This review is for the grille only as we have dined at the lounge and had it been an option we would have taken it. We came on a Friday, and while our server was very friendly it was apparent they were short staffed. It took 20 minutes to get our order put in, another half hour to get our food and then the bread and meat on my sandwich came out burnt. After sending it back it took another 20 minutes to get our check. Thankfully my husband had cash because we were able to leave 15 minutes after they left the check while waiting for them to come pick up our card. Needless to say we will not be back anytime soon!

Sunday brunch review: Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE ayce/aycd brunch and hands down this is the BEST brunch I’ve ever had. Food was beyond delicious and the best part was I didn’t have to work for my seafood. Crab legs were already cracked, shrimps peeled and they had a man shucking the oysters in front of you! There is outdoor seating and at first I was a little disappointed there wasn’t anymore seating outside bc the view is amazing. However once we were led to our table in the«barrel room» I was glad we were seated inside. So if u just want to do the the brunch its $ 36 but if u add the wine buffet its $ 46. Sure it’s a little pricy but trust me it’s well worth it esp if you’re one to pay 50.00 bucks for a Vegas buffet. For the wine you don’t get the generic Cordell champagne you actually get to try a selection of their wine. My favorite was the peach Bellini. Btw Terri our server was awesome! We will def be back!

Talk about fancy! Wine, cheese, steak, burgers… What more could I ask for? On a Saturday, early afternoon, we were told it would take an hour and 45 minutes to seat seven people. When we asked about sitting in two separate tables nearby, we were immediately seated. So just keep that in mind, party people! After wine tasting at Wilson Creek Winery, I was SO full, and I could only eat a bit of food. Such a shame, because it was delicious! The masterpieces I tried were California Farmstead Cheese Tasting, Bavette Steak, Guerry’s Reuben, and the chocolate molten lava cake(birthday freebie)! Some meals do come with fries or chips. First thing’s first! Don’t you dare skip out on their Kennebic frites! They take three days to make, because they brine it! I didn’t even know people did that to fries. The fries and the chips were so satisfying, and even though I was bloated, I did not want to stop snacking on these little guys. You can get these as a side with the Bavette Steak. The California Farmstead Cheese Tasting($ 16) is basically a sample platter of the different cheeses. It also comes with grapes, pine nut brittle(sweet and yum!), honey comb, and sourdough baguette. This is GREAT to match up with wine. We had seven people and it was a great starter for our meal. The Bavette Steak($ 25) was basically a marinated flank steak topped off with scallion, and worcestershire butter. The sides include a Citrus Arugula Salad and Kennebec frites. If you’re feeling like meat, I highly recommend this order! Guerry’s Reuben($ 16) is a marble rye sandwich with angus corned beef, thousand island, swiss cheese. The meat is chewy enough to swallow and the marble rye is one of my favorite breads. Birthday? Let them know! When we went, our birthday boy got a lava cake on the house! It didn’t ooze out the way we wanted it to, but it was still heaven on a plate. All in all, this place is expensive, but it’s what you would expect for a fancy little restaurant located beside a winery. They even served us the wine that we had bought already from the tasting… One bottle wasn’t cold, but they were happy to switch it out for us! Great customer service!

We were skeptical when we first started our way to this restaurant. I mean, sometimes it’s hit and miss when you have a restaurant off of a hotel. I compared them having a restaurant off of a winery in the same way. Well, to our amazement and surprise we were delighted that the restaurant was absolutely AMAZING!!! From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, we were in a land of deliciousness! The lovely patio seating(which just happens to overlook the beautiful vineyard which comes up to the tables), the lighting, the music, food, and the incredible servers were all what made this place somewhere that we, no doubt, plan to return to.(Possibly even for lunch again tomorrow!) Prices were fair. We even got a 10% coupon given to us by the visitor center in down town Temecula. Their menu is seasonal and ever changing and we were told that their amazing chef has never repeated any item. Ever. Impressive indeed! I had the turkey wrap and my husband had a pork tenderloin sandwich(which was the special). My wrap had some sort of lemon pesto sauce on it that made my taste buds crazy happy! It was so fresh and made me feel like I was tasting spring time. My husband’s sandwich was delicious. It had an amazing tomato spread with blue cheese crumbles. I mean, wow huh?!? It was amazing and we will be back! (The winery was not our favorite though. The white Merlot was our favorite but we didn’t end up buying a bottle.) Enjoy!

Not a great first experience. My husband and I were charged $ 60 something for an omelette we each had. We walked in the open door asking for where we could find food as it was our first time at Wilson Creek. A sign somewhere said they were closed but as the door was open we thought maybe they could direct is to where we COULD find food. The chef was making omelettes for some employees and said I’m sorry we are closed but as I am still here I will make you guys an omelette if you like. I have to say he was very nice and helpful. Little did we know that quick little omelette was going to cost us sixty something. We sat down and found ourselves some silverware and about 15 minutes later a guy appeared with a check. That was all we saw of him. We received no service, no full buffet, only we were charged otherwise. I understand that we walked in right after they closed but if someone would have just told us sorry we can’t help you or sure we can make you can omelette for $ 32 each then we would have gone elsewhere. It was our first wedding anniversary and we had a great day of horseback riding and wine tasting. We liked it so much that we joined the wine club and spent hundreds and then our friends joined also. The experience at the restaurant didn’t stop there. I called to speak to a manager today because it didn’t sit well with me what we paid for what we received and he was no help at all. I’m a big Sunday brunch lover so I am not shy to pay a lot for a good one only that’s not what we got. It wasn’t what we expected to receive either otherwise we would have shown up earlier. We each got an omelette so we expected to pay for OMELETTES!!! Thumbs down to management. I would have been happy if he would have adjusted the credit card payment to reflect what we got and then we would return again happy. We shall go somewhere else to eat next time!

I’ve always loved Wilson’s Creek Winery. Great wine and a great atmosphere. I almost gave a bad review today because the hostess with the long blond hair at the Creek side Grill was so rude. My husband and I came in today about 12:30 with our toddler. Her EXACT words to us were, «Well, it’s an hour and a half wait. So by the time you get in it will be 2:30 P.M. And our grill closes at 3:30 P.M.» I’ve worked at a restaurant before and we sat people 10 min till close. She followed that comment up with«you could just go eat at the Creek side Lounge». Ummmmm it’s about 3 ½ hours before your close time and you’re trying to get me not to eat here? I know there is a wait and I didn’t complain about it. Unless the time frame has closed for a seat I don’t need your opinion on where I should eat. Thank goodness for your server Jeff. He was excellent and saved the day!!! He was very kind and an excellent server. Thanks Jeff!

Had a snack after wine tasting. The focaccia with butter, olive oil, and tapenade. A great snack to sop up the wine from tastings. The olive oil is some of the best I have tried.

By the time my husband and I arrived at Wilson Creek we were wined-out so we decided to eat at the restaurant instead of doing some wine tasting. We arrived about 3:45 and the restaurant closed at 4:00. There were at least ten other groups still in the restaurant. The hostess was friendly. She seated us immediately however realized the table had crumbs on the table cloth. She apologized and moved us to a new table. We sat at the front entrance which provided great views of the winery’s beautiful grounds. Our waitress provided good service however she was very abrupt as if irritated that we came so close to closing. The soup of the day was a potato soup which had a unique flavor. It was not visually appealing but tasted great. My husband and I shared the Rueben Sandwich with a salad as our side. It was split for us which was nice. The salad and sandwich were both very tasty! I would love to come back and try something else from the menu.

this review is for their Sunday brunch only… overall three stars. LOVED the variety of the food. omelette station is awesome, that’s the first thing i got! the cocktail shrimps were good, the oysters were SURPRISINGLY fresh and tasty — i was so surprised on their quality of the oysters, i had 7 total! YUM!(well, cleanness issue to follow)… waffle was very crispy as they freshly make them by batches, ham was very smokey and really yum(although the turkey was relatively dry), even the fried chicken was good! the cooked food was alright, i had the short rib which was very flavorful but kind of dry, the cream of broccoli was good, the quiches was bland. overall very clean — until i see a crawling worm on my plate. the plate consists of 5 oysters, some cocktail shrimps, ham and short rib. i sat down and was getting ready to eat and i saw ‘it’… i don’t know where it came from but it crawl from underneath the oysters and moved towards the other side of the plate… i couldn’t get it out cus i didn’t have paper napkins, so i decided to sacrifice one of my shrimp to get ‘it’ out of my plate. and waved my waitress over… she said ‘omg that’s horrible isn’t it?’ and use her napkins and grabbed the whole thing and put both the shrimp and IT into her apron… and then… she left. i understand how raw foods are, and have had a ton of raw stuff everywhere, but i’ve never encountered one moving creature of something that i didn’t order on my plate. i managed to still ate half of the stuff on the plate cus i don’t want it to go waste… i don’t know. IT was very much alive! what if there were more than one inside the oysters i ate? we would never know. the deserts selections were awesome too, ONLYIF i knew that they would run out of macaroons around 1230pm and when i asked about it since i saw a lot of them at 11am, i just got a response of ‘oh sorry we are out’… the brunch isn’t over till 3pm! later when i was about to leave around 1, i noticed that the oysters were out too. i guess the trick is to make reservation, and get there early, and grab the popular stuff first? i’ll do that next time if i go back again, while examing every piece of oysters i get!

5 stars for food… I mean really chicken and waffles on the buffet… Don’t skip the bread salad either! Unlimited bubbly. Please ask for the sparkling sangria and cuvée mixed. You will not be disappointed. If it was possible to give an additional star for service Traci T would get it. Great suggestions, great service, great food. It was the most memorable experience of my weekend.

Sunday brunch here was amazing. The service from Traci T was awesome. She went above and beyond answering all our questions and giving us wine recommendations. I would not have joined the wine club without her assistance. The food was not your typical brunch with lamb chops, fried chicken, omelette station, waffles and a chocolate fountain to name a few. Oh and not to mention that the sparkling sangria was the best sparking wine I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back! Thank you Traci for making our trip so memorable

Usually enjoy this winery, but was not super impressed with the restaurant. Waited a while for our food, water refills and the check. Was going to order dessert, but it took too long. Also, it was honestly overpriced for what we got.

Located inside the Wilson Creek Winery, Sunday Bubble Brunch Buffey was a little above OKAY lol. It’s 31.95 pp without chardonnay or $ 39.95 pp with. Food choices were limited, but each one was pretty tasty. This buffet is not a typical asian buffet, definitely more upscale. They served roasted potatoes, quiche, smoked bacon, ravioli, pork loin, turkey breast, fried chicken, and seafood like shrimp, oysters, and some crab legs. They also make omelet for u and u get to choose the ingredients. My fave was the arugula salad with peach and raspberries which paired well with bacon and pork loin. What i also loved here was some food were gluten-free, i appreciated those. Desserts were AMAZING! I think I enjoyed the desserts alot more too haha. There were so many choices for desserts, almost more than the actual main dishes lol. I didnt get to try any drinks coz my fam and i planned for wine tasting afterwards. Service was good too, our guy server never forgot about us and will always come to check and make sure we have waitern, and to take any empty plates. Overall, it was a good experience here…1 star off is just coz it was a bit pricey for the amount of selection they had on buffet.

Pros: Service was good. Cons: We ordered 3 kids meals — 2 that had chips as a side. They came out covered heavily in a sweet and spicy chili powder that the kids could not enjoy! The waitress stated the chef was«interesting» for doing that and did not have any plain chips made. Cmon — why give a child spicy food? Also, ordered the kids cheese pizza — it tasted like a microwaveable 99-cent pizza. I stopped feeding it to my son after my husband expressed the disgusting flavor. The lamb cheek entrée was more like a appetizer. For 23 dollars I could have fed my family at In&Out and gotten higher quality food. No flavor or seasoning. The special today was hangar steak with Parmesan Garlic pomfrites — no flavor, no seasoning, absolutely not worth it. Soup was a chicken tortilla — it had the texture of vomit and was cold upon table arrival. The salmon and lentils dish was very bland and boring. Overall — highly overpriced and food was horrendous. Your wine and venue is the only thing saving you at this point.

Meh. I wasn’t impressed. The almond champagne is absolutely delicious! But for the price you pay, the food isn’t that great. I had ordered side of pasta with my entrée but they put potato chips instead. They did end up bringing me my pasta though so I got to have both. The pasta is delicious and so are the chips. But the main dish wasn’t that great. I got the Pig Burger, nothing that great. My boyfriend got the steak and potatoes. Potatoes were delicious. I didn’t try the steak but my boyfriend wasn’t impressed by that either. Remember that this restaurant has seasonal menus so what you see on Unilocal may not be available when you go. I was super disappointed about this as everything I had originally seen on here that I wanted wasn’t available. Server was nice and service was pretty quick!

Must have been an off day. Must have been a bad bottle of Chardonnay. The $ 20 gnocchi lunch was terrible. The cook was too heavy handed on the spices and the flavors were competing with each other, not complimenting the dish. There were only 7 pieces of gnocchi, a few small leafs of chard, 4 pea pods and some shaved cheese on top that clashed with the other ingredients. The service was really slow coming out of the kitchen and the burger was warm, barely hot and the lettuce was wilted while it probably sat under a warming lamp for a half hour to be served. Sorry, but for a $ 66 lunch for two, and I do not drink alcohol, I doubt if we will be back again soon. My husband had a glass of champagne and a mimosa, so that brought it up a bit, but seemed very pricey today. I changed it from 2 to 1 star.
