I stopped in here on a whim & I’m so glad I did. The gentlemen was such a sweet man. The Spanikopita is delicious & it’s a generous portion filled with spinach and cheese. I can’t wait to have my baklava with coffee in the am.

Best chocolate chocolate cake ever!!! Had it the first time at Tracy’s in Little Ferry (not open anymore) and just had to ask where I could get this cake and that is how I found Athens Bakery.
Don’t pass it up… And I don’t know about anything else in the bakery as I go out of my way to order this cake for special occasions!

A gem in Teaneck with fresh baked Greek pastries such as spanakopia and baklava. I have never been to Greece, but I have been to Turkey and other countries that have these types of pastries, as well as a ton of New York City Greek bakeries, and Athens Bakery is as excellent as the best of them. Everything is delicious! I’m not in Teaneck often, but if I’m near by and Athens is open, I go there.
And cheap too!
