Not friendly! Not informative. Wines fair but nothing to write home about. Learned nothing about the wines. Was dead, no one was in there on a Saturday — they probably knew something we didn’t. Not sure why this was rated a $ 4.

loved this little tasting room in old town. got to know jennifer, who was running the room on saturday afternoon is was a hoot to hang with. charlie(the owner) came in later in the afternoon and was a lot of fun to talk to. lots of knowledge here, a really fun time, great décor, a warm vibe and RAD wines.

I give this place 5 stars because… it wasn’t fancy and over the top, but the wines were spot on. I felt like I was back home where the company was more important than anything else. The woman who helped us was lovely, the tasting wasn’t too expensive, and the wines were just really good. I just felt comfortable, relaxed, and at home. Plus they let us bring our puppy in. Thanks for the experience! Would go back and drink more when we have more time next visit.

Most awkward wine tasting experience ever. Went in while waiting for a table at a local restaurant. We were the only customers(first clue!) and it was the most uncomfortable wine tasting experience I have ever had(and we wine taste a lot!). There was no enthusiasm for the product… Just«Here’s your wine» and no explanation. It was obvious we were intruding and terribly uncomfortable. Stay away! There are too many enjoyable wineries in Temecula to waste your time here.

Great service! Jennifer was attentive and so nice! I’ve been a fan of Curry wines since 2010! Great atmosphere and they even had a football game on. Very relaxed even during a busy weekend!

Meh. Came here yesterday with a girlfriend and it was slow. Maybe people were watching the Chargers game(at least they were here!) or they didn’t want to deal with the gloomy weather. Place is pretty chill and has a home feeling(someone got it right when they said it’s like going inside a home constructed in the 1940s and it feels like your grandma’s house). There’s outdoor seating and looks like they can have live music on some nights? Anywho when we visited there was another couple on their way out. We opted for the four tasting(2 red, 2 white) for $ 10. The woman pouring just poured and didn’t explain anything or even show us the bottle. Really we were just guessing on what we were drinking: P I had to ask to look at the bottle. UMNO. I would appreciate some information on the wine I am drinking. I give them three stars though because I enjoyed the two reds we sampled — cabernet franc and the franc syrah blend. I wasn’t thrilled with the whites. Probably a better place to visit with live music and not when there’s Sunday football, unless of course you’re a fan.

This was our first time here today after having lunch across the street at Palumbos. We thought we would stop in and have a tasting and I must say the wine was quite good. There was only one thing that was not tolerable. The live entertainment. I won’t elaborate. Lets just say it was the same caliber(same act) as a review we posted regarding another Temecula Winery in January this year. Sigh…

What a great find! a wonderful tasting room, delicious wine, and the owner, Charles, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Syrah was our favorite. Some map programs still show them at their old site, but the address in Unilocal is correct, so treat yourself and stop on by. He told us they also have some great live bands on the weekends. Next time we go through we are going to order food from across the street and enjoy it with our wine! Cheers!

Customer service was horrible. We walked in and three people were sitting around watching football. We had to ask if they were even open. Should have been a sign to turn around and walk away. The lady barely talked to us and was on the phone having a personal phone call. Not discreet about it at all. She even poured some of the wine while on the phone. She finally got off the phone when the owner/wine maker showed up and he couldn’t ring up our tab. We had to leave and headed back to Villa Di Calabro where customer service actually exists.

Saturday evening, we stopped at the Curry tasting room in Old Town. We intended to do a tasting, but enjoyed our experience so much, we stayed the entire evening. The tasting room was converted from a home constructed in the 1940’s. It reminded me of visiting my grandmother, not at all ostentatious, giving me a warm sense of comfort and belonging. Charlie, the winemaker, was friendly, personable and informative. His wines are wonderful! In a very short time, I felt like I have known the owners, Chris and Richard, most of my life.

Always have so much fun at Curry“s tasting room. They have great wine and live entertainment on Saturday nights. The Syrah is especially tasty! They have a wonderful patio area. You can bring your own food and have a nice picnic!

We stumbled in through Curry’s back door a few days ago and are glad we decided to check it out. Charlie made us feel welcomed and we enjoyed the wine so much we polished it off in our room that evening! He is a great story teller and very entertaining. Will be in again next time we are in the area.

Stopped in for a quick glass of wine the other night and was pleasantly surprised by the cute little home-like décor of this place. Charlie was relaxed and made us feel at home in the space. Offered us a tasting for $ 10 or glass for $ 8. We opted for the glass however he allowed us to taste a couple before deciding on our glass. Great wines, great company! Also, he had great ideas of expanding the back patio area which I think will be fantastic when it all happens!

This place is great! The winemaker poured our tastings and even sat down with us and told us about winemaking. We bought a bottle of the sauvignon blanc but the Zinfandel and cab were also great. We will definitely go back!

There’s a reason people continue rating Curry Vineyards with 5 stars… great wine, reasonable prices and wonderful people! The new location is so comfortable and has much more room to relax inside and out. Charlie, Michelle and and their staff know just how to make you feel at home, all without being pushy.(Not an easy feat in the Temecula valley!) My favorite is their Cabernet Franc, however each of their varieties are delicious, even for the most picky palate! If you live in the area or are just driving through… STOPBY and pick up a few bottles, you’ll be glad you did!

Loved the 2012 Chardonnay. The new location is off the main strip, but not too out of the way. Cheryl is great and very helpful. She told us about her brother’s story with the winery. Charlie is the vintner and owner. The atmosphere at the tasting room is homey and fun.
