I was experiencing terrible neck pain. My neck felt SO much better after one massage. Granted, the pain was not completely eliminated. However, the pain was pretty bad, and she significantly diminished the pain and restored some mobility. PROS: (1) The massage was great! The masseuse had strong hands and was able to adjust pressure as I liked. (2) They have a great price point. $ 45 for a 50-minute massage, or $ 24 for 1st time clients. No clubs with contracts and commitments. Just a good price every time, as you need it. (3) You are scheduled for an hour; so you actually get a 50-minute massage.(The extra 10 minutes allows time for undressing and dressing.) (4) Booking online is easy. CONS: (1) The address in Google(and therefore Google Maps) is wrong. Kindred Chiropractic now shares office space with The Community Holistic Health Clinic. Fortunately, I arrived at the old address 30 minutes early, allowing me to get the address of the«new» location(they moved 3 months ago) from the cashier of the new business which was in its place.(Businesses can update their information with Google for free; so, yes, I hold this against the business, not Google.) (2) The receptionist thought I was there for a chiropractic visit with Community Holistic Health Clinic, a completely different doctor. This resulted in my filling pages of unnecessary paperwork, meeting with a chiropractor, realizing they didn’t know why I was there, and then being told the office with whom I booked the appointment wasn’t in the office that day. It turned out that the massage therapist with whom I had the appointment arrived a few minutes later; so I was able to be seen. (3) It’s not a fancy set-up by any means. I probably wouldn’t give this as a gift to my Mom. In fact, you check-in at one building, and then walk outside to a smaller building with the massage rooms. It’s not a big deal in January; but when it’s 120 degrees, I try to go outside as little as possible. ;) BOTTOMLINE: I would go back. Although it’s not a fancy spa, I go to a massage therapist for the massage, not the pretty décor. They delivered a quality massage.

I went into kindred chiro to get a $ 20 massage and regained the ability to feel the sense of touch in a part of my hand that I had lost feeling to due to nerve damage. I’m kicking myself for not being able to remember her name but i’m sure she’s still there. Since my massage, I still have the ability to sense anything that my «affected» fingers touch and plan on going back asap. I’m not the mani/pedi kind of guy, but I definitely appreciate anyone who can massage me better than an old Chinese woman. Cruise by and set your mind, body, and soul at ease.

Dr. Kindred is one of the first chiropractors in Tempe and in my opinion, one of the best. I came to his office several years ago with chronic back pain. He did a thorough exam, including x-rays, and determined that I had scoliosis. It took a while, but now I am standing up straight. I look forward to complete healing and seeing my «after» x-rays. In the past, I have been to chiropractors who just ask me where it hurts and adjust. Dr. Kindred was the first doctor to find the cause of my problems. His office now has two excellent massage therapists, and they offer a program rate well below the usual $ 60 an hour. I encourage you to contact Dr. Kindred if you are serious about healing.
