I like the owner and staff and the food is decent. But if Subway is a 2 and Jersey Mikes, Benny’s, and Rock and Jenny’s are 5’s then their food rates 3 – 3.5 stars. That’s not to be a put down but it’s just that their taste does not measure up. If there is an edge that they have it’s that they have a good Smart Card discount if you have one(I recommend getting one if you don’t have one). My wife likes their Peppered Fiesta on rye a lot, but for me I can never envision choosing them over JM’s which is across the street.

This is my favorite sandwich shop. I also go to the location on hot springs. I love the cali sandwich with provolone on white bread. They always give me a good amount of avocado too. I usually get a 6 inch, but if I’m really hungry I go 9 inches.

Sorry, customer service here sucks. I had the girl this morning and it’s like she couldn’t be bothered by customers. Your job is customer service. She should have just told everyone, «sorry, just not in the mood.» Not going back to this location

This location is close to my house. I’ve been here several times and have never had one single negative experience. I usually use their coupons, 6.99 for a six inch sub, premium subs included, with a regular soft drink and a bag of chips, the only drawback is you can’t use your customer loyalty card towards a free sub. The bread is always fresh and they give you a decent amount of meats, cheeses, and veggies. Very filling!

Great sandwiches! First time here and I loved it. I had the Godfather, it had salami, capicolla, pepperoni, prociutto, ham, provolone, for only 6.99 it was great! Good prices and good service. I didn’t feel rushed and they answered all my questions. Definitely will be back.

I have only been to this place twice and both times i got the same two guys. One guy is a teenager and he isn’t rude but he isn’t friendly. He acts like he would rather be anywhere else. The other guy is older and I think he is a manager. This guy is RUDE. Doesn’t say hi, smile, or act interested at all. He simply says«what do you want» and acts annoyed if you don’t answer within 5 seconds. They both seem like i’m just another sale and they couldn’t care less. Disgusting. Produce that has been left out all day sitting in juices, brown lettuce, and blatant sources of contamination everywhere. The countertops they make your food on have clearly not been wiped off, I literally had to ask the girl making my food to not sneeze into her hands and then continue to make my sandwich. Can’t comment on the food cause I walked out after she told me it didn’t matter. Won’t come back.

I prefer this place over Subway. Yes, Subway has lower prices, but I feel Submarina builds a better sandwich with better ingredients. I enjoy the different bread, cheese, and meat options they have since there are few I like that are not available at their competitor. I agree with others about the customer service. It is really inconsistent. There are times we go in and service is great and there are times when it is not so great. I think it really depends on who is working behind the counter. The dining and drink station areas are kept clean and organized. I have not seen any issues with cleanliness at this location. Every time I go in, I make sure to bring one of the coupons they have available in the weekly/monthly mailers. Using the coupons really helps make the price point more competitive when getting a combo meal(sandwich, chips, and drink) — especially when feeding a family. Overall, I would not hesitate coming back to this location when I am craving a sandwich.

This place gets a five star for its food but a negative 4 for its customer service… Not only the employees, manager AND corporate voice service… Rude not helpful and don’t even get back to you… Unfortunately I will never eat here again… I am gonna miss the sprouts on my sandwiches but I will get over it… Rather that then be treated the way we were!!! This place makes some pretty darn good sandwiches. I am NOT a Subway fan and was glad when this place opened a few years ago. For the past three summers we have made it a ritual to pick up a sandwich here, which is a little out of the way, before heading to the concerts at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park. I have failed to write a review, for unknown reasons unto myself, but remembered today because I just left one for Benny’s Place in Murrieta. They bread is always so soft and fresh, just like the meats and fixings that go into it. Love that roast beef, swiss and avo on white bread! I have not felt rushed by the employees, or discerned them as being annoyed(but then again I have not been there an hour or less before closing time). They always seemed friendly to me.

The place is clean and some of the staff are friendly but for some reason my wife and I felt rushed when we ordered or food. Their sandwiches are a tad pricier than subway but the taste is way way better. You can taste the quality.

Good sandwiches, not so good service. The staff usually has a pretty bad attitude. If you go in an hour before closing they seem upset because they have already started cleaning. You should not try to make your customer feel guilty. I’ve been here several times because I like the sandwiches, but I have to say about 70% of the time I’ve felt an attitude from the staff. I think they should try to put a little bit of effort into customer service.
