaos ensued and the same two officers eventually came. Van Genderen was a total jerk and yelled at us for ‘still” being there and told us to go home. We explained that we had only called again because the owner was threatening to kill the old man, which is definitely against the law. The officer refused to write anything down or take my complaint seriously. Also, the dispatcher was completely rude and kept asking me if I was a veterinarian because I said the dog was in distress! It’s a dog locked in a hot car. Of course it’s in trouble!
So I walked up to Officer Dee, who was in his car running the owner’s information. He was very polite when I asked him for a card or something with their names on it. He offered to give me a paper with the case number. The other officer ran over and loudly asked what I wanted and was incredibly rude about giving me any information.
It just sucks that I tried to do the right thing and the officer was rude about it!

If you have questions??? Well they sure don’t have answers and to top it off, detectives don’t call you back. Good luck. This agency blows!

As you might not know, interpretive fighting is a surprisingly slow growing form of performance art, so I was rather tickled to find that an impromptu performance had broken out in front of my local motivational beverage establishment. Being an ambassador for the activity, I was quick to join in, even with complete strangers. Imagine my surprise, when several sheriff’s deputies arrived and joined in too! After several more minutes of performance art, the group went their separate ways. My new friends from the county of sheriff’s deputies persuaded me to come stay a while at their friendly neighborhood goodwill depository, and even drove me «limo style» to their pad! Accommodations were lavish, with everything needed for a comfortable stay provided on the house. The styling was a rather minimalist interpretation of neo-​gothic post-​industrialism, and really added to the ambiance. I really appreciated the cultural diversity of the clientele as well, it was like a veritable United Nations in there, and everybody wanted to meet me. Activities were well thought out and planned in advance (it reminded me of Sandals Resort) and the wait staff was very attentive. When it was finally time to go, I was sorry to say goodbye to my new friends, but they were clearly overbooked so I understood. Hopefully I’ll get to see them again soon.
Four stars for atmosphere, five stars for service, five stars for complimentary door-​to-​door concierge service, three stars for showing up so late in the evening. A++, would visit again.
