I have had nothing but problems. Management is rude and slow to remedy situations. I even reached out to Peak Campus, the parent company, in regards to a discussion with Anthony, the holier than thou manager, and have yet to receive a response over a month later. Water was out for 4 days with no courtesy email to residents. I spent those days staying at a friends, so that was an inconvenience to say the least. Parking is limited and Vertex went as far as to refuse my boyfriend parking with no issue of notice to me. I can’t wait for to move out and for the staff to move on.(Only reason this isn’t a one star is because the closet is huge and security is amazing.)

I really don’t have many issues with Vertex. There has been two instances where the water has gone out, and they worked to get it fixed ASAP, plumbing issues isn’t in the control of the staff, those things happen everywhere. More of the problem is with some residents who knock down exit signs and break the walls, that isn’t in the managements control. They fix it. The maintenance guys are cool, and I’ve had no issues with service requests. The place is fully furnished, not the nicest furnishings but I can’t blame them, I mean it’s college living. The appliances are GE and are just fine. There is now a printer and computers set up that anyone can use. I don’t have a car, but have been in the garage and I don’t see any issues. It is only an «accident waiting to happen» because the kids driving in there, not the building. Whenever I see trash left around, it’s always gone within 24 hours. I don’t see how you get mad at the complex staff when kids leave the trash around, it’s not them that is leaving it, it’s the residents. There was one instance where I guess there was a gunshot heard last semester, and ever since there is always security walking around. The bathrooms do have towel racks and behind the door there is also a place to hang towels. The gym is fine, has treadmills and a good amount of machines. Compared to other places like 922 and the Hub, I feel this place stacks up right with those places, especially for being a little cheaper. Everyone has their own room and bathroom, and it is furnished with the basics. I’ve also had no issues with the leasing office staff, everything I’ve ever had a question about or anything hasn’t been an issue. I don’t mind having to use a key fob to get into the complex, and then into my building, I don’t understand why you would complain about security. Sure it could be a little better, but what place couldn’t? It’s close to campus, especially for business students, I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else without a car.

Worst place to live. Fully furnished? That’s a joke. Anthony the manager is a piece of shit, will not answer emails and constantly on vacation. The place is «brand new» however has no hot water, floors leak with water(sewage), and ceilings drip of water. Very cheap appliances. Do not pay this complex any money. Pool and hot tub(hole in the ground) sucks. Worst management you can get. Absolutely discussing. Do not pay these people. Let it rot! Everyone is trying to get out! Worst management team ever, so inexperienced. Absolute dump!!!

Keys given out to other residents, gun shots and rude, indifferent management. Get towed after paying $ 80/month parking. Incredibly unprofessional Property Manager, Anthony. No working printer and good luck with internet. There are way better options.

I had very high hopes for this complex before moving in. It had just finished construction and was to be considered«luxury.» Move-in day came and I was mildly disappointed as the apartment itself was much, much smaller than anticipated for the high-price. The bathrooms dont have medicine cabinets or even a place to store towels. The parking garage is an accident waiting to happen as only one car can safely get around corners yet people seem to think its a race. There is only enough guest parking for about 8 people. The gym is mediocre at best. The rock wall is cool, but the machines are useless as the smith machine doesnt even go down all the way. There was about 3 inches between the bar and my chest thanks to bumpers that cant be removed. The access to the place is a little over the top having to use a key for each transition from the garage, to the complex, to your building, to your apartment, to your bedroom. My disappointment quickly turned to disgust. Within the first week, the entire place was completely trashed. There are beer bottles/cans all over the place and there was even a half-eaten plate of food sitting in the hall for four days. Apparently there is no cleaning crew because the trash keeps building up. A little mess is to be expected in a complex for college kids, but for the price you’re paying it should be much better taken care of. In my experience here so far, the only positive thing I have to say is that its close to campus. Absolutely not worth it.
