You have the best snowballs. I need to tell you something… My soccer coach is your manager. Has the sweetest son ever. You also have lunch. Not just snowballs. Last time I went I got a hot dog and chips. I also got a… SNOWBALLLLL!

I finally got to Old Town for the first time and Happy’s was on my list to visit. I had the Mudslide and it was awesome! I already know what I’m going to try on my next visit next weekend :)

Happy’s contacted me and offered to make it up to us for being closed by giving us free snowballs. They were very apologetic and said they would fix their hours on Unilocal and Google. Great customer service! We returned today and ordered Peppermint Patty, Rainbow, Frozen Hot Chocolate and Bahama Mama. They were all stuffed with ice cream. I think Frozen Hot Chocolate is my new favorite. We all enjoyed our frozen snowballs! Very yummy!

This is one of the best ice cream parlors in the area. The service was very friendly and the Samoa snowball is awesome! Great family place.

I give one star for the service. The guy behind the counter was very friendly. I don’t get all the great reviews — maybe they just do exceptionally well with their snow cones, because I was not happy (no pun intended) at all with their veggie wrap. It was supposed to come with whole wheat wrap, avocado, black bean, lettuce & salsa. Instead, I got a spinach wrap that was old — it was very chewy; not fresh. Secondly, there was no avocado. I asked the man if they had ran out of avocados; he said no and that he put avocados in the sandwich — there were no avocados (or else, why would I have asked?); he later gave me a cup of avocado slices. Third, the veggie burger was processed veggie strips and the black beans were within the strips. Lastly, the salsa that came with the wrap, was served in a separate cup and it was like very cheap can tomato sauce. Very disappointed with the quality of food, especially since they charge close to $ 9. I would have preferred a veggie patty sandwich from Subway and I’m not even a huge fan of subway!
There is no WiFi and there were only 4 tables, so it’s more of a take out café. I probably would go back for a snow cone, but definitely not for the actual food.

Very good snowballs aka snow cones with ice cream in it. The only down fall is that all the stay at home moms are there with with their loud brats that they just let scream in the middle of the place. I am really HAPPY when they leave and I can finish my delicious snowball.

Excellent treat at anytime of the day. The owner is awesome and great customer relations. Would recommend to anyone!

Went in for 2 mini’s. My son loved his ice cream flavored snow ball. My daughter said she liked her coconut but didn’t love it however she did eat the entire thing before saying a word ;). Great staff, young woman was sweet, kind and patient. Definitely will be back.

Since writing my review ownership (Jay W.) has reached out to me a couple times to try and make my experience better than «meh» on my next visit. Problem is I’m only in the area once or twice a year. Because of the post visit customer service, I’m bumping my rating. They obviously care a lot about their customers’ experiences at the establishment.
On a related note, while Jay W. showed concern and care, there was a Jack W. who reached out to me with a little bitterness about my review. He didn’t identify himself as associated with Happy’s, but I’m willing to guess the «W» initial isn’t a coincidence.

Wonderful local business that is ran by a hard working couple. The place is always clean and welcoming. The food is fresh and yummy. The owners really care about serving the community and doing a great job doing so. Great place for lunch with the kids and visitors. Support local small business, especially one that gives back to the community.

I’ve been to Happy’s Café many times with my family, friends and grandkids. We have had your ice treats and some food there too! It’s always delicious. The staff is very friendly!

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered a snow cone, but boy did this exceed my expectations! It was absolutely delicious, and an amazing value for the price.
Happy’s is a delightful little shop with a truly happy vibe. We saw the snow cones advertised while walking around town, and stopped there before leaving for some desert. Like I said, I wasn’t sure what I was expecting, but it was nothing compared to what I got! I got the Oreo frap, which was on special for the day. First of all, I was surprised that the large size was only $ 5. Then I took my first sip, and WOW! Absolutely amazing! The guy working the counter also made all the treats while I was there, and he was super friendly and attentive to customers. I only wish I was in the area longer so I could guarantee another stop before I leave!

We just moved in the area from Northern California. We were looking for a dessert place and found this quaint little place. They were closing in 1 minute and the employee greeted us with a big ol’ smile and welcomed us.
The employee was so sweet and very informative and gave us plenty of ideas for the choices we had. I got a chocolate strawberry cheesecake snowball and it was delicious! I will definitely come back here!

So we did their tour with our kids. They LOVED it! Had a great time and got to make their own snow cones (balls). They have great flavor options, as well as toppings. Soft serve ice cream can be added to the middle of the snow too. Friendly staff! Good location!

This is actually a shaved ice place! I don’t know why they call them snowballs but I think more people would be familiar with them if they call them shaved ice. I felt like I stepped back in Hawaii!

So HAPPY to be here… As always. My daughter loves plain grape snow. I love Root Beer Float

My daughter loved the Elsa with blueberry. I would just ask for a tad bit more ice cream and a little less ice.
The customer service was superb! Not sure if it was the owner or the manager but the guy went around to everyone making sure they were all happy and satisfied and got the kids excited and laughing. Received our punch card and we will be going back! (Hopefully when they do the face painting)

I am being cautious as it’s likely my own stupidity to why I was not pleased at first visit. I will definitely be back to Try their sno cones.
I walked up, no one else was there, and there were 2 teenagers (one on her cell phone quietly) and the boy eating in the corner. I cleared my throat for them to notice me. I asked if they had icecream and he says sure, we have soft serve. Ok I’ll take 2 please. So he charged me 3.24, I gave him 4 and told him to keep the change and went over to the other side to get it. He rinsed his hands (did not wash) guess I should be happy a teenager at leased rinsed ! ;0) and waited for our 2 cones.
He searched around for a bit to find cones, should have been my first hint, but when he found them, he apologized that he did not have the waffle cones. I said no problem, I didn’t want s big waffle cone anyway so it was perfectly fine to me. He turns around to fill the sugar cones with icecream while I looked down at my phone to check in on Unilocal.
Just as he turns around, I looked up to see girl still on her cell, they giggled to one another and then behold.,., I see 2 tiny cones with half Melted icecream, no higher than 1.5 inches from the cone. I smiled and said this is my 1.50 cone? The icecream is obviously not cold enough in this machine as it is melty the moment your turned away from the machine. He says, let me look in the back for the waffle cones. I didn’t want a larger melted cone, I am guessing you don’t use this machine much…
So I got my money back (just asked for 3) so I still gave 1.00 tip because it was just as much my fault for asking for icecream at a place that has a different specialty.
I will most definitely be back to give this a more fair assessment and will update my review but honestly, these kids should be supervised as they are not ready to fly on their own quite yet.

Admittedly we were a little unsure about ice cream combined with snow ice, but holy cow it was AH-​MAZING!
Happy’s has a great selection of syrup flavors and toppings leaving endless possibilities. We had a small root beer snowcone and a caramel green apple snowcone, from the special menu, recommended by the gal at the register. The green apple one looked so good when it came to the table that myself and my sons went diving for it with our spoons, at the same time, causing the top full of caramel and condensed milk glaze to fall off! The lady was so kind after seeing this that she reappeared a minute later with the sauces to spruce up our treat.
The lunch menu looks delicious so we will certainly be back for that. The prices were great, service was excellent, and snowcones divine!
