Came here with for dinner there was a HAIR it in there salsa. Management didn’t even come to are table. No customer service HAIR IN SALSA

Awesome Sunday brunch with friends celebrating birthdays. Had the best waitress Shannon. You’re lucky to have a waitress like this el torito.

We had a family dinner with in laws at El Torito on Friday, 2÷12÷16. Everything went very well. The server was pleasant. She checked in on us several times but not intrusive. The food was prepared in a very reasonable time. The restaurant was clean and everyone was smiling. A special thank you to the woman who was manager. She went out of her way to help keep our grandson happy. VERY appreciative for that. All in all, a very nice evening with family from out of state.

Food was great! When I called the front seemed very attentive and so charming!
As we were getting seated the hostess was super sweet!
When our server greets us she was pleasant at first, but I saw her attitude change! Service was then bad! Apparently our server was fighting with another staff member and was totally taking it out on us! Such a high school scene where gossiping amongst the servers was happening right in front of our table!
Worst part is that it was my Bday and I get this bi polar person looking angry while pouring my mimosas and plates were stacking up on our table! My fiancé was pissed and to get her attention to pick up the plates on our table he put his bowl at her register!!!
After a while her attitude started to shift and she was more attentive towards the end. I would consider coming back just because she actually was trying at the end.

I only had happy hour fare this time, all of it was fantastic and our barkeep Eliana was awesome, making great suggestions and the best Cadillac style margaritas we ever had. When we try it for a full on dinner we’ll upgrade the review and add any more earned stars ;)

Went to the brunch today. Very disappointed. Food wasn’t good and all the dishes and silverware were dirty. I sat and watched the employees sweep the floor at a table where a child sat and made a mess and they picked the dirt up with their hands. Then sat the next party at that dirty table. We are locals and won’t be going back.

We enjoy brunch here but today we left. We came in with 12 people. Most of us work in the service industry and either manage or bartend so we understand it’s not always easy to accommodate a group or size without a reservation but one of the hostesses was exceptionally unaccommodating quoting us at least an hour. I inquired about the two empty patios and sure enough the manager and other hostess said they could set a table up for us right away. Unfortunately the scowl of the hostess left a bad taste in our mouths and our group called claim jumper who was happy to seat us so we left. I hate when guests tell me to smile but she really needs to be more pleasant as the first impression on your business.

HORRIBLE!!! First off we walked in and they weren’t busy, we still had to wait for a table! They had a handful of table that were dirty with food all over them meaning no one bothered to clean them after the guests left. Then, our waitress finally comes to us, takes our order without writing it down, and my cousin asked for no lettuce and sour cream on the side, I asked her are you sure you’re going to remember? Joking, she said oh yes! Our food finally came and of course his meal was wrong! Our food was horrible! It tasted fake and didn’t even look appealing. After, we waiting for her to come to ask if we needed anything, she dropped the check off and walked away. We sat there for another 20 and she never came back. So we had to get up and go to the front to pay our bill. The manager was there and he checked us out. He noticed we weren’t leaving tip and asked how everything was, we told him not the best, the service was poor he said oh well you guys probably came at the wrong time, have a good day… NEVER RETURNING HERE AGAIN!

First off, our waiter was TOTALLY attentive. :) I ordered the sizzling fajitas which were really good. I would suggest a different way of serving them tho :) There are two hoop like handles that you want to grab to move your entrée, DO NOT touch those, HOT! Other than that, very good.

If I could give this restaurant no stars I would. This is the first time I have been at this location and it was super disappointing. I love the sizzling fajita salad and let’s just say it was lacking the sizzle and half the ingredients. The chips were cooked in rancid oil and you could smell the horrible oil in the cantina. The waitress wasn’t very accommodating and didn’t call over the manager at our request. We had to get the manager ourselves. Super disappointed and not sure if I will be back.

Went for Taco Tuesday, really busy, took awhile for us to get the food, but the service was top notch. We had our waitress, then like 4 other people came over to ask how we were doing, it was amazing, I don’t think we ever had this many people wait on us before. The food was good, but the service was better, they really take good care of you here. Of course the tortilla soup is always the best part of the meal, love that stuff. I wouldn’t mind coming here again.

On Thusday, 12 – 3, after having my family’s order messed up twice, I had begun getting frustrated with our server and requested to speak with a manager. A young man came up shortly after and had concerns about my family’s experience thus far. I was not expecting much to be done, but rather inform him of their lack luster service. Manger Giulo (So sorry if I misspelled that) reassured us he would make our visit right.
Our experience went from blah to excellent by the time we left. He was very detailed with our order and remembered every request we had. He made sure to check on us often and had our drinks filled wherever he saw them low.
Props to El Torito for having a manger who genuinely cares about his visitor’s experience. I will try to be back tomorrow with the family to give El Torito another shot, hopefully Giulo will be there.

We go there every once in awhile for the buffet or basic meal. Their margaritas are good but everything I have had has been just ok. THis last time was a bit of a bummer because we went in because of the BOGO deal that we received in an email and the hostess even mentioned it to us as we came in as she welcomed us… Very nice.
4 of us got the buffet (crazy over salted carne Asada, mushy vegetables, great corn casserole, good pollo Asada, always good beans/​rice).
The couple we were with ended up forcing us to allow them to pay for lunch, they were so sweet.
The check came and was 4 full price buffets. We reminded the waiter of the BOGO and he said «oh no one showed me a coupon». He comes back with manager and manager says, you needed to let me know that when you came in and we need to see the coupons… Oh ok, the hostess even mentioned it as we came in and said nothing about letting her know if that’s why we were here so we didnMt know we had too… no problem, we all whip our phones and show him the emails.
So the waiter comes back with check and only took off 1 buffet. Mmmmmm, I find the manager and he says «one 1 per table»… Ok, you could have told us that… it’s like we are supposed to be reading your mind … Actually it says that part on the email so .our bad, we should have read that.
We said, ok, we will separate our checks but we can’t turn back time on sitting at a different table and the server says, I can’t really do that now … So we got the manager. I explained that had the hostess or the server been clear, this would not be an issue but I admitted that that we did not read the email thoroughly or we would have know not to combine so we understand if he can not change it. He got defensive at first and then came back with our check fixed. It was all ok in the end but just know, be clear when you go in and only 2 people to a check and table to get the BOGO.

The place was pretty empty for a Saturday night… so we should have known better.
We started with the Panuchos Yucatan… we ordered 6, got three… and the corn tortillas were breaking apart. Stale. Everything was one-​note and dry. Our tortilla soup came, no flavor… very little chicken. A nice touch was the yellow squash and the zucchini… even though the zucchini was on the soggy side.
Wife got the tableside faitas salad as her main dish… the waiter prepared it way behind us which kind of took away from being able to watch him. Good view for the table behind us though… they seemed to enjoy it. When she got it, she did enjoy it.
I ordered the Chile Colorado… typically, Chile Colorado is chunks of beef in a deep red sauce… lots of sauce. They use (dry) shredded pork with some hint of a brown sauce on it and a little cup of sauce. No heat, not much flavor and the flour tortillas that I ordered came as those same dry corn tortillas.
With so many amazing authentic Mexican restaurants here in the area… we’ll never go back.

I am at this El Torito most Tuesday nights with my husband and friends. Sure, the tacos are delicious (the carnitas are the best out of the three choices) and okay, the free chips and salsa are great (always fresh, crispy and flavorful) but I would have to say that it is the incredible customer service delivered by Shannan that keeps us coming back week after week.
Shannan memorized our special requests and orders by the second week we came in for Taco Tuesday which is impressive because, trust me, my friends and I are some needy folks. Even with every table at her section filled, she manages to regularly check in on us. We have never needed to ask for anything since our first visit because she reads our minds and magically makes whatever we want appear on the table… AND she does it all quickly and happily.
Shannan is a rarity these days. If everybody provided the same customer service everywhere else, the world would be a much better place. After my hour and a half commute from work, her smile (and her frequent chip and salsa refill) is just want I need. If you need help deciding where to have dinner one night, come to this El Torito and ask to be seated in Shannan’s section. She is popular but definitely worth the few extra minutes of wait time.

We had a great time last night celebrating my daughter’s 21^st birthday. Thanks to our server she was awesome and made our night more enjoyable!!! We were a party of 12. Our server kept our glasses full and was quick to tend to our needs. I was very impress with her service and because of her I’m giving 5 rating. (The food was good too) Unfortunately I didn’t get her name but I would definitely ask for her to be our server again. Thank you everyone else at El Toritos who sang to my daughter it was a night for her to remember!!!

I ordered the 1800 Fajitas (they didn’t flame it at my table like they normally do) was okay but the steak was very dry and the onions were almost burnt.
I asked for corn tortillas and they tasted like they were microwaved so I asked for new tortillas on the oven top and they brought me the same thing, they literally broke as soon as I tried to make a taco. Ended up just eating the shrimp and chicken…
The corona micheladas are very good though…

My family and I have always had great experiences at this location. We love going for happy hour and their awesome specials.
However, we actually left the restaurant today because of the filth of the dishes. Like usual, we were seated quickly and our server was great. He brought us our drinks and took our order. As I went to take a drink, I noticed several pieces of gunk stuck to the inside of the glass. The waiter brought me a new glass, with more gunk stuck in it. After further inspection, there was food stuck in all of our cups (there were four of us) as well as several dirty utensils. The table next to us heard our comments and told us she had to ask for a new menu and clean silverware as well.
Due to the filth, we ended up leaving without our lunch. Hopefully they get a new dishwasher, or practice cleaner behavior so that we can return again!

We just visited El Torito. It was excellent. Service, food and atmosphere were all great.

Late post– my husband and I went to El Torito for Cinco de mayo to have a few drinks and an appetizer
I was still still happy hour at the time we got there
The waitress we had was new so she didn’t know what the specials were of the top of her head, she was reading them for a paper.
The happy hour specials consisted of wings, quesadillas, nacho’s wings the normal appetizer stuff– for $ 3.00 off the price… BUT it was 2 items that were excluded from the special. It was the guacamole and the street taco’s that weren’t in special. I was like really-​wait the taco’s yes the taco’s!!!
So we thought that was weird but ok– so we ordered the chicken nacho’s and shared. The chips were burnt and soggy. There was a good amount of chicken and beans– but the overall dish was soggy
For drinks I had a white sangria– which consisted of some white wine a slice of orange and a piece of apple cut up… Not what I was expecting for a sangria.
My husband had a lager, because the beer he wanted was out.
Overall– we’ve given this place a few chances, but this was the last– it’s just not up to par for an Mexican restaurant– so we will not be returning again.
