Loved my experience hoping around the wineries in Temecula… They are all so beautiful. Bel Vino, however, totally stood out to me. My fiancé and I were looking for a place to become members of, and this one had everything we were looking for… and at a great price too! I’m totally looking forward to coming back here in the spring/summer to enjoy the beautiful outdoors with a glass of red wine.

Some good photo ops at this place and a huge outdoor grassy area that had live music when our tour stopped at this location. Asiiiide from that, I wasn’t too impressed with the tastings here. Staff was hit or miss so it didn’t leave me pining for a future visit. If anything, stop in to take a picture in the bucket against their backdrop, you can pretend you’re Lucy(from I Love Lucy) and do the grape-stomping dance or ‘pretend’ you fell in the bucket, of course posing with your wine glass in hand ;) Otherwise, this place is not too memorable.

brides — do not get married here!!! after finally speaking with debbie at bel vino who stated she was out of the country at the time of my wedding and claimed to be shocked by the treatment i received and the horrible service at the venue, she said she wanted to make it right and would call me back by the end of the next day at the latest. that was 2 weeks ago! i have called her multiple times and get the run around each time i try to reach her. how stupid of me to even think someone there would actually stand by their word!!! don’t make the same mistake i did. do not trust them and do not get married here! worst mistake i ever made and i paid dearly for it

The customer service from Matt and Danny were Awesome!!! I was in town this past weekend for a birthday celebration with my girls. We had a blast, just today we were talking about how we have bought 2004 Prima(Port Wine) — one of the best, especially paired with the chef’s blue cheese. Also, the photos they captured of us, definitely showed the good time we were having. I highly recommend this place — the live band was great the view was breathless, great site to have a picnic or enjoy the restaurant. They do offer a 2 for 1 coupon on City of Temecula website. Thank you Bel Vino for a great time and we will be back to visit!

What a let down. Back in 2013 we signed up for the membership, they had good wines, good environment, and really delicious food. The situation changed, and we could not afford the club membership and more, but we always kept the winery in the back of our minds. Last weekend we went back(happily) for lunch, and what a disappointment it was! They definitely don’t have the same chef any more. All the food is cooked outside in a grilling area. Nothing wrong with that, except the fact that the food was tasteless and expensive. The sides(coleslaw and potato salad) were served in a little Styrofoam cup with the lid on, those types that were previously made and stored in the refrigerator. Now they also sell beer. Not craft beer, Coors. There was a band playing. Crappy graduation song type of band playing. They expanded the tasting area, and got rid of the inside seating. It tends to be pretty hot outside. And last but not least, they closed the bathrooms inside, and now you have to galantly use the restroom facility inside a trailer parked behind the grill. It became white trash wine party. Never ever coming back.

We’ve been members for a few years and the winery has upgraded, which is ok. There has been times where they forgot about you, but comped us. The food it outstanding tho.

Came here on a Saturday around noon. Not too crowded. A band was setting up. We had a 2 for 1 tasting coupon we printed out and the totally came to $ 17. The prices of the bottles were very reasonable and pretty tasty reds. I really enjoyed the 2014 white merlot

We had a real good time here. Our server started off a little stale and short, pouring our wines without much in the way of explanation, perhaps his soul a little destroyed for the day at the several different super-drunk hen’s parties that were there at the same time we were, but once we asked a few questions and he could see we were actually interested in talking about the wine(not just drinking it, although that too) he opened up and went off script and just served us his favorite wines which he clearly had a passion for. Grounds outside are beautiful too, imagine they have a great deal of fun events in that space in the summer.

First time amazing! Second time blah! Third times a charm! We came today for our third time and it convinced me to write a new review! Our first trip we had amazing service and a great experience from start to finish! That was even on a busy Sunday afternoon! So… we came back on a weekday and had a terrible experience due to the bartender! He was rude, condescending and just flat out a snob! Luckily we did not let him keep us from one more try! We came in today with an open mind and had an amazing time! Tried lots of reds, whites and everything in between! Our server today was Stephanie and she was on point! Not only was she nice, but fun, talkative and helpful! She didn’t tell me what I needed to drink, she made suggestions and was open to my random order of alcohol consumption! Lol! Thanks to her and Matt the amazing manager we will be back and I suggest you go! So why not a 5 star review? It’s hot as heck inside the bar/tasting area! They have wall a/c units everywhere, but they were not on! I’m not a fan of sweaty wine tasting! Lol! Otherwise this will be a repeat wine spot for us!

I’ve been wanting to go wine tasting in Temecula for awhile now. I love seeing vineyards everywhere and Temecula wineries are great to check out in Southern California. We were actually trying to go to another winery but saw Bel Vino and decided to go there instead. I walked up to the wine tasting room and asked the lady at the register, «what do we do?» I need somebody to walk me through the process since it was my first time to a Temecula winery. They have different lists to try. We opted for the premium wine tasting which was $ 19.95 per person. It was 6 one ounce pours. I thought the price was reasonable. They have cheaper wine options which were great deals as well but we wanted to try the premium award winning wines. She then walked us to a separate bar area. I liked it better since there was less people in that area. We were able to try their 2010 merlot, 2010 cabernet franc, 2010 tart, 2010 cabernet sauvignon, 2011 zinfandel, and the 98 zinfandel port. What I loved about this wine tasting experience is you can really taste the different flavors and spices that they talk about. Most of the time I have no idea what they are talking about with wine tasting but this time it was very distinct flavors and aromas that were easily noticeable. My favorite was definitely the 2010 Merlot. The flavor was amazing. I love the taste. The grounds are gorgeous. I love the vineyards. They were setting up for a wedding reception and it looks amazing to have a party here. Looks like they are renovating the building so I am excited to see what it will look like in the end. It’s definitely a great spot for wine tasting if you are in the area and on a budget.

I came here with a few friends hoping to have a good time. Being from Temecula, I usually go to the bigger much nicer wineries but decided to give this one a try. Upon walking in I was a bit disappointed that it was so small, but I wasn’t going to let that spoil me from having a good time. After a few tastes one of the managers or owners, I’m not sure, accused my friend of having stole tasting tokens? Simply not true and frankly, very offensive. We decided this place was a bust and continued to Wilson creek Do yourself a favor and visit Wilson Creek, South Coast, Lorimar, or Leonesse Cellars. Cheers !!

This was 1 of 2 wineries that honored the 2 for 1 tasting coupon on a holiday from We stopped by for a 2 for 1 tasting on Memorial Day 2015. Each tasting had 6 one ounce pours. Thanks to the coupon, we were able to taste the white wines and the red wines on the signature tasting menu. The white wines got progressively sweeter and one that stood out to me was the Riesling. That one was my favorite. We didn’t really find any of the reds that fascinating. We didn’t end up purchasing any bottles from here. We paid $ 12.95 for the 2 tastings thanks to the coupon. Not a bad deal.

Bel Vino was our first stop for our day in Temecula. They are so nice, they have a golf cart type tram that picks you up at your car, and takes you up the hill to the winery. Large grassy area, with lots of tables, chairs and a stage. The day we went, they had a singer/guitarist performing soft rock hits. He was really good. Unfortunately, also the day we went, there was no restaurant. They were making BBQ food and taking orders from a stand. For what we paid, we did not think it was enough food for the price. Inside for the wine tasting, it was reasonably priced. We have a fun bartender who was very nice and talkative as she poured our wine. I can’t wait to go back when their restaurant is done.

I first heard about his place through a horseback riding tour that I did in Temecula. I asked for good winery and this one was on their list. As we arrive I couldn’t help but to notice my beautiful surroundings. Everything was so green and fresh. From the moment that we arrived we were greetded nicely by everyone. They also had a variety of wine selections. Not to mention Great Prices! They even threw in some free extra wine samples. The atmosphere is perfect for the family or couples. I also noticed that they had a live band outside and seating areas so you can order food or wine. I didn’t try their food but it looked very good. The tastings could be done inside or out. I had a wonderful time and I will be back for sure to try their food. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Went on a private winery tour with Matthew last Sunday and had a blast. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We got a fantastic cheese, meats, and crudités platter with our tasting. Matthew explained about each grape varietal and each wine he poured. Also got to choose a bottle to take home. All in all, a lovely afternoon. Definitely recommend. We’ve also been wine tasting here on other occasions and it’s always a good time, from the fun atmosphere inside and friendly staff, to enjoying the grounds and live music on weekends.

I came here with a friend after having made a reservation for our private tour & tasting which we purchased on Groupon. We arrived on time for our reservation, but since the group ahead of us had arrived late, our tour ended up starting about 20 minutes later than scheduled. They let us grab a few tastings at the bar while we were waiting, which was nice, but then I realized that we were gypped of the actual tour around the winery as there wasn’t enough time and we didn’t get to ride around in the golf cart at all(we literally stepped about 5 feet out of the building, and that was the furthest we got). Also, during the last few tastings with our meat & cheese plate, I felt VERY rushed and I could tell that our tour guide was hurrying to wrap up our tour as the group behind us was now running late. I was a little annoyed about how unprofessional the whole tour situation was, but the wines and tastings themselves were great. I enjoyed most of their reds(plus the extras that they let us taste as we were waiting). And their cheese, meat, and fruit selections that they paired with the wines were really fresh and tasty as well. If it hadn’t been for the whole tour fiasco, I definitely would’ve rated this place higher. But I just couldn’t let slide the very rushed feeling that I had the entire time we were there, plus not getting the full tour; I don’t think I’ve ever felt so flustered during a wine tasting before, and I don’t hope to ever again.

If you love to go to a winery and learn all about amazing new wines and be entertained from a very knowledgeable bartender then Bel Vino is the place for you. I loved everything about this winer. Believe it or not I went in being a notorious red wine lover, but I left reborn a white wine lover. We did our homework before coming to Bel Vino and we knew exactly which wines we wanted to taste. Being that they are known for their reds, the Cab and Syrah were both high on the list. We also printed a 2 – 1 coupon, so we ended up paying $ 12.50 per couple. That fee is enough for 6 tastings, although our bartender was really not counting,(at least I don’t think he did) being that we probably tasted about 7 or 8 wines each. Our bartenders’ name was Seth and he was very knowledgeable, he explained everything to us, and his suggestions were based on what each of us liked or did not like, he was amazing. So here are my favorites. REDWINE: 1. 2010 Cabernet Savignon– To die for, full body, full flavor yet very smooth and silky. 2. Syrah– Spicy, plays with your palate, yet leaves you wanting more. 3. Merlot-deep color, aromatic and full body. WHITEWINE: 1. 2013 Viognier– MUSTHAVE, you will not be disappointed, crisp, fresh, aromatic and not too acidic. 2. Savignon Blanc– cripsy, fresh and more acidic than Viognier but not as creamy as Chardonnay. 3. White Merlot– sweet and crispy, loved it a nice little sugary surprise. I cannot wait to go back to this winery, I totally recommend it to anyone in the area, you will not be disappointed. You will love the beautiful view, the romantic ambiance, and above all the amazing treatment, couple that with great wine and you will feel like you just hit the jackpot. Cheers.

Love their red wines, we have been members for about 8 years, back when this place was called Stuart Cellars. The previous owners had some great wines. New owners have good wines as well and often discount prices for club members and visitors. If you like BIG Reds this is the place in Temecula for you. The only thing I do not like is the TVs, it gives the winery a club like atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the wines. Great experience every time when you go there.
