I was charged by this gas station $ 10 when they told me that my card was denied. When I asked the lady about it she got very hostile at me. She said she was the manager and there was nobody else I could talk to. This 200 pound lady, who looked very aggressive, started walking towards me is if she was going to push me out the door. She then told me I was on private property and to get the F out. How can an employee be this hostile and aggressive towards a customer who was wrongfully charged. This woman was clearly on drugs and I hope she gets what she deserves.

Stopped by to get cigarettes last night and pulled up in front of the door for my wife to run in real quick on 1÷3÷2016 at about 10:15pm. I was sitting in my car waiting for her to come out and a white truck pulled up now finding out it was (assistant manager Gabby and her boyfriend) park right in the middle of the lot. I then tried to hand signal for them to move to one side or the other so I could move so they could get through. Then her boyfriend got out of the car yelling at me to move and walked up to my vehicle banging on my window. My wife heard him yelling at me and came running out of the store trying to see what was going on.. He then started calling us vulgar names trying to fight my wife and came at me very threatening. At this time my wife had to run up because I was being aggressively approached by the man. I did not know if he had a weapon or something. Chris came out to diffuse the situation and got in the middle of the altercation. We got back in our vehicle and tried to leave. At this time they would not move their vehicle and left the car door open so I could not drive by. I was terrified after this and just wanted to leave! ! The next day I spoke with Kelly (manager) about the situation and she said she would handle it. She called me back a few hours later blaming us for being parked in a red zone.. Which I was not parked, I was in the vehicle and it was running. Then proceeded to tell me he only came at my wife the way he did because he thought she was a man. .because of the way she dresses, (which Im not sure how that makes his violent behavior okay anyway) I asked her for her bosses number or email and she said she would not give me that info. I asked her to have her boss contact me then. Still a no. She then threatened to kick us off the property permanently. I will be contacting corporate and will be contacting a lawyer because this was not ok! We go there all the time and can not believe how this was brushed under the rug. I am very disappointed in the managers that work here. The bottom line is Kelly is defending the employees because they are all friends there. This is the second time I’ve had an issue there with one of the employees and nothing was done. I spend a great deal of money in there between my cigarettes, daily energy drinks for my wife, and I, and filling both our vehicles with gas there. I will not be returning. They have lost a good customer.

Stopped in for gas and coffee was immediately greeted by a friendly lady named Rose. She had just put on fresh coffee and recommend me her personal favorite which was awesome! The Hawaii hazelnut. Gas was cheap and the cashier went the extra mile. I’ll be back for sure!

I just had an awful experience with a guy working at this location. He was incredibly rude and thoughtless. Thought this was a fine gas station until tonight.

Cheapest gas in Tempe, hands down!

I decided a while ago that I was irritated and shocked enough by my precious experience to make a personal visit to the Pride.
The employee has been fired and the station has gone back to its three– or four-​clerk rotation of nice friendly people.
The soft drink fountain still serves drinks that seem under-​carbonated, but maybe this is an equipment issue.
Either way, while this isn’t my first choice for fountain drinks, I am pleased with the other food and drink items, and the people are always good to me.

I’m a pretty big fan of GasBuddy (
or search for «GasBuddy» in your phone’s app store) and this gas station comes up pretty often as some of the cheapest gas in Tempe near ASU. Also, I live on the opposite corner so it’s pretty convenient for me – I can fill up on gas, caffeine, and whatever else I need like Powerade or beer (they have the common corporate beers like Miller/​Bud as well as stuff like Sierra Nevada and Four Peaks). The spray-​n-​wash self car wash is next door, too. The employees at this gas station are pretty friendly and they always chat me up – I like that in a corner shop. Sometimes later at night, the darker corners of the property are kinda sketchy.
Like I mentioned above, the price of gas here is consistently and surprisingly reasonable, although I think there is a limit of how much gas you can buy in one transaction. I say this because one time, I filled up my car and the display read $ 50.00 exactly. I was floored and thought I was some kind of God that used up exactly 50 dollars worth of gas before needing to fill up again. I come back 2 weeks later and the same thing happened, so now I feel pretty dumb.
