I had a great experience at Blondie’s! I showed up 20 mins early but only had to wait a few minutes before being seen. Courtney was friendly and attentive and did an awesome job! I have really thin hair and I’ve had bad haircuts in the past, so I was really nervous. Courtney listened to everything I wanted and executed perfectly! I’m so happy! I will definitely be back.

Had a Brazilian Wax done. I’ve been having this type of waxing done for the past few years. And this one was the worst by far. The person left hairs where I told her to wax it. The wax she used was horrible, and her techniques made the experience the most painful waxing I’ve ever had (and my hairs in my bikini area are used to the waxing). Do not recommend and will not go back there.

I love love love Heather. I get my hair cut and colored and realized when I ‘cheated’ on her while she was on maternity leave that I really don’t like any other stylists as much. The salon is very nice and I’ve always been treated really well. I highly recommend both the salon and Heather.

This salon was recommended by a friend of mine I called around 3 o’clock this afternoon to schedule an appointment someone answered the phone rude, rushy, and very unwelcoming, I asked to make an appointment for a haircut and she told me she doesn’t make appointments she would have the receptionist call back in 20 minutes to schedule something. That’s fine, you cut hair but don’t make appointments, makes sense, but it’s now 8 o’clock and no one has contacted me. If this is the way their customer service is over the phone I definitely do not want to know how it is in person. I will NEVER go to this salon, thanks to the snob who answered the phone who may or may not have actually written my number down and if she did, thanks to the receptionist who never called me back.

I hate writing bad reviews, but now that I have been dealing with the aftermath of a HORRIBLE color job for over six months I decided to. I went in with bright blonde highlights that I wanted toned down to a darker shade. My colorist put on a horrible brown die and I ended up with bright orange and completely SPLOTCHY hair. I went back in the next day in tears and she decided to fix it by putting in bright blonde highlights again. This time I walked out with streaks of blonde and orange– still in tears. They refused to give me my money back. I have gone for three corrections during these past six months and NO ONE can get the orange out of my hair. I’ve tried everything. After so many corrections my hair is completely dry and damaged and I don’t see it ever going back to normal.
DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!

Beware, The customer service from the owner and management are probably the worst I have ever seen and not worth the effort.

I have found my salon! Moved here 1 ½ yr. ago, and been looking for someone who
could cut my hair, and do my partial highlights and low lights. Saw the Groupon for Blondies and checked out their excellent reviews. I was not disappointed! Heather did a great job with highlights, lowlights, haircut and asking all the time about what I wanted to do with my hair. So in love with the job that Heather did that I booked my husband a cut with her, and my next hair appointment. Next time I’m going to book getting a manicure while getting my hair done!

I had an impulse decision to chop my hair off and my normal girl wasn’t available so I went searching on Groupon and found Blondies. I saw April for just a haircut. I was cutting off a good 6″ and have never had short hair before so April took her time and asked in great detail about how I wanted it and mentioned a few suggestions. I have really fine and thin hair and she really knew my type of hair well.
I am super impressed with my cut, it is so great! She made sure I wasn’t going to have a blunt bob (which I hate) so she did heavy texturizing and made it perfect. She also spent a lot of time teaching me how to style it. She didn’t want me going home and getting frustrated so she spent a good amount of time showing me tricks. She even told me that if I have trouble styling it at home I could come back with my tools and she would help me learn on my own tools. I’ve never had a stylist put so much effort into making sure I can style my own hair! She was amazing!
I will definitely be back to April!

I was pleased with my haircut until a few days later when my head started to itch! I had it checked out and was diagnosed with an infection!!! This happens from them not properly cleaning their wash stations and tools! Gross!

I had bought a groupon to get 3 Brazilians.
The first one went fine and in a timely fashion. When you are in a routine of getting Brazilians once a month you kind of get an idea of when you will be done and out and feeling amazing.
The second and third time was fine to an extent the lady was really nice and we would talk a lot about whatever which I like i’m not one of those people that don’t like to talk unless the girl isnt talking then yeah I just want to get out asap. But when you have things to do and places to be it gets a little mind boggling because the 2^nd and 3^rd time took between 30 min to an hour. My most recent visit was nice because it is crazy smooth compared to last time where I found quite a few stragglers in areas its hard for me to get to by myself :|
Sorry I know I don’t mean to give you so much information like that but I am being honest.
This last time again with the stragglers in hard to pluck areas. Just not as many.
On to the next one…

I have had a LOT of facials over the years, different states, different countries. The one I had at Blondie’s was one of the best, makes my top three or four of all time. I don’t remember who my aesthetician was, but I hope they made a note because I want to return this weekend. (I went to a spa called Hand & Stone for facial and massage because the location was convenient — big mistake, that place is AWFUL!) I’m sticking with Blondie’s for my PHX skin care.
Update: The person I had there who was so excellent left. I have not returned since so who knows.

Carol is no longer at this salon, sadly. And I do not know where she went! I tried their new esthetician, and she was nice and friendly but seemed nervous and unsure of herself or what she was doing. She did an ok job, but I’ve since moved further way from this salon and without Carol there, I did not see a reason to go back!

Tried this place out based on a groupon deal. Came after work and traffic was so bad that it made me almost 30 minutes late for my cut, highlights and style. My appt was with Courtney and since it was my fault for not leaving early enough, I told them that I would prefer just the highlights if there wasn’t enough time. In an hour, she was done with a great cut and highlights. I was just going home so I told her to not style it even though she was willing to! My color has stayed looking great and it’s been almost 6 weeks. I have recommended her to friends and family. Their price sheet is very reasonable. Was very happy with the outcome and it was worth it to drive from N. Scottsdale to Tempe!

After searching for almost a year for someone who really knows hair and how to work with it, I finally found someone! Heather Bailey at Blondies is wonderful at what she does and I really appreciated that she took into account my hair type, facial structure and the very vague idea I had for a cut and turned into a masterpiece! The salon itself is nice and the staff were all very friendly! I’ll definitely be booking an appointment again soon! Thanks Heather!

This place is fabulous… my chiropractor and his fiancé gave my coworkers and I gift. certificates for xmas… they go there to get their hair done and their nails… they know the owner and she is soooo sweet! We all went together, my coworkers and I, and we walked in and it. was cute… the
fabulous! I decided to get my nails done and i was told to try the glitter gel nails… i was so excited. the process is really cool… actual glitter is used and not a polish… she had an awesome selection of colors… it is probably about 30 minute process… but the result is so cool… my nails lasted about 3 weeks and you are suppose to go back and get them filled… i
many compliments on my nails wherever I went… the price. was great and not crazy! My coworker got her nails done too and the two others got their hair dyed and cut… they looked fabulous as well… i would recommend this place to anyone… i wish it were
me but that is. ok!!! They are awesome try it out!

So this is my first review I am writing. I have always been too lazy or havent been wowed enough to do so. So today I had a gel manicure done with Andrea (actually the owner of the salon). I have got gel manicures before but wow! my nails look amazing. Not a single hang nail left, not any polish on the tips of my fingers, and they are shaped perfectly. She did such a great job. Plus you get 15% off your first time service so it was a great price. I wasnt going to but I ended up getting a pedicure with Pam who was amazing as well. Great massage and they werent trying to push you for a longer massage or anything. Great little shop and so personable. I will definitely go back. You wont regret trying them out.

I just had to post a review about this great new salon that really understands the concept of ‘customer service.’ I have been going there for a few months for my waxes, and thought I might try the new gel nail polish that is supposed to last for 2 weeks. So I made an appt with Andrea (who is also the shop owner) and got a lovely manicure, but when she went to apply the gel polish it didn’t take to my nails! Boy was I disappointed (and so was Andrea!) She finally did a regular polish and gave me a nice discount and told me she would research the issue and could I come back for a free manicure next week? You bet! I went in last night and she applied the gel (the oil in the manicure was the culprit!) and they look fabulous.
Thanks Andrea (and Blondies) I will be back!
