I was absolutely ecstatic when I found a list of apple orchards not terribly too far from our place. This one stuck out to me mainly from the website but when we got there, I was a little disappointed because I expected more of a cider mill. I was absolutely spoiled in Michigan! Any who, the road you have to turn on can easily be missed, so if you get cell phone reception, make sure you have your GPS guiding you. You will pass by another small apple picking orchard before you arrive to your destination. This is a great place for little kids to run around, which there were and a few tables to enjoy apple cider and some baked goods. There’s a small tin shed where you’ll find apple butter, Apple syrup, pumpkin bread with walnuts, Apple cake, fruit rolls, dried apples, apple cider, and a couple of other baked goods. The cider was pretty good(not too sweet or tart) but pretty steep. $ 13 for a gallon and it also comes in half a gallon and individual carton.(sorry forgot to take a pic of the prices) we obviously got the gallon, because it’s rare to find good pressed cider near the desert. The pumpkin bread was okay. I didn’t taste the pumpkin, but the bread was moist and great for a snack. We didn’t get there till 2-ish, and unfortunately the dried apples were sold out. This place doesn’t give you the option for Apple picking, but they do offer a half gallon bag of apples. Not really sure what type of apples they were or how much, but they looked pretty good.
