Victoria’s Secret

The last time I walked into VS, I was greeted by a cloud of overpriced body spray and 18 year old girls, who had obviously never had the challenging task of wrangling DDD boobs into a bra. So, I was less than optimistic walking into this place today, but I just needed to be sized, so I gave it a shot.
1. First thing is first — the store has moved. It is now where Forever 21 was, right down the hall from Best Buy.
2. The fragrance/​PINK section is in their old store… so instead of walking into vanilla, apple cider, lime musk, you walk into… nada! So, so much better.
Anyways, I was instantly greeted, told the girl I needed to be sized, and she told me Rachel would be sizing me. Rachel walks up and she’s a young girl, pretty much what I expected, but… she wasn’t. Rachel was all smiles and this girl knew what the hell she was doing. The sizing experience has changed here; they walk you back into a dressing room, measure you, then you try on whatever bras they give you, let the consultant come into your fitting room, check out how the bra fits you (you’re shirtless, btw), and change it out if needed. I actually like this experience SO much better than the old, «here’s your number, good luck!» routine.
Rachel was awesome… so, so awesome. She jumped right in, made me feel comfortable (which is hard to do after a year of breastfeeding and being pregnant when it comes to body image…), and I was impressed. She explained what I needed for my body type; from cup to strap type, and offered to readjust any bra I purchased before I left so that it’d be ready to throw on. She didn’t pressure me to buy any bras, but let me know which ones would be best for me, and handed me a card with all of the information she had given me, including my size. It was about a 10 minute process.
Now, I didn’t buy a bra because they were $ 52 in store and I can easily get them for much cheaper on their site or at the outlet, but I had a great experience. I’ll probably only get sized at this VS from now on.

I’m not a fan of this particular VS store. I actually got into it with one of the workers and ended up telling the boss she was a bitch as I was checking out. For real now, when I asked her a question, she rolled her eyes, set her stuff down that she was stocking, and walked away and didn’t say –anything-​.
Overall, I love victoria’s secret! I order from their catalog or website more than from in store. Women love feeling sexy in lingerie… and some women like receiving it from their partner. Although, not speaking for all, since some feel it’s too personal of a choice — and don’t want to feel uncomfortable in the items.
A lil pricey, yet I still keeping buying… hmmm… addiction? The sale catalogs are the devil in disguise! I like their clothing too – and the PINK division is super comfy & cute!
Ladies… go out today and make a lil purchase and SPICE it up! Keep it interesting! And keep him coming back for more!!! *wink*
