I LOVE this restaurant! Although the location is a little awkward, the food is exquisite. Their bread is perfectly cooked so that it has a crunchy shell yet still maintains a soft core. Their meats are sliced thin enough that when stacked in a sandwich you can actually wrap your mouth around it. And unlike large chains, they actually have cheddar cheese as an option. I am so happy I found this little gem, but I am now addicted!

I LOVE a REAL Deli Sandwich! I finally found the sandwich that I like. GOODBYE SUBWAY! I work next door at the BBQ and we love smelling their FRESH breads cooking. They have the perfect sandwich figured out for you! I am glad that I went there!

Benny’s rules. All there is to it. Especially the club but the sausage is good too. Happy to recommend them. I just can’t imagine passing them up in favor of Subway. Never gonna happen.

Honestly I think this is worst place to go for a decent sub sandwich. The Benny Special left me very disappointed, with extremely thin meat slices and bread that was obviously not fresh. There was no flavor at all even with mustard and oil vinegar. I got a large sandwich and it was very small with a big price. I came here reading the Unilocal reviews and everyone said «Better than Jersey Mikes». I can honestly say that it’s not better. even Subway is better than Benny’s. Don’t go here unless you want a unsatisfying sandwich

Pretty good! Definitely better than jersey mikes. Good quality turkey no fillers like subway. Not many places have squaw bread which was delicious. Regular sub is very filling. Friendly staff. Definitely will come again.

Boyfriend just brought me the California Turkey sandwich (to/​go) and it was SO good, and wasn’t soggy at all (which was great because other places often result in soggy sammys if you have to wait more than 10minutes). My whole family kept begging me for more bites!
Amazing quality and fresh ingredients. Also liked that the red onions were sliced Super thin so that they’re not overpowering. A little one the pricy side but totally worth it. Plus who needs to eat a FULL footlong anyway? The regular size was plenty. Thanks!

Just ate here for the first time and man was it good !! I got the Benny’s italian so much flavor and it was filling for sure. Highly recommend Benny’s if your craving a good sandwich

I anticipated the sandwiches to change my life… They were good but nothing spectacular, I will say they do not have a public restroom which to me is a issue. I had to walk to CVS to use the restroom which was out of my way and took time away from my lunch. They are good with customer service.

so glad they opened a second location right near my house (: the benny’s special on white is my go-​to, but i’ve never had a bad sandwich here. there’s yummy chips, cookies and drinks to choose from for a little something extra, and the staff is always super friendly. recommend!

Not impressed at all! I prefer Jersey Mikes than this joint. Better yet, Subways taste 2x better & cost cheaper. This joint seems to be very stingy with adding quality meat in the subs. The sub was too dry & ham taste old. «Still looking for the perfect deli & pizza!»

From the Unilocal reviews we thought we were walking into some amazing sub shop. It’s like a less generic Subway. The bread was good and the sandwiches were fine, albeit kind of small. Their selection of chips is dismal.
The service was excellent as the people behind the counter were very nice and friendly.
There has got to be better, more interesting, sandwich shops in Temecuala…

I have always gone to the Murrieta location however I thought I would give the Temecula one a shot today since it was on my way. Well I’m glad I did because Benny the owner actually made my sandwich and it was BOMB! He is a very nice guy and was happy to help. I’ll definitely be back!

I really like their bread. The size is right, and the bread is crusty and chewy, and perfectly suited for their sandwiches.
The ham that they use is fantastic, and I highly recommend the Ham and Swiss. The ham has just the right sweetness and smokiness. I like Benny’s a bit better than Jersey Mike’s, though they’re good, too. They’re busy around lunchtime, but I go there anyways because the service is great and I like the food.

This was my third visit to Benny’s and each time I’ve noticed a change in the sandwich. The first time was really good, lots of meat and great flavors. The second time was still pretty good, although I noticed that there was less meat. Today’s sandwich was a real disappointment, it seemed like I was eating a dough sandwich. I asked for the bread to be toasted but it was so doughy, I’m not sure the toaster was working. There were two very thin slivers of meat that I couldn’t even taste. Perhaps today was just not a good day, although I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Good sandwich and tasty bread. Ignore bad reviews of bad service. New staff and alway friendly when we walked in. Come check them out and let the sandwiches speak for themselves.
We ordered the club and and were very pleased. Way better than Subway’s offering.
