OMG I lovvvvveeee this place, every time I eat here I am blown away. everything i ever had on their menu was good but I do recommend to go for the salads and the popcorn chicken. sandwiches are large, filling, and full of flavor. Oh and you gotta try the mushrooms… Basically I am hooked :)) One of my favorite spots. the only thing is that you gotta call ahead because they do get busy during rush hours. But I guess that is the case with any good restaurant.

sandwiches are amazing ! But I would recommend to go for half a sandwich and explore their other dishes: such as the popcorn chicken, wings, wings, and wings — you gotta try the wings. and whatever you go for add their BBQ sauce, delicious.

I love love LOVE this place. Good vibes, good crowd, awesome food. Even though I moved to the city I still come here often. There’s a fun and cozy feeling to the place, I don’t know if it’s family owned but everyone working there is really close and seems to know their customers really well. Since I started coming here, I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu but here’s my faves: Walla Perfect sandwich(with rosemary chicken), popcorn chicken with garlic mayo, spicy wings, sweet potato fries, and grilled chicken salad. Oh yeah… kumbaslow sauce on everything, anything, anytime, anywhere. There’s a delicious spicy sauce called Estrada and I put it on the wraps which are HUGE by the way. This year was the first time I put in a huge order for my superbowl party and everything was killer, even my non-jewish friends were impressed. Much better than other places I’ve ordered from because everything in the order was fresh and still hot by the time I picked it up, pretty much ready to serve when I brought it home to the hungry boys. I attended a Bar-Mitzvah once where Chickies catered and the food was also really fresh and warm, so I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. Yeah, what more can I say… just go there and you’ll for sure go back for more. They all do :)

Picked up an order and everything was wrong. Left a message for NIR and sent an email to Melanie. Neither owner could be bothered to get back to me. I will be placing my future orders at the Doghouse or Dougie’s.

I came when it wasn’t busy and my sandwich was made in 10 minutes. Sandwich was good but real messy lol.

Ordered ahead. Got there in 25 minutes. My order wasn’t ready yet. I waited another 20 minutes in the restuarant. When I noticed people behind me getting my order, I asked where mine was. It was sitting on the shelf. It would be nice if they called out the order number or the name on the order so people don’t have to wait. Food was good though.

Just visited this store again… Food is still really good, but wait time for 2 simple sandwiches were over 40 minutes!!! (I don’t know why I’m being so generous with 3 stars this time around)

Can’t complain about the food(besides basic uncleanliness), but I must say their service is absolutely awful. Their staff lied to me about their prices and were generally rude to me. They gave us an obscene minimum order for delivery and we managed to fill it, but they then added on an even more obscene delivery charge that they did not tell us about at first. If you don’t want to make a delivery that is fine, but don’t lie to us.

The Ian Beat Box, by far the most unbelievable sandwich on the menu. Literally AMAZING! Get it with Kumbaslow sauce, you won’t regret!

Not much to say really that hasn’t already been said. Just really good fast food for fair prices. The prices are slightly high compared to other places, but the massive portions on almost everything make it more than worth the price. Everything tastes great, and that’s why they have the reputation they do. If only they had more sauces that weren’t mayo-based. Seems like more than half of them are, and often some of the others are out. The spicy options could also be a bit spicier. Test our kishkes, guys!

We ordered from Chickies for a business lunch, and gave extra time for the pickup as they have run behind previously. When my coworker arrived for the pickup, he was told they were«backed up». 40 minutes later he finally left with our food. The staff didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience– not even a drink while he waited! When he finally arrived and our meeting began, the order was incorrect. There was no labeling on the items to know what was what. The sauces were incorrect. The amount if chicken on each sandwich was laughable. The whole experience was just a clusterF. And since this wasn’t the first time, I highly doubt anyone actually cares.

I very rarely give poor reviews, but I feel a need to. I walked in an ordered a sandwich and 8 wings, took about half an hour to get my food. I ordered fried onions on my sandwich, at extra cost. The guy making my sandwich told me they ran out of onions but I was not offered a substitution. The wings… very disappointing. Their«hottest» wings, were mild at best, or perhaps they gave me the wrong kind, either way, not spicy; and they were the smallest wings I have ever gotten from a restaurant. These factors aside, the sandwich was actually pretty good, but overall, a poor eating experience and I won’t be going back.

I like this place a lot. In my opinion, best bang for your buck at a kosher establishment. I always order the wings. They are always crispy and fresh. Any variety is good, although I have come to like the plain fried. They have an endless amount of sauce to dip them in. I always go with the sandwich with the Italian spices. Always hot, fresh and huge. Sauces to try: onion bloom, garlic mayo, and kumbaslow. You may find yourself in the middle of a loud, rowdy, high school crowd if you go in on a Saturday night, but I can’t fault the restaurant for that. You will leave stuffed and satisfied no matter what you order.

Chikies is the place to go when you want a taste meal at late hours. Their sandwiches always fresh and made to order and there sauces are to die for. Recently they introduced there spicy mango and spicy watermelon that just hits the spot. All sauces are made in house and are worked on for weeks untill released. I would recomend for your first time getting a half sandwich with a bunch of dipping sauces along with regular poppers. Once you find the sauce/s you enjoy get whatever you want it’s hard to go wrong at chikies. One of my personal favorite is the beatboxed chicken I can never get enough of their barbecue sauce so I fined that that helps curb my craving. If you are in Monsey I would recomend giving them a try as they are a little bigger and will soon offer a drive through which is convenient.

Been coming here ever since it has opened. They lose a star for slow service during busy hours and for the higher than average price, but the food is to die for. My favorite sandwich to order is the Beat Box Captain Munch. It’s an extra crunchy fried chicken cutlet smothered in a tangy BBQ sauce. REALLYGOOD. Also if you ever order one of their multitude of finger snacks, be sure to pair it with their kumbaslow sauce. I think I spelled that correctly… Don’t miss out on a great chicken sandwich just because of the $ 10+ price tag. It’s huge and delicious!

People who complain about this place know nothing about the kosher restaurant market. NOTHING. The prices are high because of kosher standards. The service can be slow because people create extremely difficult orders with substitutions when they know that there is a line of people waiting to be served. But, if you take this into consideration Chickies is a great place to eat. For lunch, late night, and dinner. They have healthy food for when you don’t feel like fried chicken, and they can always grill your order for you. Favorite Chickies order: 3 Chickwhiches 3 sliders covered in kumbaslow sauce. and a side order of mexican popcorn chicken. I love their sauces!!! you can’t get them anywhere else, which is what keeps drawing people back. And as much as people complain about service with this place, its not that bad. Its small, delicious, and you should always CALLAHEAD!

I was excited to try Chickies, but then, after ordering successfully online, them forgetting one of my sauces, and actually eating the food … I got sick. I was ill, the entire afternoon, the evening, and then some. I don’t know what it was, but it was the food. Buyer beware.
