So i gave this place 5 stars because for this area this place is the best hands down. I grew up in southern California and i really only miss Mexican food, the beach, and The Dodgers. This place almost makes me not miss home.

I did like Las Meras Tortas until my husband and I had an awful service problem the last time we went. I will start by saying my husband has spent over 13 years living in the heart of rural Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. This used to be his go to spot until they over charged us by 10 $. Not knowing he spoke Spanish, they proceeded to bitch and make fun of him in Spanish, not aware that he is fluent. When he confronted them in English, they just said the price is the price. So we will never ever return. DOYOURSELF A SERIOUSFAVOUR: Try La Reata instead and give your custom to a restaurant who actually cares about its food and customers.

The food was well portioned for the price. The salsa bar was bigger than most I’ve seen with quite the variety. The restaurant was very clean. The food was good, though the meat could have been seasoned better or used a bit more flavor. It wasn’t bland or anything, but it was the only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars.

Without a doubt, the best Mexican food outside of Mexico. Fresh, all natural ingredients expertly prepared. Awesome flan, Mexican coke complete the perfection. Will be back!

This place is amazing. I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican and Latin American foods and this place is legit. Not only that but they are extremely kind and helpful in navigating their menu. I would definitely stop by again next time I visit the Greenville area!

Excellent! Authentic and very good. I had a pastor Torta and it was the best I’ve had in 10 years when at a little place in South Texas. I’ll be in this area for a month and plan on visiting several more times before I leave.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The staff is so friendly. The tortas are the best & they are so big. One torta is really enough for two! Everything is fresh and the salsa bar is really yummy. If you haven’t been here you’re missing out! Las Meras is a gem.

My review is probably a little weird because I didn’t have tortas, but the tacos were outstanding and the service was great as well.

Oh. My. Word!!! We found this place thanks to Unilocal. It definitely lived up to the level of stars it was receiving. I was blown away by the taste of everything. It was sooooo good. You can tell the food is made and prepared fresh. The salsa bar was equally impressive. So much variety here. And the place was super clean and kept up. Whoever owns this place takes great pride in the food, presentation and atmosphere. I will definitely return and spread the word!!!

Wow!!! Moved here from Chicago, Il., about 7 mo. ago and thought we would never find a good authentic Mexican torta like we had back home. LMT proved me wrong! Don’t let the exterior/interior fool you! This place is legit! Try it you won’t regret it!!!

We came back for a second try and it was as good as last time. The owner even remembered us. Can’t wait to come back again.

A huge fan of LMT! The best mex you can find in Greenville County. Owned by the same folks at LMT on White Horse Road. Those big tortas, huge yet cheap burritos… I usually get the cali with al pastor. Mexican coke and aguas frescas to wash it down? Mexican cake to finish it off. Do it!

So far five stars. Chips are good slightly salty. Salsa bar is tasty and fresh. Burrito with chicken avocado cilantro and cheese. The hot sauce is hot and the avocado jalapeño salsa was very tasty.

Moving through time and space! I was suddenly transported to Southern California on a hot summer day years ago! Outstanding. This is as real as it gets! I will return.

Definitely one of our favorite restaurants locally! The flautas are awesome! Actually everything is awesome. These are REAL tacos, not gringo food. No bright orange cheese, queso fresco. No bottles of Tabasco, just a fresh salsa bar that is self service. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Jarritos is the best soda you’ll ever try! Get the grapefruit or orange. Make sure you get there early, they close promptly at 8, and if you get there to close to closing time — they’ll almost surely pack your order to go ;)

«O torta, mi torta — Tu sabor me importa.» GREERTRANSLATION: «Oh sammich, my sammich — your flavor matters to me. First, let me stipulate that this review is strictly limited to the particulars of the tortas(aka big ol’ sammiches) served at Las Meras. I have no first-hand account of any of their other menu items, and I probably never will considering said tortas and their epic deliciousness. If you’re a fan of Mexican food and/or subs, do yourself a solid and get friendly with a torta at Las Meras TODAY. I’ve had tortas at other establishments, but the Mexicano torta here blew me away. It’s a big, yeasty, lightly mayoed roll piled high with juicy, slow-cooked carne asada steak, sliced deli ham, avocados, lettuce & tomato, pineapple, and big slabs of queso Oaxaca. Textures, flavors, and temperatures of the ingredients interplay beautifully on the ol’ lengua. Couple that with a simple, no-frills dining room that offers a view of a cheesy telenovela(aka Spanish soap opera) at both ends and a friendly, English-speaking staff, and you’ve got yourself an excellent, feel-good, just-exotic-enough lunch destination. I have heard that the Las Meras location in Berea is equally if not more spectacular, but that remains to be seen. If you live in Greer or Taylors, you owe it to your taste buds to make a stop at Las Meras — there’s a torta waiting with your name on it. Salud!
