Kevin Young was amazing to work with. He gave me HOA advice and helped me with getting a large issue resolved. I wish I could hire him as his service is hard to find in todays work environment! Thanks Kevin!

Apparently there has been some turnover in the last couple of years with the property manager assigned to the community I hold property. I was able to go to the HOA board meeting last week, meet with 3 of the board members and Dawn from Sentry. I am pleased to say we were able to resolve the issue. I was grateful that Dawn was able to go back and find all the supporting documentation to help the board see where the disconnect was. I am hopeful that we are able to keep Dawn, one point of contact that is familiar with our community and can keep things on track moving forward.

We also moved into The Reserve at Fulton Ranch and had a less than stellar involvement with Sentry Management when it came to getting our front yard landscaping approved. After 3 attempts to get approval, Albert in the Reserve sales office had to run a final interference for us to get the necessary approval. My husband also made sure that the feedback Fulton asked regarding our home buying experience included our frustrations with Sentry Mgmt. Reserve folks, while we have the sales office still open, don’t hesitate to talk to Albert or Ed. They can give some good guidance and make some calls. And when we get control of the HOA, first order of business should be get a new HOA mgmt company.

Dealing with Dawn and Taylor has been an absolute nightmare. We have been back and forth with these people for months, just simply trying to get approved so we are able to finish our front yard. They’re very unprofessional and rude over the phone. I am not sure why a beautiful community such as fulton ranch reserve would allow someone like Dwan to be on the phone with home owners but she sucks and will have you asking yourself«what have i got myself into?» I can honestly say, had we been made aware of what a pain in the rear we were in for we would have purchased our house elsewhere. Im not against HOA by anymeans and I actually have a high level of respect for them but the way this lady spoke to my wife earlier has me heated. These people need to realize we dont spend hundreds of thousands on a house to be hassled at the end of it all just to finish a front yard. I have absolutely nothing nice to say about this management team. Anyone looking to purchase a house in fulton reserve, be aware of what your in for after you move in and try to finish your front yard. Ive had 3 different landscape companies pretty much walk away in frustration. I have a number of neighbors in my area who have also been around the world with these people. Every proposal we submit takes 2 weeks to be denied and now that we are at a boiling point we call to get it straightened out and get put on the phone with this miserable lady who in all honesty comes off like shes just trying to f*.* up someones day. This is rediculous and ive never hated paying for something so much in my life. How sad is it to love your house and hate the association? I would hope someone from this company reads this review and reminds the individuals on the phone where that paycheck comes from. You have no problem taking my money and making my life hell so atleast remove the stick from your rear and help assist with my issues instead of being stuck up and impossible. This horrific review is solely based on the experiences shared with your customer service and the people you put on the telephones to represent your company. Thank you and have as miserable of a day as you put me through.

I moved in to my community 2 years ago and for whatever reason the previous owners didn’t take care of the landscaping and the original owners didn’t really have a good layout plan. We have ¼ minus rock which is terrible because you can see bareground and everytime it rains it washes away tons of dirt. Our trees and shrubs are also ugly and basically we need a complete front yard overhaul(I think this is called Hardscape), Well I reviewed all guidelines of our CC&R and the additional Landscape Policy to understand the application process. No one in our guidelines does it say homeowners are required to provide a plan that has«exact location» of each shrub and tree placement. Actually it states which trees and shrubs are allowed, and how many minimum we must have. I rendered drawings and edited real photos to mock up what my new yard will look and submitted to Margaret at Sentry Mgmt ext 55516. She called me a couple of days later and said I am looking at your picture where you drew a couple of trees in and shrubs and the committee is asking what tree is going where and what shrub is going where. I paused and got my handbook out and simply said, «Well I’m not certain right now and I am not sure I need to tell them what is going where because in the handbook it doesn’t say that. Can you tell me where it the policy it says that?» To which she said«I dont have time to tell you where it says this in the policy and I am trying to help, do you want your plans denied or approved.» I was really surprised by this answer and wasn’t expecting this kind of response. I stayed calm and said, «I am only trying to understand why the committee is asking for information that is not required for approval.» She said«they are asking and I am only relaying that question to you.» I said«ok well the committee should know the rules right?» Margaret: Yes they should. Me: Great, then can I speak with them about this to understand. Margaret: No. I am the Liaison and you would speak with me and I would speak to them. I am trying to help you, do you want my help or not?! Me: Oh you are trying to help me? Margaret: Yes. Me: OK, then can you help me understand how they can ask for something if its not stated? Margaret: I WILLTELLTHEMTHATYOUARENOTPROVIDINGANYMOREINFOANDTHISWILLBEDENIED! CLICK!(She hung up on me) WTF! Ive called and left a message with her supervisors assistant and also emailed someone over there. I cannot believe that my hoa dues are going to a place like this to manage our property. We are their customer but she treated me like I’m a POS and its because they think we have no choice. I will handle this person.

Terrible people. Dealt with a Crystal who was rude to say the least. From what we are seeing, HOA rules are sloppily enforced. I have lived in 4 HOAs in my life. This company is by far worst than anything I have seen in the past. When I called to inquire why some basic HOA rules were not being enforced, instead of listening, I was met with rude and ‘defensive’ behavior. I couldn’t believe it. Basically called me a liar stating the HOA does regular drive by’s and would have noticed the violations I was talking about«if they existed». Nice. My neighbor also explained that this very same person seemed to be targeting our other neighbor for every little thing while ignoring everything else. The thing that was obvious, was that the complaints logged against this other neighbor included things that were wrong with several homes on the block including mine. But only the targeted neighbor was getting threatening letters about the issue. Clearly applying the rules unfairly and selectively. I am not sure when this company decided to to treat customer service as if it were optional, but it is clearly something that takes a backseat to their operations. If you google sentry management you will find numerous complaints. Companies like this will hopefully fail in the poor economy. Shame on them.
