I tried to order dinner through the Eat24 app, and Pepe’s listed themselves as open(Saturday, 10am-2am). After waiting 3 hours, I call Eat24, and they refund my money. A little while later, I get a call from the business and a lady tells me, rudely, that they are closed. Now, I’m out the money for the meal(for a few days) and I’m left without dinner. I’m going to go out of my way to get my friends and family to NOT eat here.

The food arrived in a decent time(hooray for GrubHub), but it was cold, and nothing tasted good. They sent the chips with a scoop of pico plopped right on top, so the chips were wet and floppy(and cold!) by the time we got them. The«tamales» were… I don’t know what they were. They were not tamales as a Southerwesterner would recognize them. My best guess is that someone took those weird little midwestern tamales that come in a jar, and deep-fried them. The white sauce they’d been drizzled in was hardened, so you could pick up the whole zig-zag line in one solid piece. Neat, but not appetizing. The tacos were uncooked(cold!) tortillas with a scoop of dry hamburger meat inside. Overall, the whole meal was pretty gross, and we threw most of it away. We will not be ordering from Pepe’s again.
