Benjamin was EXTREMELY nice to my friends and I ! He was very knowledgeable about the wines and we all learned a lot from him. This wine tasting was BYFAR out best experience in Temecula. I STRONGLYRECOMMEND this wine tasting(which you can find on Grupon for very cheap). Word to the wise… Always check Grupon for their offers on wine tasting !

Visited this wine yard today with family. Waited over 20 minutes and still did not get to see the wine tasting menu and left. Tasting room very large and cold. Lacks personally… Went to Leoness which was a much better choice

We did our daughters college graduation party at Fazeli and they knocked this right out of the park. Our heart felt thanks to the Fazeli Family for making us feel right at home. Couldn’t have ask for an amazing time we had. From beginning of planning, organizing to the Execution of putting this all together was totally stress free. KC and Oscar for making sure our guests felt welcome kept the drinks flowing. Chef, the food was fantastic as always and our guests loved every thing you brought out. Jim for making sure nobody got out of hand. Last but not least BJ and Wendy, you haves this a very special day that we as a family will remember. Would recommend this place? Absolutely !!! Love this winery!!! Every employee is amazing and eager to make sure all are welcome. The Shiraz is my go to red, full of personality and taste. KC and Glow are the sweetest ladies there but you can always catch BJ the owner, and he always goes out of his way to say hi …

We love this beautiful Temecula Valley winery. The views are spectacular and the tasting room is stylish and fun. The wines are among the best in the Valley and we love the innovative Persian small plates. Try the kabobs, the flatbreads and the grape leaves. And the staff is so friendly and helpful.

We had driven up to Temecula on Valentine’s Day and tried a couple of different wineries and all were way too crowded to even make it to the tasting bar. So we took a ride in to Old Town and, based on reviews, went to Fazeli’s tasting room. There was no one there, even with the musician performing, so we went in and sat at the bar. Tastings were expensive! $ 20 for 5 tastes– and they were really small tastes! Didn’t really find any wines we liked either. Very disappointing.

The thin watery reds are terrebly over priced. 20.00 dollar tastings Are a joke for low quality temecula wines. nice place though. Whites were O k.

My friends and I sampled five, one ounce glasses of Temecula’s wines. They were very good, we believe their house Shiraz to be the best of what was sampled. The place got busy while there and there was only one hostess, which made it difficult to pay our bill.

Very impressed with this wine tasting room in old town. Very nice, comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of their wines. The reds are outstanding! Definitely a stop to make to try outstanding wines. I can’t wait to go to the actual winery in wine country, I hear it’s beautiful! They had live music Friday night that was good as well.

Yes, this tasting room is in old town Temecula, not at their winery, which I was happy enough for — gave us an excuse to also explore old town Temecula. The tasting room is very nice, and I love the wine tree they use for their tastings. They’re famous for their(quite pricey) reds, but we did a red flight and a white flight, and *all* their wines were very good, both red and white, and the whites are only a *little* pricey(especially if you bought a Groupon, which gives you $ 5 off a bottle, then they’re totally reasonably priced for the quality). So why 4 stars instead of 5? Because their red flight is more expensive, and at no point did they *tell* us that. It’s not unreasonable that it’s more expensive(the wines we’re trying are, and taste like, twice as expensive wines), it’s not unreasonable that they would pass that cost to Groupon-voucher-users, and if they’d asked, we almost certainly would have agreed to it, and it’s only a couple extra dollars. But it’s the principle of the thing: if a customer comes in with a voucher stating they have already paid and are expecting to get something with no additional cost, and you ask the customer if they want option A or option B for it, if option B is actually going to cost more, you *have to tell them*. Other than that, though, I was quite pleased with them(at Groupon rate — at full price I would have been rather less so.)

Fazeli’s tasting room is located in Old Town Temecula. We walked in to find a nicely decorated large room. My wife and I did a tasting of six red wines. They utilize a «wine glass tree» to stack your wines in the order in which they should be tasted. They advertise that they allow their Persian heritage to influence their wine making. I was not sure what that meant exactly so I did not know what to expect. I was extremely pleased with all the wines we sampled here. They use the Shiraz grape(thus the Persian influence) in most of the their wines. We ended up leaving with a couple of bottles. We were in on a Sunday afternoon and this happened to be during a period of live entertainment. There were two guitar players/singers who were very enjoyable to listen to. The two ladies that were running the operation were both very knowledgeable and sweet. It appears to be a small family run business and they are quite proud of it. As they should be. Next time we find ourselves in Temecula we will stop in again.

Came here last weekend and ended up coming back last night because we liked it that much. This place is situated away from the main drag of Old Town Temecula — it’s a cute spot with tables, a couch and a long bar. They have live music so it’s a cool spot to wine taste and listen to live music. They have some awesome reds — most of them are blends. My favorite is the 2012 Mehregan — Blackberry fruit layered with allspice, vanilla and cherry cola. Medium bodied with soft, smooth tannins. Their tastings are pretty cool — I like how the glasses are in towers and they give you a paper with the description of what you’re drinking. The staff are nice and friendly, one of the women chatted with us and she even gave me a boa set for my birthday. Cool spot with great wines and awesome live music. A good go to spot in Old Town Temecula.

Found this place by accident, trying to get out of the heat and find a good wine tasting place in town that you can relax with a glass of wine and music, and this was it! Beautiful inside, plenty of couch space, generous wine tasting and bar and live music. Got the 2 for 1 wine tasting and got to taste all of their wines that way, both whites and reds. Really loved their wine glass holders and they are for sale. We hung out wine tasting for a while and by 5 we were relaxing to a bottle of wine on the couch, glass in hand listening to some great music! Love this place, and will be bringing others to hang out here as well!

Great wine selections and very knowledgeable host. All their selections for reds are really good in my book. Fell in love with their 2012 Meritage. This place would be one of our regular place from now on.

Unlike the other wine tastings that I’ve been to, the wine tasting for the Groupon that was purchased for this winery occurred at a tasting room located in town, not on the grounds of the vineyards themselves. That one was my bad for not doing my research more thoroughly, but just in case someone is on Unilocal trying to do better research than I did, it’s in the middle of town, away from all the other wineries. My SO and I got two of the Groupon deals — one for his visiting parents to share and one for us. On the day we went the place was empty except for two employees behind the bar and one or two other couples. I’m normally friendly/jovial at these places and would think that the people working at a winery(where they would be used to people getting chatty after a few drinks) would be used to small talk and since they’re in customer service I would also expect them to have an informative, friendly helpful demeanor. The person who helped us was a terse sourpuss with the stingiest of pours. Whatever. Their wines were unmemorable. What was memorable was that when we finished our tastings and went to ask for bags for our complimentary bottles of wine and glasses my SO wound up having to fork out additional cash that the Groupon didn’t cover. It’s not like we did any of the upgrades that were mentioned in other reviews so we were at a loss as to why she said we owed more. He and I were upset because she wasn’t able to adequately explain why we were being charged that extra amount, but his parents were super nice and wanted to pay and just smooth things over so we let it go. But every time I see their deals on Living Social or Groupon I just roll my eyes. Never again. Side note: After that experience I recommended we go to a place I had gone before and had a great experience at — Wilson’s Creek. We had packed a picnic of cheese, fruits and meat(which we had initially intended for Fazeli, not realizing its location and the experience we’d be getting there), bought a few bottles of wine and sat at a table overlooking the scenery and just drank and chilled. Overall, there was way better wine, service, and atmosphere there.

Bought a Groupon to check this place out & loved it! Alisha, one of the bartenders helped us & she was super helpful and friendly. We got a bit tipsy & she chatted with us for a while. We upgraded for $ 5 and got the red. All the wine was really good! I joined the wine club. Alisha was very knowledgeable & helped us pick the best program for us with no sales pressure(I asked about it). We will definitely be back!

Great groupon deal! They give you five different wines to taste. The groupon deal was only for whites but she said if we paid $ 3 more for mixed, $ 5 more for just red. We paid $ 3 extra each for mixed and it was great. They also give you two wine glasses and a bottle of wine to take home. The girl that worked there was super nice but didnt give us any description– just handed us a sheet with all the info on it.

Wonderfully fragrant and delicious Whites. And the ambience and the arrangement of the wines in a tower were brilliant.

My wife and I went to Fazeli Cellars as our last stop in Temecula before hitting the road to catch our return flight from LAX. We were lured in by the promise of a 10% off wine bottle on Unilocal and planned on just buying a bottle and leaving. However, upon seeing the low-key layout, we decided to stay and split a tasting(we did the mixed red/white). They serve the glasses in an interesting array with very generous pours. The wines were all good– our favorite was the Pandemonium, which we bought. It was bold and flavorful. The bartender was very nice and actually clued us in on a better deal for our circumstance, in which we got $ 5 off a bottle of wine when you purchase a tasting(he hadn’t heard of the Unilocal 10% off deal). The only two drawbacks here are that 1) it is not at a vineyard, which is great if you’re in town, but it really misses out on the excellent views at other wine spots across Temecula, and 2) it seemed slightly pricier than other locations(tasting was $ 17 and our bottle was originally $ 45). Still, it was a great experience and I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Temecula’s downtown area.

Formal ambiance juxtaposed with the old Western towne theme of downtown Temecula. Interior is dark wood, wine barrels, very long bar and booths for seating. The place was essentially empty when we arrived. Service was outstanding, very attentive. The part owner came over to talk with us about the wine and just personal anecdotes– great hospitality. We sampled all the wines available. Due to their popularity, many bottles of the staff’s favorite wines were sold out. New vintages and special releases were on the way that we just missed out on. I thought overall the wines were surprisingly good– I don’t think I’ve had any wine from the Temecula area before. The wine flight was presented very neatly in elegant spiral towers and clearly labeled. We checked-in on Unilocal and got a discount on a bottle to go. I did think the wines were a bit pricey being from this region compared to Napa. However, they do not distribute so if you like the wines, this is pretty much the only place to buy them. Great place overall if you are wanting to do a wine tasting while in Temecula.

This was our last stop of our wine tasting trip. It was empty(it was a Thursday of I remember correctly). The bartender was friendly, accommodating, and humorous. She let us pick what music we wanted to listen to since it was just us two. The wine tasting presentation was fantastic. Each wine had a distinct and delicious taste. We also were given bread sticks which went well as a palate cleanser. It’s a little pricey compared to the other places we went but I know that their were probably even more expensive places out there. I would come back here.

We walked into this place as we were looking at some of the other wine tasting places to stop in on. This was the second one we went to as the first one we were not so happy with. It was a awesome place walking into here with a wide open area. The wine tasting bar was really organized and was a nice large bar area. My fave was the fire place. They also had super comfy booths to sit in and relax with tables around to enjoy the wine tastings. There was live entertainment which was a plus. The wine tastings were $ 15 dollars per person which is average. The server was also very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed this place and we will be coming back to visit sometime soon. If you haven’t been here I definitely recommend it!
