Not the biggest farmers market, but it is great to get in, get what you need and get out. Produce is always clean and fresh, salsa is great. We have been there quite a few times and always liked it. I had the lobster roll at Cousins Maine Lobster, a Shark Tank success story, a few weeks ago, excellent, but expensive, there was a long line to order, but well worth it. This time we had the teriyaki chicken bowl with Island Style Grind. I was looking for a food truck, but they had a tent with roasters, but it was outstanding with great flavor!!! All the vendors are very friendly.

This is a mid-size farmers market. There are a couple rows of tents featuring handmade soaps, home-baked goods, crêpes, fresh produce, knitted goods, and other items. The thing I love about going to the farmers market is getting fresh produce. I like getting the different varieties that you don’t see in the grocery stores such as the red colored carrots and the orange colored beets and green tomatoes. The last couple times I went they had various sizes and colors tomatoes, fennel bulb, colored beets, cucumbers, squash, Zucchini, carrots, bell peppers, spring mix salad, herbs, jalapenos, strawberries, duck eggs and regular farm fresh eggs and many others. It would be nice to see even more items and more variety of fresh produce. But I think for the owners they have done a splendid job with the amount at their tent! My intention this time was to get the Persian cucumbers and orange beets. This time around they didn’t have the Persian cucumbers so I went along and bought the orange beets, fennel bulb, leeks, and the green tomatoes. During this time of the year the farmers market opens at 8AM and closes around 12PM. Credit cards and cash are welcomed.

It’s small maybe only 10 – 15 different tents. I like walking through it, but for a guy, there’s nothing much for me to purchase besides salsa. Homemade soaps, crepes, organic manure, old lady trinkets, dresses, yoga stuff and etc. They do have food, usually 1 – 2 tents, but last time I was there, it was in a tent and in a big warmer, not cooked fresh. If there was a food truck and I knew it was freshly cooked, I may eat, but not if its been sitting in a bin. It’s a good attempt for a farmers market, but for a dude, there’s nothing for me.

Small but sweet. There’s probably about 10 – 15 vendors such as home canned goods, baked pastries, brats, crafts, etc. I am really liking Pepper Ranch produce. They have farm fresh chicken and duck eggs. I contemplated on buying this huge rheas egg… emu like birds for my little cutie pie, but it was $ 8 each. I will think about it. I also picked up a bouquet of flowers for home.

Pretty small farmer’s market, but it’s a good option if you want local produce and fresh eggs. There were 2 stands of vegetables, some crafts booths, and some local products in jars(Honey, jams, marinated and pickled vegetables). I was excited that one of the stands had farm fresh eggs for sale! I also picked up some really nice, fresh vegetables for the week. For those that don’t live very close to the larger farmer’s markets(Like the Phoenix Public Market), this is a more convenient choice if you live in Tempe.

I love this small farmer’s market. In the winter they are in the parking lot on Saturday mornings from 8am-12:30pm. In the summer they start at 7am. They are located between Harbor Freight and Rigatonys in the parking lot next to Warner Rd at McClintock and Warner. My favorite is Tess’s fresh veggies. She actually has photos of her organic veggies growing in her garden. She has awesome veggies and I have no idea how she gets her radishes to grow to the size of golf balls without getting hot and pithy. There is another vendor that brings up awesome fruit and veggies from the Willcox, AZ area(love the Pink Lady apples in season). There are also honey, food, clothing and other vendors. Plenty of parking, but a lack of shade is a problem on hot days. There are awnings for the vendor booths, but not much shade for shoppers.
