My son has been attending ATA Elite Martal Arts since Feb of 2014. My son started when he was 8. The class availability is superior and the contract or lack thereof is fair in contrast to other martial arts/karate contracts I have had experience with in the past. Mr. Brown is dedicated to the success of his students and their mastery and enjoyment of Martial Arts. Mr. Brown lives and breathes ATA and his attention to the kids and the adults needs is unparalleled. Mr. Brown is doing what he was meant to do. My son started ATA with low self esteem and confidence and we decided to sign him up because he was started to be bullied. My son’s teacher was claiming that he wasn’t paying attention and he was not showing the level of independence that the teacher expected for his age. Mr. Brown listened to our concerns and immediately his teachings and guidance begin to make a difference in our sons life. Fast-forward to now, our son is getting straight A’s, his confidence is soaring, he is in the leadership division of ATA and is really taping into his strengths and learning how to make them work in social settings and is being taught the value and necessity of respecting adults and teachers even when you don’t like what is being taught or said. Our son is no longer being bullied, furthermore he knows how to deal with bullies and knows how to spot individuals that he wants to be around and how to spot people that are not worth his time. We are not raising a follower, we are raising a leader and that is in no small part due to Mr. Browns teachings. ATA is an investment, it is not inexpensive, every month it seems they are asking us for more money; but when your son goes from the level of confidence our son used to have to now aspiring to be class president with the attitude that if at first he doesn’t succeed he will try again, as parents you believe that is priceless!
