Okay. So me and my girlfriend went to have sushi here tonight. The food was absolutely great. It always has been. Some minor issues with being unclear on how many pieces per roll. Some more than others. But hey no big deal. We aren’t greeted by the only waitress in the building and we seat ourselves. Ok no big deal. We asked our waitress to sit at a different table because we saw one open up. She said no problem and she would clean it. It wasn’t cleaned but we sat there anyway. I asked for a fork(im not handy with chopsticks) and some extra napkins. My girlfriend had to ask for a for after a food came because we still had not got one for me. And no napkins. Okay so none of this is a big deal. Its manageable and its whatever honestly. So i get to the end of my drink to notice a crusty shit thing stuck to the bottom of my cup. Instantly disgusted. 40 – 50 minutes go by AFTER receiving our food. Not once did the waitress come by to ask us how things were or bring my napkins. It wasn’t too busy. FINALLY get her attention. I bring up the cup and her response was«you probably backwashed hahaha» to which i was not amused nor did i find it funny. Not to mention her excuse for not coming by at all for any refills or our napkins or to ask how the food was that we chose a dark table in the corner and she is the only waitress and its our job to get her attention which we tried to do multiple times. Mind you none of what she said was said in a nice or apologetic manner. So we tell her we are done and would like our check. She brings out the wrong check and charged us nearly double for what we ordered. ANDSHETOOKOURORDER. So I politely ask her if she is the manager and if not may I speak to the manager. She goes in the back and comes back rudely saying she can offer us 10% off. I remind her again shes overcharging us nearly 30 dollars. She blames it on someone else and takes the check.(She just said she was the only waitress I thought… anyway) She comes back tosses the check on our table rudely saying Sorry you guys had a bad experience and said she heard us talking about her«table in the dark corner» comment and how its our fault to which we reply You just should pay more attention to your tables and not make excuses. She tells us «well then don’t ever come back». WHOINTHEIRRIGHTMINDWORKINGINANYRESTAURANTTELLS A CUSTOMERNOTTOCOMEBACKANDIS A TOTALSHITHEADABOUTALLOFTHEIRMISTAKES! It really sucks me and my girlfriend both love the food there and want to go back. But with her service our experience just won’t ever be enjoyable. Hands down the worst service and waitress I have ever seen in my life. My girlfriend is a manager for a restaurant currently and i have plenty of years of experience working in food. Mistakes happen nobody is perfect, but damn this lady was by far the worst waitress I have ever dealt with. Blonde woman. Sluggish. Doesn’t smile. And DOESNOT greet or ask you how your meal is going. Or bring anything you ask for. So if you happen to stumble into this establishment and see her turn around and wait till she is not there. TRUSTME. Your experience will be so much better.

The food and everything is amazing here but there is one BIG problem. There is a blonde waitress there that does not care at all about the customers. There was something gross in my husbands cup, she said he must have back washed. She completely ignored us through our entire meal and we had to wait 15 min for our bill, her response? «you shouldn’t have sat in this dark corner, I’m the only server here so you should have waved me down». She charged us for more than we ordered, she said she didn’t ring in the bill(she was the only employee besides the cooks). When she brought us the correct bill, she tossed the check on the table and told us if we weren’t happy with our service than we shouldn’t come back. I hate to give this place a bad rating because i absolutely love the restaurant but that lady has absolutely no business working in customer service.

Used to be our favorite. Will not be returning. From the rotten avocado, the rolls missing listed ingredients, the shrimp tempura lacking TEMPURA roll, the missing orders which never come even after reminding the server, the wrong orders, the awful music, the long wait for incorrectly made orders(WEORDEREDTHEFOODASISLISTEDANDTHEYWERESTILLWRONG), hearing other tables also asking where their orders were. I don’t know what happened… New management? But this ain’t the Ichiban’s we used to love going to. Won’t be driving out of our way anymore! We’ll be finding a new sushi joint!

I’ve been here on three different occasions and I can’t believe it took me this long to write a review! I enjoy the sushi here, particularly because it’s all you can eat. But if I did have to make a complain is that the service can be pretty bad. The first time I went, our party’s server was a lady. She was nice enough, sure, but she would often forget about our refills in a mostly empty restaurant. The second and third time I’ve gone, our server was a man who had a heavy accent and was hard to understand. That’s not really the problem, but what bothered us was his lack of professionalism he had, with comments like, «You want refill or what?» And, «I think this is your order.» But overall, I do recommend the place. Just be wary of the server you get and make sure you’re clear with what you want.

The absolute worst experience ever. We were the only table and it took the waitress 15 minutes to get our drink order. They then advertise specials that are out of when you order them. Crappy location, crappy service and false advertising. Stay away!

The spicy tuna temp and eel boat are by far my favorite items on the menu. The service is not the greatest, especially from the owner(older gentleman) but we still manage to come every week. I wish the attitude and vibe was better, would come way more often.

Wife convinced me that we should give this place another shot. Came in on a Saturday for lunch and to our surprise, the service was actually better than our previous two visits. The guy owner owner even though didn’t say much helped bussed our table and actually said«enjoy». Our actual server was very good taking our orders. The food actually was exactly the way we remembered it. The one negative star was for the special item they had posted. We ordered it but never came out. Never even mentioned that they were out until I had to ask. The other negative star was for another item on the menu but they failed to mention they were out and they just barely opened for lunch. Oh well, I guess our experience was a lot better than the last two so I hope they keep it up. We will try again but I hope they don’t disappoint or it will definitely be our last.

Came in quick here to grab a beer while waiting for my friends car at the dealer. Had 2 Kirins and decided on a quick«hear attack 6-piece roll». The service was good but watching the other sushi maker make rolls, he literally had gloves on, wiped them on the towel he used to wipe his work space. Then grab the order papers to read them front and back– put the back down and continued to mix the ahi and ingredients to make rolls. Luckily I watched the other sushi guy fry our roll and make it(clean) and give it to us. I’ll never be back… Disgusting!!!

The sushi here is good nothing special, but the service is just lousy. Went on a day where it was slow just us and maybe another couple there. Waiter wasn’t friendly at all, appeared bothered when I asked for a eel sauce a couple times and very slow to take our order.

This place is crazy!!! They serve you the fish which is BIGGER than the rice! If you like rice with sushi, you will be disappointed or you will be leaving this place hungry! I am just kidding. My family and I love this place as they serve the best Sushi in town with the biggest portion on the fish and so tiny on the rice. Go there and you will not be disappointed with their service and food!

I use to give this place a 5. I just went again a few days ago and it is the last time. I had to send the sashimi back twice due to it being dried out and not fresh. I could honestly pick it up and it would not change form at all. It had the texture of smoked fish. They did replace the sashimi with fresh sashimi. But then I get my rolls and find the same dried out tuna I sent back on them. Usually on a Friday night this place is packed. This night not even close. There were maybe three tables in use the whole time I was there. Very disappointing as this use to be one of the better sushi places in Temecula.

Great price for AYCE lunch. Lunch period ends at 4pm. For what you’re paying and when you’re craving sushi, just come here.** One of the best AYCE Sushi in the area. Been here couple times. +The sizes are very generous in fish to rice ratio. +A large variety of options of sashimi & special rolls +The taste of the nigiri is fresh and good.(Unless you’re one of those high-class fish eaters who are used to eating at very very expensive restaurants, you will be satisfied with the taste). –Come when it’s not lunch/dinner hour, otherwise, takes a bit of time for food to be prepared.

Okay, it must be all the Cowboys in Temecula giving the high ratings. First of all, sushi does not equal bait. Here are the issues at first glance: 1. Sushi bar is cluttered. 2. Fish in Sushi bar do not appear cold. There is no visible frost 3. Counter of Sushi bar is sticky 4. Sushi chef is not friendly. No smile, no greeting 5. No soy sauce/vinegar served with gyoza 6. Saki served luke warm and not hot 7. Sushi cuts are weird long angular cuts 8. Gyoza had a frozen chunk in it 9. Tempura batter was thin 10. Miso had undissolved clumps You do get two for 1 sake or beer to forget about the experience, but I only got 1 so I could get the hell out of there The waitress was helpful and gave good service. I therefore gave her a 20% tip! So Cowboys can continue to shop here for bait. Anyone else who thinks this is great should hop over the hill to San Diego to find out what defines real sushi. FYI — I checked has TV but it was out of order. They should have turned it off rather than let the display over the sushi bar say satellite unavailable.

This is good deal for AYCE sushi! 23 $ for a person. Very huge sashimi cut! I am so glad to find this place. This might be the best AYCE sushi place San Diego town. If you are so hungry and want to eat a lot portion sushi this is the place for. もしもお腹が空いて、たくさん寿司「食べたいと思ったら、ここはものすごくいいです。寿司の食べ放題がなんと23ドルです。にぎりのネタもとても大きくてびっくりです。うにはさすがにないけど、質より量ならいい値段だと思います。

This restaurant was my favorite sushi restaurant in Temecula for a long time, but it has consistently disappointed me my past several visits. I felt like a valued customer, but no longer feel like the owner is trying as hard to please his customers. The sushi has been a miss every single time. The salmon has been CHEWY. The coloring is not that beautiful orange color, but rather more of a reddish orange color that looks and tastes like salmon that is several days old. NOT fresh at all. I found that the salmon in the rolls are even worse quality than the salmon sushi. This is probably because they can cover bad quality easier with all the sauce they put on the rolls. The service has always been decent so no complaints there, but really, the fish quality needs to improve.

Best AYCE thus far! We live in San Diego but we were house hunting in temecula and decided to stop by and try this place out. Love it! Sushi was great and I love how they give u a piece of nigiri the size of ur hand? The rice and fish ratio is unreal. Love it. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stop by!
