Permanent Makeup By Colleen Roseen

I am an artist myself so I was searching for someone who is an artistic/​perfectionist like me. Colleen did an amazing job on my eyeliner. I am going back to get my brows done by her as well because she makes them look so natural by making them look like individual hairs, not that solid blue/​black really fake look.

Colleen is phenomenal! I’ve had 2 different sessions with Colleen for eyebrows, eyeliner (upper and lower), and lips. As a fair skinned person who had no color when I woke up in the morning, I’ve been thrilled with my finished look. It’s given me confidence to leave the house without full traditional make-​up for the first time in my life and my husband and I both love how quickly I can get ready to go out for the day now.
As an artist she knows exactly what color and what shape is best to accentuate your best features. She’s not only the biggest sweetheart, but a true professional dedicated to perfecting your look. Needless to say, I highly recommend Colleen’s services.

When I was a kid, I had a nervous habit of pulling my eyebrows n lashes with my fingers… Suffice it to say, eyebrows n eyelashes dont grow back as easily as the hair on your head! Having to draw in my eyebrows was tedious… So I decided to try permanent makeup… The first artist was not so great… She did not know how to draw at all… So then I went to Colleen in 2007… And I have been going to her ever since… I’ve had one touchup in 2011 and I’m gonna see her again this year 2015… It’s true… She is tough to get a hold of but I swear to u… She is worth it!!! She is super friendly n very talented!!! I would not trust my face with anyone else… Permanent makeup is not something u wanna «shop around» for… Get the best — Colleen! :)

Colleen did my brows over 3 years ago, and she did an amazing job! She gave me a great shape, and was available when I needed a touch-​up.
She truly is an artist, and her work is fabulous. I no longer live in AZ, and sadly, my brows are fading, due to an Obagi treatment I’ve been using on my skin. I’m seriously considering booking a flight from California just to get my brows touched up by her again. That’s how good she is!

As someone who has had my eyebrows done by three different people I feel qualified to say that Colleen is everything one could ever want in a permanent makeup artist.
Colleen is an actual artist (like for real for real artist — if you’re lucky she will show you some of her work. Amazing!), and isn’t that what all of us are looking for? Her eye for symmetry is unparalleled. My eyes are not symmetrical and the two ladies I had do my eyebrows previously did them exactly the way I did them so I looked perplexed. All. The. Time. Just when I had given up hope, I found Colleen’s website. I left a message and she promptly returned my call. She answered every single question I had and we made an appointment for the following weekend.
Colleen’s studio is warm and inviting, just like she is. She listened to my concerns regarding symmetry and color (my previous brows had faded to a nice shade of orange), and then penciled them on in such a way that they looked better than they ever had before. Colleen asked how I felt about the shape being a little different and made sure I was happy before proceeding. While working, Colleen made me feel totally at ease and she was very in tune with my comfort level the whole time.
She corrected my brows at no additional cost and they are perfectly symmetrical. The color actually matches my hair (imagine that!?) and I get complimented on them quite often. I’ve had her touch them up once in almost two years and that was only because the skin products I started using made my eyebrows fade.
I recommend her to any and everyone who asks and, quite frankly, to some who don’t. There is no reason for anyone to have bad eyebrows as long as Colleen is in business. Granted, she is not the cheapest out there but for the quality of work she does I feel she could charge a lot more and it would still be a good value (but don’t, okay Colleen?). Usually you get what you pay for, but in this instance I feel I’ve gotten a whole lot more than my money’s worth.

So I was looking into getting permanent makeup done for my eyebrows. I went over many websites and i was convinced Colleen would do great work just based off her website. She seemed young, artistic, and had great feedback, so i booked an appointment. She responded immediately to schedule an appointment. When I met her, I felt really good on my decision. She was nice, helpful and educated me on the process. She shaped my eyebrows and made sure I approved before she got started. She did shape my eyebrows very well. However, after I paid $ 340, Colleen advised the price included a touch up because the healing will cause gaps from the scabbing. Colleen made it seem like it will be no problem to schedule a touch up. Well, after healing I asked her if I can schedule a touch up because my brows still had a few gaps and she made one longer than the other. She completely ignored me. I texted her a few times and she wouldn’t respond. At the time I was busy with work so I couldn’t go to her shop and I live far from her salon. I gave up trying. I was really disappointed!!! She made a good impression but i guess she only cares about her clients on her first visit. I thought she was this young ambitious person who was trying her best to keep business going but instead it seems like she just takes your money and does a half a** job. Oh well, it was a lesson learned and karma will get back at her. I recommend to not get work by her. Better yet, i regret getting my eyebrows done.
