Sears Optical

Very disappointed with this store, I have always shopped sears and never had an issue until now. My wife needed glasses so we went to the sears optical in temecula, ca. A few weeks after she received her glasses one of the arms broke off, needless to say they would not replace the frame. So after taking the 400 dollars from my insurance and the additional 99 bucks I paid out of pocket there is no warranty on the frame!!! Well I will not be returning to this store for glasses again.

Dr. Anika Ramolia. was a lifesaver, I had broken one of my contact lenses. I’ve been wearing hard contacts for over 25 years. Always a pain in the ass lenses to deal with, they would easily come off your eye and a little hard to put in and takeout along with being much more expensive, but that’s what i was told by all my other eye docs.
I needed to find a an eye doctor as soon as possible, I called 3 – 4 offices, only to be told i would have to wait a week to see someone. The price range to just have a exam was crazy from $ 125 to $ 250, what the hell i’m getting an exam not a new eye and thats before the cost of the lenses. So i thought what the hell i’ll call Sears Optical, was able to make an appointment the next day Dr Ramolia did a full exam and was able to fit me with a pair of temporary soft lenses. I had only used soft lenses once about 25 years ago, I had a lens get stuck in my eye and had to go to ER to have it removed. Dr Ramolia insured me that it wouldn’t happen again, she said it been 25 years the lenses are much better then before. So i gave it a try. I love them now. easy to use and much more comfortable. I had to come in a couple of times for lens adjustments, but that was no big deal. I would recommend Dr Ramolia to all my friends and family. Excellent service and cares about her patients.

Hubby and I were just in SoCal for a weekend trip when, of course, he gets an eye infection after sleeping in his contacts. A friend recommended to see the eye doc at this Sears location since we have a high deductible medical plan and wanted to pay out of pocket. To our surprise, we met the bubbliest eye doc to make light of the whole situation. She prescribed some eye drops and recommended a switch to the Night&Day contacts. Infection cleared up literally later that evening, and we were able to still enjoy our vacay! Thanks doc!

I have been seeing Dr. Dewan since she was in Carlsbad. When I found out she moved to Sears Optical in Temecula, I made the trek from North County for my next check up. I have a bare-​bones insurance plan, so I try to seek services that are easy to access and sometimes outside my network. Her fees are more than reasonable for the service and frames.
Dr. Dewan is great about answering my questions and never makes me feel uncomfortable about asking a LOT questions! She has a a way of explaining «eye» stuff in non-​medical terms so I can understand. I feel like she genuinely cares about clients and wants the best outcome for each one. Two thumbs up from me!

Ever since moving back to Southern California, I’ve been optometrist hopping because I haven’t been able to find someone I feel 100% comfortable with. That all changed last week when I meet Dr. Anika Ramolia. She was very nice, gentle, and seemed to really care about me and my eye health. Even though I now live in Long Beach, I plan to make the trip down to Temecula for my annual eye exam /​check up. I highly recommend her for anyone who cares about their eyes and is looking for someone who genuinely cares about their well being!

Dr Dewan has been my optometrist for years. She and her staff are always helpful and friendly. Dr. Dewan has always been there if I has any eye issue or to answer any questions I’ve had with my glasses. Not only is she super experienced but affordable too!
Once I was in LA and had a contacts emergency. Dr. Dewan reached out to a sears optical office near me and I was able to go there and get assistance within an hour! She didn’t have to do that, and honestly I never thought an office, let alone the doctor, would take the time to do something like that. I guess that just goes to show how much Dr. Dewan’s patients mean to her.

I went to see Doctor Anika Dewan today and she was soo sweet and understanding when my insurance wasn’t coming through (it turned out that my employer changed from eye med to vsp) she was patient well i had to deal with that! She was very friendly and even gave me an extra pair of contacts because I was in such desperate need! I also have to say Melissa the manager in the office was amazing extremely kind and really let us know what our insurance offered and exactly what I would expect… she was great, super nice and very well educated on what she was doing.. I’ll definitely come back no doubt about it!
