Everlasting Screens

Craig came out and fixed out sliding screen door. He was very friendly over the phone. We had to play with the schedule a few times to get it to work out but he was very accommodating. Each time on the phone he would say, I can get the work done without my being there & just to leave the check. I thought that was a good option. However I’m a control freak, so I asked him to come by when I was home. Super good work, quick & quite. He communicated each step of the job. Very happy with his services. Will definitely contact him again. It’s only a matter of time before someone walks through the screen door breaking it.

We finally decided it was time for our screen door and Craig was recommended by a credible source. I called him at 5 p.m. on a Wednesday and I had my door installed by 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. Had Craig come out and install a Clearview double screen on our french doors. They swing to the outside, so the retractables were our only option. Craig had the parts in stock, came out the next day, and obviously has done a million of these. He’s fast, clear and knows his stuff. His workmanship was perfect, the screens look great.

Craig was very personable, prompt, efficient (2 screen refurbishes in under 90 min), and very knowledgeable. He knew tips and tricks and modified my screens to control dirt accumulation inside the mechanism and alignment to facilitate smooth operation. He said he had over 20 yrs experience installing and repairing screen doors.
I bought two Hide-​A-​Screens about 7 yrs ago and after two sets of renters, my screens needed some attention. I called on a Thurs evening and he was at my house on Sat a.m. at 8. That’s service in and of itself.
These screens are top of the line. They are made by Clearview who has their own distributor network. Craig hails out of Temecula. These screens are over $ 200 each when new. If I could get like new screens that would last another 7 yrs for less than that. .. . that’s what I was looking for. Craig provided it. He also schooled me on some minor maintenance (silicone spray on the slide rails) that will extend the life even more; something I’d never done before.

My screens are awesome and slide/​look like new. He even attached a couple of ‘stickers’ to the screens at strategic heights to keep kids and pets from blasting through a closed door; the ultimate demise of my original installations.
