We had dinner at Paisano’s on June 15th2016. The ambiance is quite nice and has an upscale feel. We were the first guests of the evening. However the food was lackluster. My wife had the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The sauce was pretty standard store bought texture and flavor, it didn’t have a home made flavor. The meatballs were very dense and had a premade taste. I had the special of the day Shrimp and Scallops Diablo. The colossal shrimp were overdone and chewy, the diver sized scallops lacked a good sear and were under done. For the special price the amount of shrimp and scallops seemed skimpy. The sauce was simply spicy and lacked any depth of flavor, just heat. The pound of cooked pasta was excessive. The service was good. Although none of the waitstaff asked if we were celebrating anything special that night, we were, my birthday. That is kinda server 101 type stuff. We shared the the tiramisu and it was good and had a nice ending to the meal. We did discover that they were experiencing a gnat problem and hopefully that has been solved.

This review is from an 8 person dinner in the private room of this restaurant. The décor and exclusivity of the private room is great. It almost feels like an old medieval layer just for you! We had a very nice waitress and also a nice guy who would refill our waters and clean the plates was fantastic. The food was pretty good for a casino. The bread was warm and fresh and plentiful :) the market salad was a great portion and fresh with wonderful tomatoes. I really enjoyed my fettuccine Bolognese, very large and heavy, but I was hungry. The meat sauce was just right. Really awesome to have the chef and manager come greet us during our meal. It was a great experience!

There is a new young chef — Andre — who is adding his own twists to my favourites. Try the short ribs — fork tender and now served in slices. Delicious! I’ve become slighty addicted to the rigatoni with bacon in vodka sauce. Really rich and very good. I always bring half home to have the next day. Finish your meal with the trio of sorbets. They come with biscotti. Very refreshing. As always the staff and very professional and attentive. The Irish general manager(Alan) always makes sure you are satisfied with your meal.

I was so excited to try this place. It had a nice fancy ambiance to it. The man who seated us had a strong Irish accent and our waitress had a strong English accent which I loved. That was pretty much all I loved. We ordered the cheese garlic bread for our appetizer and it was basically bread with melted cheese served with flavorless marinara sauce for dipping. My friend had the spinach ravioli and enjoyed it but she’s not writing this review, I am, so maybe she would’ve given this place a star higher if she were a Unilocaler. My other friend got the linguini and clams and said it was ok. She hardly ate any of it and took the rest to go to her husband. I had the lasagna and honestly, when I took the first two bites I thought, «this taste like something I’ve had before.» And then it dawned on me… Chef boyardee. Yes, very disappointing. Probably the worst lasagna I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The bread that came with the meal was pretty decent tasting, warm and fresh. I asked for butter and I was served unsalted butter so it was less than stellar too. What’s the point of serving butter if it’s not salted? The n it tastes like nothing. Very disappointing. I won’t eat there again.

Decent spot, not worth what I paid but hey you live and you learn. 23 dollars for pasta??? At least the service was good.

The wait staff are awesome! Food is my chief complaint. 1. I ordered the Cappellaci di Zucca(omemade ravioli stuffed with butternut squash). It came with 3… THREE medium sized ravioli which were under seasoned, 2 asparagus, and 2 small peppers. Literally, that was it. It looked like a small appetizer or a child’s plate. It was a complete disappointment. 2. Wife ordered the Linguine and Clams. It had no wine taste and was very bland. The bottom of the bowl had a lot of water in it. She didn’t finish it. Go to the Sushi bar, it is way better!

We had excellent service. The salmon and ciopino were wonderful. I accidentally got a stone in my clams and mussels and they gave us free dessert in return. Not their fault but it was a delicious dessert. Love to eat here before going to a show at Pechanga. Very relaxed and very good food

Because The Great Oak Steakhouse was sold out for Valentine’s Day, I booked a reservation here. And, boy, am I glad that I did! Complimentary warm and crackling Italian Bread and butter was a very nice opener. Then delicate Calamari Fritti that came with a slightly spicy Marinara Sauce was golden, very light, hot, and tender. And Diane was thrilled because this starter was all rings(no tentacles). A small bowl of very good homemade Minestrone Soup for me was full of vegetables, including carrot, celery, tomato, zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, and potato, along with Ditilini Pasta. It arrived warm rather than hot. But when I mentioned this to my server, the dish left the table for only about two minutes and returned piping hot. A Caesar Salad ordered with 2 anchovies came with exactly 2 anchovies, and the Romaine leaves were fresh mixed with an enjoyable classic creamy Caesar Dressing and a long scratch-made Parmesan Croûton. Tender Ossobuco for me was surrounded by excellent large but soft Risotto. I had to get through some fat first. But then my entrée was pretty much pure fork-tender veal shank all the rest of the way. Meanwhile Diane enjoyed her light and nicely pounded Veal Parmesan Alfredo served with superb Roasted Potatoes. We were informed that Gelato Misti was normally served as Lemon, Mango, and Raspberry flavors. But when our server was told that Diane is allergic to berries, we were able to score Lemon, Vanilla, and Granny Apple flavors instead, along with excellent delicate Biscotti that was just sweet enough. Pretty much two on two service was great, and the casual table seating was comfortable in what became a packed dining room, with a nice view of an open kitchen where I could watch Chef Bruno creating beckoning entrees, while a beautiful large Calzone sat smoking at the pass, waiting to cool a bit before pick up and delivery to a lucky diner. I will have to return soon, to try that Calzone. And, I know that Diane, who loved her meal, and won money at slots to boot, will not be protesting a quick revisit to this fine ristorante!

I love pretty much every place that I have eaten at inside Pechanga. I live a little bit over a mile from the casino so I visit the eateries quite frequently. I’ve been to this place several times… however the last few times have just been not good at all, especially for the price. There are so many great places to eat Italian food in Temecula, and I wish I could say that this is one of them but it is not. Especially, since it is on the pricier side in comparison to other Italian places. The last time I went with my mom will probably be my last time unless they make a positive change. My mom and I got the shrimp scampi with linguini and it was so terribly bland we had to add our own extra seasoning.

We went to Paisano’s last night before a Ron White performance. This is without a doubt the worst meal I have had in a long time. We arrived and were seated promptly, and a waiter arrived quickly to take our drink order. We had a drink while we waited for our friends to arrive. So far so good. Our friends arrived and the waiter came by to take their drink orders. We looked over the menu, made our selections, and ordered our meal. We ordered the Bruschetta as an appetizer, I ordered the Alaskan Halibut, my husband ordered the Taglietelle Bolognese, my friend ordered the Lasagna, and her husband ordered the Alaskan Halibut. With this we ordered a few salads and a soup. We waited, and waited. Had another drink, and waited some more. The salads and soup finally came and we dug in. We had mostly finished our first course when I asked the waiter if our Bruschetta was coming. «Oh…oops…I forgot to put that in. Would you like it now? We haven’t fired your entrée’s yet.» Um, no we don’t want it now… we’ve been here for almost an hour by now and are wondering if we might be late for Ron White. The waiter apologized and off he went… I’m thinking to put our entrée’s in. About 10 minutes later our entrée’s arrive. They put down the Halibut and Lasagna for my friend and her husband. Her husband was sitting across from me and I’m smelling a strong fishy smell. Our entrée’s get delivered next and when my Halibut gets put in front of me the fishy smell is now overwhelming, so I asked for some lemon to hopefully help with this. In the meantime, my friend takes a bite of her Lasagna and says, «This is horrible.» Her husband takes a bite of the vegetables on his plate and asks me, «Are your vegetables cold?» I taste a potato on my plate and sure enough… it’s cold. I put some lemon on my fish and take a bite… barely warm, fishy tasting and very, very dry. My husband then noted that there was barely any Taglietelle in his Bolognese sauce. By this time we are wondering how this could happen when we see a Chef and Sous Chef standing at the pass, expediting the food. How could they let cold food go out to the diners? Isn’t that what they are supposed to be doing up there… checking food temps and making sure things go out the way they are supposed to? We called the manager over and he apologized, and asked us if we wanted something else. I ordered a Pomodoro Angel Hair, so I could at least eat something and asked for some more bread. The Pomodoro came pretty quickly and was piping hot. It was pretty good. The bread that came to the table was very dense and seemed like it wasn’t cooked all the way. My friend and I ate about half of the Pomodoro. We had pretty much lost our appetites. Her husband didn’t order anything else and my husband just slogged through his Bolognese. For the prices they are charging you would expect a very nice meal. We asked for the bill and paid $ 90 for our drinks, salads and soup. I was surprised they even charged us for the salads and soup. The meal was that bad. I would never go back here, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. The next time we go to Pechanga we will eat somewhere in Temecula first. We stopped at Denny’s on the way home because we were starving. At least we had hot food and good service.

My husband and I came to Paisanos for our anniversary dinner and we weren’t disappointed! My husband ordered the pasta with sausage and he thought it was delicious. He also enjoyed the Caesar salad he had before his dish. I had the potato pesto pasta that was fantastic, and the blue salad I had before was equally amazing. Service was excellent, the prices were very fair, and the before meal bread was good.

Someone pushed my 81 yr old mom down at Pechanga’s(rushing to gamble) and my mom hurt her knee pretty bad. The people at Paisano’s were very nice. Got her ice and kept asking if she needed a medic. So I do appreciate the attention they gave her. The food is usually pretty good, but I don’t know if we were just upset or what, but the ravioli was hard and dry. The salad and bread was excellent and the service was perfect. Thank you to the people that helped my mom.

Food is mediocre, the risotto served with the parmesan crusted salmon had NO flavor, the salmon was delicious. The table bread is tasty, I ordered a $ 26 Cioppino, a $ 26 dish and got about $ 5dls wort of baby scallops, four muscles, four baby clams, a few chunks of fish, no noodles and about one cup of lobster bisque. Macaroni Grill has better dishes for a lot less $. Good bye.

Excellent food, excellent service. I have eaten at Paisano’s maybe once a week for two years now, albeit, for the most part, opting for take-out. I can’t recall a time where I have been disappointed with the quality of the food. Every once in a while I might have some minor gripe such as there not being enough garlic or pasta, but always ALWAYS, they have been quick to make sure my needs are met. Recommendations: Garlic cheese bread Any of the pizzas Chicken Parmesan Penne with sausage Brasato(I am told this will be back on the menu soon) Tiramisu Things to look for: –Alan, the manager. Very attentive, good conversationalist, always helpful. –Atzari, the hostess. All the things one would want from a hostess plus very pretty eyes. –Luigi, the odd statue placed prominently at the front. –New chef and menu soon. Chef Francesco left a few months ago, but the new chef was recommended by him, so I’m excited. ‘If I had gotten to writing this review earlier, I could have mentioned the former hostess, Eli, now employed as a busser at the steakhouse next door. Her presence alone is enough to give a 5 star review. Give this place a try, and if you have an issue the first time, give them another try. They are very willing to make substitutions, alterations, and whatever else is needed to make it a 5 star experience.

Great service, however, all 4 of our dishes tasted like frozen dinners. None of us finished our dinners. I was bummed, I was looking forward to trying this place since it’s 2 miles from home. Won’t be going back…

Fast forward. July 2015. What a difference does a year make. Dined with same people, four of us. Our prior server Ashley had a baby and on leave. Current waitress was sleep walking and needed repeated waiving of arms to get attention. Busboy was in his slow mode and needed reminders to fill water and bring back bread basket. Chef Francisco has left and either gone back to Sicily or to Las Vegas. Currently they have no chef and expect one in September. Food creativity and presentation has gone downhill and chef boy ardee has better pasta. I ordered fettuccini with arrabbiata sauce. They forgot to put sauce. Other people in party ordered seafood risotto, chicken permagian and veal permagian. All taste less. Told them at reservation and at check in about birthday. They needed another reminder. Overall poor experience from service to food. Save your money and go to Pizza Hut.

I have eaten at this restaurant twice. The first time, it was really good. I was thoroughly impressed. They had a seafood risotto on the menu that was mushroom based. It was very tasty, consisting of clams, shrimp, lobster, and pieces of mushroom. The flavor was phenomenal! Paired with freshly shaved parmesean cheese and it was so deliciously fantastic! I knew I’d be back for more. The second time that I came, they no longer had that risotto dish on the menu. Waaaahhh!!! Dammit, it was so good! I looked on the menu for other options and found none that sprang out to me at that moment. My stomach wasn’t in the mood for heavy pasta, so I asked our server if the chef could make that dish, even though it was no longer on the menu. She checked and came back to tell me that he could. However, the dish that I got was nothing like the prior risotto dish. This one was tomato based and wasn’t impressive at all. The sauce was very bland and the risotto sucked it all up, so their was no real flavor. This pissed me off, because I asked if they could make the dish that was no longer on the menu for me. I specifically asked for this dish. If they couldn’t do that, then they should have fuckin said so! It was a waste of money and the dish was not cheap. I basically just ate the seafood out of it. One of my sisters had pizza, but the server forgot that she asked for sausage on her pizza. Her solution when my sister told her…“Oh, I can bring you out some sausage.” Are we for real, here? No, pinch me, because I know I must be trippin! First my dish is all wrong and then your offering to bring out some sausage for my sister to sprinkle on her pizza like it’s cheese!!! Really? It should have been cooked into the pizza. She didn’t even apologize. She just said, «Oh, I forgot. I can bring you out some sausage.» My other sister liked her pasta dish. One out of 3 isn’t too bad, I guess. Here is why they got 3 stars and that’s pushing it… 1. I called from our room to make a reservation, but no one answered the phone. I called 3 separate times and no answer. I even confirmed with the operator that they were in fact open. She had no idea why they weren’t answering. Third time around, I left a message. No one ever called us back, so 30 minutes later, we walk down and stand at the counter. I told the host that I called three times and left a message. They apologized, but then said that they got busy with patrons who were eating before the concert. I understand that, but 3 separate times and a message… someone should have answered the phone or returned our call. 2. The guy came around to our table with the bread basket, interrupted our conversation by loudly announcing the type of bread and then CLANKKKK!!! He goes to put the bread basket down, but instead drops it onto the table, almost like when someone slaps a dinner plate down in front of you and it clanks on the table. He did the same thing. Then he turns and leaves. No apology, no emotion, nothing. 3. My plate was fucked up! A completely different dish altogether. I did not enjoy it, at all. It was just damn nasty. Period. Usually, I can salvage anything, but this was nasty! 4. My sister’s pizza was also all wrong. The server didn’t even offer to make a new pizza, nor did she apologize for her mistake! Just saying she forgot and offering to bring out uncooked toppings to sprinkle on top is unacceptable. 5. Service seemed fake and slow. It’s almost like she did rock, paper, scissors to NOT get our table. Her slow service and fake acting interest was duly noted. I have no desire to try this place again, but as a lassssst resort, I will if I have to(«have to» meaning that If I’m with people who really want to go, I will try to disuade them, but if not then I will go. Shit! I won’t be happy, but i’ll go.
