Shakey’s isn’t anything more or less than you’d expect it to be, and that’s fine with us. We bring the whole family here about every other month or so for a family dinner night, and we always leave stuffed and satisfied.
As I wrote this tonight, on a somewhat busy Friday night, the food came out hot and fast. Good service, as the server came around regularly to check on us.
We like it here and will be back again!

A Great tasting bargain! The buffet is great, Mojo Fries are great, the fried chicken is perfect, steamed veggies and a good selection. The Salad bar was fresh and had a good selection Perfect place for the family or a party. The pizza was picked over and it took my entire stay before fresh pizza came out. Other than that, I will go back.

In full disclosure, having grown up across the street from a shakeys pizza and eating there every week until adolescence I’m a bit biased. So my 5 star rating is heavily based on that.
Disclaimers aside, If you grew up like me eating at shakeys, I’m happy to report that this shakeys does their pies the way I remember them!
The mojos and chicken are spicy and the pizza thin and crispy with just the right blend of cheese and sauce that some other locations fail to match.
Prices are bizarrely high for what you get and has put off our friends who had never dined there before.
Despite the prices thank you for serving your pizzas right! I can only hope some of the other locations (that are closer to me) can figure out what they are doing wrong!

We won’t ever go back to Shakeys. Their menu is pricey and they consider cheese a topping which is ridiculous. And their salad bar sucks. The only thing they have going for them is their employees were nice.

Not the best pizza out here. Sorry to say but Totino’s frozen pizza is better than this place. Always had to ask for help bc no one was at the register or at the prize counter.

Went late on Saturday night with my family and we were treated like royalty. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. Since they were getting ready to put the salad bar away they reminded us on how much longer. From the moment we walk in the lady greeted us and gave my 3 year old a sucker. Just the small things made a huge difference. The last time I’ve been here it was not the same service. Pizza was good and salad bar was fresh. No complaints on the food. My kids had fun in the game room. I don’t know why the 3 stars this place has. Our overall experience was top notch. My wife was hesitant to go there due to the 3 star rating but at the end she insisted on giving the lady who helped us $ 25 visa gift card.

After all these years, Shakeys is still surviving and making great pizza.
Completely missed the «pig out» buffet by an hour, so got squeezed like a tourist for a 44 price tag for pizza, mojo potatoes and 2 salad bars. Not too bad. But when some pizzas the same size are 5 bucks, It’s a little hard to pay 17 for the same dough and a few topping crumbs :)
Pizza is great as expected and unchanged. However, not sure what happen to the Mojo Potatoes they weren’t the same thick slices. The salad bar only offered pale iceberg lettuce and the staple selections of add-​ons.
Perhaps it’s a location factor. As I really haven’t been in a shakeys for over 12 years.
Anyway, the best and only way to enjoy Shakey’s IMHO is top grab the «pig out» buffet hat happens daily mon-​fri around noon.

Came here for a baseball pizza party. Unfortunately we couldn’t order anything since everything has gluten in it. Two members in my family have celiac. Oh well, waiting for the baseball party to be done. Starving!

Took the family for dinner last night. We had a great time.
Chicken and mojos were great as usual.
Tried a large firehouse pizza and it was excellent.
Only thing we didn’t like was they had no Tabasco sauce

I’m a fan of Shakey’s every since I was a kid… however some of the establishments are just not what they used to be. We’ve been to the Temecula location probably a handful of times and thought it was time to provide a review. They have the most friendliest staff and always very welcoming and provides wonderful customer service.
This restaurant is so clean and there is always someone monitoring the salad bar ensuring everything is clean and fresh. (Only salad bar I will eat at) The food is always piping hot! Bathrooms are clean and the arcade area always has a staff member to locate if needed. They have TV’s all around and floors are always tidy as well. WE just went this past Sunday and I would recommend if your a fan of pizza, chicken and mojos’ go to this Shakey’s …

My husband and I took our grandkids out for the lunch buffet… but we didn’t eat very well. The corn pasta and mashed potatoes were DRY, OLD and DISGUSTING! The staff was apologetic and made fresh pasta but shouldn’t that be done anyway? Not even the Manager came by to talk to us about our «bad dining experience!» We will NOT be returning. SHAKEY’S isn’t like it used to be :(

Shakey’s has been around for a long time. I remember growing up eating Shakey’s and thought their chicken, potato wedges and even the pizzas were the bomb. Well, saw one near our house and got excited so we tried it. Ummm, definitely not the same. The chicken was salty amd greasy and the wedges were just ok. Well, my expectations were high before coming in but after eating there, I’m not too sure I’d go back as often. I said not often because they do have a buffet that includes chicken, spaghetti, salads, wedges, pizzas, etc. Great place for kids though as we saw a lot of them.

Extremely dirty and slow. Would never come back here again. The carpet is gross, the seats are black from filth, the tables are sticky from God knows what. The night after eating here both myself and my son were sick. Avoid this place

OK, so I went back to Shakeys today for lunch with my wife and it was amazing as always. The food was hot and everything tasted fresh. I was impressed with the service today. The manager was out cleaning tables, talking to customers and greeting folks. The young man at the register was very professional and during the lull in customers he was cleaning and restocking the slad bar.
But what stood out today was MIchelle. I take my hat off to her. She was hustling her butt off. She checked on us like 5 times to bring us fresh plates, clean the old ones off the table and she was genuinely a happy employee which seem to be rare at other restaurants in Temecula. Thankyou for making our experience today one of the best we have ever had… Michelle I appreciate you.

Visited today at 3:30 PM for a small birthday dinner of games and pizza for our son. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Food was VERY disappointing though. Salad bar was so bare, salad lettuce remnants were brown and wilted, and when we requested new lettuce, they placed the new lettuce atop the old… Not too appetizing to be honest. We were in and out within an hour. We visited to accommodate our son’s request, but I will not be visiting again anytime soon, I’m sorry to say. Thank you, to the staff, but food quality has really gone downhill.
