The place looks nice, has a good western vibe, waitress’ in daisy duke shorts and country attire. Country music playing. Great for a TEX BBQ joint. We were sat very quickly and given our drinks and menus fast. Adriana C was our server, very fast and also sweet personality and friendly. All good… UNTIL… WAIT FOR IT… WAAAIIT FOOOR IT! The food we ordered was supposedly made to order, Eggs Benedict with hash browns… And my dish «medium rare steak and eggs with scallop potatoes» the food came out timely… Timely and my steak was medium rare plus COLD … Just as COLD as my potatoes… Just as COLD as my wife’s hash browns… we tell the waitress, she tries to say she will bring my plate back to the kitchen so that they can reheat what was supposed to be food that just was «cooked/​prepared» a minute ago. I took a bite of the steak and it was cold enough for me to just deny/​reject the dish. Forget it, I’m not eating here! My wife excepts the reheating of her «freshly cooked» hash browns… they bring her whole plate back with warm hash browns and room temperature eggs Benedict. Also my wife ordered toast too, so they bring her two slices of SOFT untoasted white bread with butter and jelly with honey… LOL…Whoopty doooo!!! … And then the manager was notified of the cold food and the rejected steak plate… manager «Lavern or Levern» tells me «I can do one of two things here for you. 1: take the steak plate off of the bill and that’s that! Or 2: You can order a meal of the same or lesser value ON THE HOUSE… Try something else, like off the lunch menu, we are almost done serving breakfast.» I said ok thanks, I’ll try the brisket dip sandwich… It was good, nice French dip Tex BBQ sandwich… Ok cool… Then the waitress brings the bill, the manager took off the steak and egg meal and then in turn CHARGED ME for the sandwich lunch plate… No discount no customer service compliment“sorry for our screw up here’s a percentage off the bill” No NOTHING! I understand that ON THE HOUSE means «complimentary» in normal service industry diction… I guess at Texas lils it means «sorry your s#|+ was cold and all but get something else in the menu that you didn’t order in the first place, and I’ll be happy to charge you full price» management was condescending and borderline rude when we asked him what does On The House mean… He replied «I know what I said, call the owner he gets here at 3» we paid our FULL BILL, we tipped our server over 20% and have enough $ to buy every dish on the menu, maybe they assume that we were the people who dine out and complain to get free stuff, sorry but we may be a young casual couple/​family but we know how to dine and we do so for the fact we love customer service and a clean kitchen at home… We don’t need a diizzam thing for free… But what we do need is respect, HONESTY and customer service!!! Servers are great … Manager FAIL… I give one star because LEVERN LIED TO ME!!! OkayBye!!!

We where seated, it took 8 minutes just to acknowledge are presents, we put in are order in a ceaser salad and a cheese burger! very simple right? «WRONG» after 30 minutes have gone bye! and everyone who walked in after us, has gotten there food, we asked what happened to are food! there response was WE ARE SLAMMED! Yeah! Then why? Is everyone being served before us! finally the Manager! Yes! Manager! Brings us are food! These where his exact words and I QUOTE! ceaser salad? Cheese burger! No apology! Natha! Nothing! What a joke!

The brisket was amazing, no knife required! The guacamole burger is my favorite burger ever. Plus, kids eat free!

I know my wife had left a review already but besides always having a great meal in want to personally thank our waitress for tending to my service dog Bonnie with water and serving her a great burger Patty from your canine menu. Thanks for a wonderful meal and you’re attention to Bonnie.

Lovin’ it here! Chili is smoky and very flavorful (no beans). Sitting on the patio, enjoying a country version of the Beach Boys on the speaker, and impressed by the portions. Definitely worth visiting, especially since they have parking – a rarity in Old Town Temecula.

Fun place with a big menu. We have a service dog and we were pleased to see a canine menu. Non-​service dogs are always welcome on the patio

I only come here for drinks occasionally. The food is not for me. The atmosphere is casual and it’s in Old Town Temecula, so it’s a nice place to stop at for a Long Island Ice Tea. Texas Lil’s does make the best.

Would have gotten a better review but the service was horrible. Our waitress was so inattentive, and never gave us an itemized receipt. She just ran my husbands card and brought the slide to sign. The food was good but I felt like they don’t give the daytime customers enough service.

Came in because the sign said, «best margaritas in town.» I expected a mediocre drink but it really was a GREAT margarita! The staff was friendly as well, which is always a plus.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. I’ve been craving some gold bbq food. The brisket sandwich hit the spot! This is my new favorite place for bbq, they have tons of other options on the menu, I feel like I need to try it all! Staff was attentive and very helpful. Went on a Monday night and it eas very low key. Great place to have some great food and drinks.

This visit I was a bit doss appointed. I waited 40 minutes for my rice bowl. I must admit the food is great, but the wait was too long. I will try this place again, perhaps not on a weekend.

The Juicy Lucy Burger was AMAZING! 3 types of cheese in between 2 beef patties on a toasted potato bun was perfection! Beautifully moist and cheesy til the very last bite. I loved watching the cheese ooze out of the burger ugh total food porn I had a great time here and also the servers were very attentive and friendly! I will be coming back here again!

Yes we brought it up to server and she fixed it. We never received appetizer, asked twice for BBQ sauce (which was hot and amazing) and son had to ask twice for 2 nd beer. Our bill was over 100 $ and we left 10 $ tip and feel like for that much $ should have been better service. Waitress was great, just very busy! Thanks for responding back.

Pros:
This place is huge with a ton of seating, so you are not likely to wait.
Side dinner salad has a lot of lettuce and is big enough to share and the lettuce was very fresh. The dressings are all homemade which is excellent.
Service was excellent and server was very attentive throughout the meal.
We tend to be rather particular in how we order things and our server got our entire order correct. Additionally, it was clear that there were two separate parties at our table and she split the check for us on her own as a courtesy.
Chicken Parmesan sandwich is delicious with a generous sized breaded chicken breast and tasty sauce with outstanding melted mozzarella.
Also, the onion petals were delicious, though I recommend using their regular ranch for dipping.
Their chili is delicious, but a bit spicy.
Con:

The garlic mashed potatoes certainly leave something to be desired.
Environment is a bit outdated.
Bottom line: OK, so this isn’t fine dining, but the food is rather delicious and you should definitely give it a try!

Their Mexican corn is the best I’ve ever tasted. We got the chicken fried steak and tri-​tip with enchiladas. I didn’t like their iced tea. It was that pre made stuff, not fresh brewed. The food was great and huge portions. I’d come back.

I can’t judge the food since we never got to try it. There was a group of six of us and after we got seated no one ever came to take our order. Another group same size as ours was seated right after us and got their order taken right away. We walked out and will never return again.
Worse part was the place wasn’t even busy.

Themed western restaurant with country music. Staff was friendly and courteous. It’s basically a bar with food.
Our food came out and was good/​OK. Nothing to rave about. Our waitress didn’t have a problem splitting our checks. Not much else to say about this place. There’s plenty of other places to try in Old Town.

Yea, I get it. Put pretty girls in semi-​Western attire, create an environment where it feels like a cross between a dive bar and a country bar, and hope for the best. But honestly, this theory can work wonders if the food is somewhat decent… this wasn’t the case with my experience.
Sarah was my bartender. Friendly, efficient, easy on the eyes, but with only 3 other people sitting at the bar, not much of a conversationalist. Call me old fashioned, but bartenders are supposed to be a little more than «do you need a refill» and «is there anything else I can get you?» Still, I can look past that.
Ordered the herb-​roasted chicken dinner… BLAH! The chicken was so dry I think they dehydrated it instead of roasting it. The veggies were bland, too, so there was really no saving grace here.

Great food, fast and friendly service.
I came here with my wife, mom and grandparents on a Monday night. We all ordered burgers. 3 of them we asked for special instructions, all of which came out perfect. The server was very friendly and nice. They also serve local beer, so we were able to get a Mango Hef from Garage Brewing Co.
I ordered the Tex-​A-​Melt but with a buffalo patty instead of beef. It was delicious and cooked just right. The fries were also very good. I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely love this place! Everytime I come I get something different it’s amazing. The staff is all friendly. From the busboy to the servers to the karaōke crowd on Thursdays.
The food is amazing. My last order was the BBQ Pulled Pork burger for the Two 4 Tuesday’s special. My boyfriend ordered the Texas Melt. And and boneless hot wings for appetizer. The hot wings were super juicy and tender with the perfect amount of spice. I don’t like spicy food but it was good. My burger was juicy and thick. Not to mention the super tender pulled pork. The Texas melt, even more delish. The bread was perfectly toasted and the peppers really gave it a kick. The patty was perfectly juicy and cooked to tender perfection. Even my side of Mac and Cheese was super creamy and cheesy. Not greasy or overwhelming with butter or cream.
Previously I’ve tried the fried chicken, the Salmon dinner and the appetizer sample platter. Also the beer is always cold and always poured with minimum froth. Never had a bad experience and my hats off cause this is for sure my fav restaurant in old town.
