This is one of my go to places. I get a variety of things when I go here but one of the staple items is the cheeseburger. I know it sounds crazy since this is not a «burger place». I would also say the bread and cheese soup are a good pair as well. The deserts are pretty good as well. I would recommend the Sanders hot fudge puff.
All in all, this place is great the décor is not great but I go here for the food. The service is good and since I go here often I have made good friends with many of the waitresses. A few will even know what my preferences are.
Keep in mind that the menu changes with the seasons. I do enjoy that part of it as well.

Love going to Macy’s Lakeshore Grill with mom and sis monthly as we shop. usually we get the Maurice salad or quiche of day but today tried the Buttermilk Fried chicken salad. It was fresh and the dressing excellent. They were very stingy with chicken and bacon for the price. Service is always perfect and friendly. Comfy and quiet lunch where we can rest from shopping and talk. They were out of quiche. other good items from past visits are the hummus platter, bacon jam burger, cheese soup, Michigan cherry salad, and pot pie!!! desserts look excellent especially the huge sanders fudge Cream puff but we talk to much to even think about it

The food here is so good you will wonder why this place is hidden in the back of the third floor of Macy’s. We had a prime rib burger that actually tasted like I was eating steak. The menu has a very good selection of hearty classics like chicken pot pie and meatloaf. I can also highly recommend the pork snitzel that they have during Octoberfest. The staff is very friendly and the manager even came over to chat. He referred to it as the best kept secret downriver. It should be better known. The food and service is outstanding. If I had a complaint it was that they had no steak sauce for my burger and that the restrooms are located out in the store and you have to walk a distance to wash your hands. I am not going to knock a star off for that though.
