We have had issues with our garage door for about a month. I called a competitor who priced a new garage door motor for $ 700. A1 said they could install the same unit for $ 330.
Trevor arrived at the appointment time. He surveyed the garage issues, agreed that a new motor was needed, he reviewed all the options available and the differences. He even pointed me to online pricing to ensure that they had the most competitive pricing around.
I decided to go with a different but similar model. Trevor explained what the differences would be, how the warrantee worked (on this plus other products) and what A1 would/​could do for me in the future.
No need to search for other companies. A1 is an honest company who is more concerned about repeat business and word of mouth referrals than overcharging unknowledgeable customers. Will use A1 from now on. If you do use them, ask for Trevor. You won’t be disappointed.

A1 was the third company that came to my house after I selected them by chance from my home warranty company. They did what the first two refused to do, or made excuses not to do. A1 took care of a new garage door opener installation and took the time to diagnose, explain, and work with the warranty company. I will absolutely use them again whether the work is covered by warranty or not. In fact, I had them do some extra work while Ed the serviceman was there. It’s because he took the time to show me what was in working order and what needed work. He then went through all paperwork to include warranty information. His 32 years of experience definitely showed! I highly recommend A1 for any garage door or opener needs.
