Not a huge fan of their desserts. I find them pricey and the quality not all that, also not the freshest depending on what you get and when you come here. Pass on the cupcakes, I usually just come here for the coffee. Their blended drinks are pretty good, descent quality and very filling, the highlight of our trip here. Service is nice, but pretty slow, nice addition to the area.

Finally made it here after much hype. Where do I start. The décor is nice, roomy and well lit. The pasty cases are clean and bright. Presentation of everything is good too. The taste, well… Umm… Not good. The cupcakes are kept refrigerated, but the temp is too cold. Make the cupcakes hard. Not a lot of flavor either and don’t expect them to be moist either. We also got a couple cannolis, why not right? Freshly filled, nice touch, still missing flavor though. The girls at the counter were nice and inviting, can’t blame them unless they are the chefs too. I won’t come back unless Nothing Bundt cakes closed their doors. Oh wait, or Truly Madly Sweetly closes too. Heck, Vons will have to stop selling their apple pie before I come back.

My husband and I stopped by this bakery and decided to try a cupcake and a pastry and both tasted old, and dry. The lady offered to microwave the cupcake because they use«real butter» for the frosting which makes it hard… More like your cupcakes are days old rather than baked fresh that morning… Maybe thats what we get for going on a random Thursday? We won’t be coming back

If everything tastes old, it’s because it is old. Bringing day old leftovers from Riverside to Temecula and charging full prices. There are an abundant of local places that serve fresh baked goods, and I implore you to try any of them.

I really wanted to like this place. I tried them twice, but the pasteries just taste stale. The first time we bought two cupcakes, both were sadly dry and we ended up tossing them. Second was cookies, that tasted old too. I don’t like bad mouthing business, hopefully they can improve.

Only came in today to give this place a second chance. 1st visit several months ago was mediocre at best. Way understaffed, place was dirty everywhere. Tables, chairs etc. My husband had the worst dry brownie ever. When the guy put my bear claw in microwave to warm it up you could hear the clunk of a hard pastry hitting the microwave turn table. The bear claws are not even in the cooler section. Wonder how old this bear claw was. Ordered two cups of coffee with the pastries and the guy forgot all about getting them for us. Never coming back here.

Earlier this week, my wife & I were shopping in Temecula & noticed this bakery. Based on its French name, we thought they may have beignets & that we could be in for a rare treat. Sorry to report, beignets were not on the menu! We settled for two coffees, along with a cinnamon roll for my wife & a plain croissant for me. Unfortunately, my wife found the cinnamon roll too sweet, and my croissant was unremarkable. On the plus side, this bakery appeared clean & very roomy inside & the staff was very welcoming. However, I don’t see a return visit to this place anytime soon.

Oh goodness, where do I start. This place is the worst, I had to return my dry hard cupcake and the manager argued with me. Like what? He said he knew what he was talking about, I was so flabbergasted. It was hard.

I experienced the same thing as others have been saying: dry cupcakes, hard frosting and hard filling. We desperately need a good bakery in Temecula! Hoping they’ll step it up after seeing consistent reviews of dry, icky cupcakes.

Awesome, awesome awesome and affordable with great taste. Took the family for a quick lunch and ended up receiving much more. Well worth it highly recommended. Oh and the plus if you spend $ 25 and up you get a free loaf of bread of your choice. Delicious…

I got a cake made for my son’s 1st birthday and it was delicious My overall experience was exceptional from the initial visit with the baker(Ashley) where she sketched out my vision, to her making it a reality! All my guest were raving about how delicious it was and I couldn’t agree more!

I was so excited. I used to go to the original in Riverside. So yummy. Temecula? Not so much. I bought a Salted Caramel Cupcake. HARDAS A ROCK. I ask the young lady why. Her answer? I can put it in the microwave. Excuse me, but a CUPCAKE with frosting in the microwave would turn in to a sloppy mess. She says, it’s all baked in Riverside and brought here. So ACTUALLY, THIS store is just a café and NOT a bakery. So, go to the original on Van Buren. I do not recommend cold hard cupcakes.

Love this place! You must try the iced coffee with cream! * We go for the… Chocolate macaroons(6 yr olds favorite) Cupcakes and puff pastries. And coffee! Although there’s so much to choose from! I tried the snickerdoodle which was way too sweet! I have yet to try something that makes me fall in love. But until then, I definitely recommended this place!

I just stopped in to get some cupcakes for a late night treat and unfortunately, I should have just went to Albertsons. First, the frosting was so hard on all 3 cupcakes, I could literally peel the frosting off the top and it looked like a hockey puck. On to the cake itself, again, all 3 were so incredibly dry, dense and oddly enough, really salty. I probably could have thrown the cupcake against a wall and it would have kept it’s shape. Now, if only one of the cakes was like this I could understand, but all 3 of them? Kind of ridiculous. I rarely hate on any kind of cupcake, because after all they are(usually) sweet and delicious(and hard to really mess up), but after this experience I hate to say it but I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I’d rather make the drive to So Good Gluten Free Bakery.

My wife saw and ad that said free loaf of bread with $ 15 purchase. Since we were going to Costco anyway and the bakery is right across the street, we stopped in first to try lunch there. First of all when my wife ordered a turkey sandwich they were out of turkey. So she ordered an Italian deli meat sandwich, tomato soup and it came with a cookie since it was a combo. I had a ham and Swiss and coffee. For starters, my wife didn’t care much for the tomato soup, she said it had a flavor like smoked sausage. They call it «tomato basil bisque» or something like that. The bits of red and green bell pepper were not a good addition and she didn’t finish it. The sandwich was okay. The chocolate chip cookie was grainy and flavorless. Took two bites and left the rest. My ham and cheese sandwich was okay but the bread was really thick and dry. I should have asked what bread they use or told them to use Squaw bread or something like that. I had to take the top piece of monster roll off so it wouldn’t be mostly bread. We had hopes that his was going to be a great neighborhood bakery but turns out, not really. The free loaf we chose was a rye and it was the last one. I was told they only get the rye brought in two days a week. Excuse me? A bakery that doesn’t bake bread in house? Give me Great Harvest Bakery any day, for better cookies and desserts too, even if their selection is smaller. We will not be back to this pastry store.

Temecula location Was greeted upon walk in with a very friendly voice. After scoping out everything in the cases I really wanted some french macaroons but they wanted almost $ 4 for one! I selected two cupcakes and couldn’t wait to get home and eat one. Boy was I disappointed when I sat down with fork in hand to eat my strawberry cupcake, the frosting was hard and the cupcake was dry… AND the frosting tasted like maple syrup…(Gross) With all the cupcake places in town, I will not be back to this place. One star because of the awesome greeting, all went south from there… I see other reviews about dryness… Should have saved a trip and $ and went elsewhere. Can’t see this place being around very long.

Okay, the wife and I have been back a few times now, always in search of dessert. The wife has a sweet tooth and I don’t usually order anything for myself. Lucky for me, she likes to share. So far we’ve had a handful of mediocre cookies and dried out cakes that must’ve been sitting a few days. Each time we’ve asked for recommendations from the staff with hopes they’d turn us on to the best stuff. Nope! Instead the talk up the oldest goods like they’re to die for and we walk away disappointed. Okay, they were right once. The cashier recommended the mixed fruit tart. That damn thing was $ 22 but it was pretty delicious. Even my gourmet baker of a sister liked it! On the bright side, the service is always friendly and if you spend more than $ 30, you also get to choose a free loaf of bread from the table. I chose the squaw and it was fairly stale. But hey, free is free! Am I right?! Aside from the baked goods, we tried the Mexican Mocha. It was lukewarm and didn’t taste anything like Mexican Mocha. But hey, the wife sucked it up and drank it anyway.

Ordered my daughters birthday cake here. Couldn’t complain about the service since the cake was exactly as we ordered. When we picked up the cake, it was beautiful and just as ordered and on the day and time promised. So, why only four stars? Although the hr cake was very good, they have a limited amount of flavors for the cake and the frosting. Really would have liked to have a raspberry filling inside but it wasn’t available, also, we were told there wasn’t any way to get any raspberry. Other than that, overall, I would give this place 4.5 stars, but Unilocal doesn’t allow ½ stars.

I welcome any bakery where I live. Especially if it has as many treat options as this one. We were welcomed by warm greetings and absolutely no line. It’s only the second day its been open, so I wasnt sure what to expect. I think a lot of people are unaware that Crème De La Crème even exists in Temecula. The size is pretty good inside and the selection is vast. I saw cookies, cupcakes, pastries, tarts, macaroons, cream puffs, tiramisu, and eclairs. They even sell coffee and teas, as well as sandwiches that looked pretty good. I got a raspberry lemon bar and a mini snickerdoodle cupcake. The bar was soft and buttery but the jelly(raspberry part) stuck to the paper bag the employee put it in. I also tasted coconut in the dough which I hate but I still managed to finish it. The cupcake was great besides being cold and having a bit too much frosting for my liking. We were offered a few free treats which was a nice surprise. One of the supervisors came over and introduced herself too. I cant wait to try out some more items.
