The service department is excellent! From all the service writers to the mechanics. AJ did a great job of switching out my handlebars even when there was a problem with too much chrome. He had to grind the bars down for the throttle control to work right. He kept me informed throughout the process. The bike turned out looking and working better than ever! I highly recommend the service department. Nicole and Marie are also wonderful in the motor clothes department! They are very knowledgeable and always willing to help! These two departments are the reason I keep going back to Biker Bob’s. After going to another Harley dealer to buy my bike, I returned to Biker Bob’s only to get an attitude from the general manager and others in sales. They could not match a deal from another dealer. I had purchased one of the maintenance plans on my first bike and had 2 services left, I was told I could not transfer the plan to my new bike and could not purchase a service plan from them because I did not buy my bike there. They offered it to people regardless of where they purchased their bike prior. Very poor customer service from the general manager, but I will return to Biker Bob’s because of the service received from AJ, Nicole and Marie, Tim and Dave(service writers) and Scotty(Head of H-D1 Fit Shop). I gave Biker Bob’s a 3 star rating because of the overall dealership. Individually, I would give the service department, clothing merchandise department, and the H-D1 Fit Shop a 5 star rating. I would give the general manager a 1 star rating. ***As you can see, the comment below from Amy G. Of Biker Bob’s shows how disrespectful their management team really is. Nothing was ever asked for free… only what was already paid for. The facts of cost being similar and the time taken is not correct. If you are going to bash someone for being disloyal, get your facts straight. I made a call to your dealer prior to buying my new bike with the quote given to me and your dealership could not match it. So I went elsewhere. At a $ 3,000 difference most people would do the same thing.

Love the store, love the sales team, the riding academy was fun, but they don’t offer a Veterans discount like Motor City does… When you are buying all authentic HD gear and maintenance supplies, that adds up to enough to make the extra drive to Motor City worth it.

Only giving one star cause I have to! If 0 stars was an option that’s what they would have got. Desperately tried to buy a bike there. Couldn’t get a straight answer on the price, no one would return my calls. When I went in I noticed the prices on their bikes are WAY over MSRP. Very, very shady place! Ended up buying my bike from Town and Country Harley in Irish Hills. GOTHERE! Great deal on the bike, tons of free«goodies», and a fantastic experience. Worth the drive if it’s not local to you.

I will say point blank that you absolutely cannot trust Biker Bob’s service department. I bought a brand new, 2013 Tri-Glide, complete with VIP Maintenance and a 7 year extended warranty. The VIP Maintenance agreement states very clearly that on my periodic maintenance schedule that there is a 48 hour guaranteed turn around. They have made that time only once since I bought it. On other maintenance that I have had done, you are looking at 2 weeks minimum for even the simplest of issues. Right now, the trike is in for its 12,500 mile maintenance inspection and servicing, with two minor issues, the battery in the FOB needs to be replaced, and the lock on the tour pack needs to be replaced. They have had the bike a week and a half already and today called me to inform me that it will be postponed yet another day. I wouldn’t be posting this if this was a one time anomaly, but this has been the standard treatment each time I have taken it in. I would not recommend Biker Bob to anyone.

Cool Harley-Davidson dealership! Lots of clothing, accessories, and a huge selection of Harley-Davidson motorcycles! Bought a couple of t-shirts and H-D poker chips. Staff was friendly and efficient!

Bought a brand spankin’ new 2014 Harley Sportster that had squeeky brakes. Dropped it off to have the brakes fixed since I put 550 miles on it and the squeek never went away. They had it for 7 full days and not once called me. I called the 7th day and they said«Duh we can’t get them to squeek». The brakes work fine, so what’s the problem? The problem is I don’t want squeeky brakes. I do NOT recommend this place at all for service. They have no idea what they are doing. If you want a good sales guy, then ask for Dominick.

I have to say, that when I was dating a biker, I would come here alot! I like the store for riding gear and fashion and they go out of their way to make women feel comfortable and not like«Back Rests», which is what my ex called me and why we are no longer together.

The sales staff is conniving and deceiving. I called Biker Bob’s about a ’12 Street Bob that was on their website. The salesman assured me that they had it in stock(he apparently physically located it). I drove about 45 minutes to purchase the bike and when I arrived it wasn’t ready to be purchased; it actually didn’t even exist. The salesman assured me that he could order one from Harley Davidson and have it ready for pickup in 4 days. I agreed to proceed with the purchase because he assured me he would«hook me up.» When I asked about forward controls and other accessories I planned on purchasing, the salesman called up the«consultant.» I casually mentioned getting the bike within the 4-day time frame and was immediately interrupter by the other gentleman who proclaimed they wouldn’t receive the bike for at least 7 business days. This was extremely aggravating. However, I proceeded with the purchase until I received the quote. The salesman wanted to charge me $ 500 for freight even though I went to buy a bike they told me they had in stock. Then he wanted to charge me $ 500 for denim black which is clearly marked on Harley-Davidson’s website at $ 385. Without tax, title, and license the bike was far above the MSRP(12,999) at over $ 15,000. I spoke my peace and left. I am getting a great deal from Motor City Harley Davidson. Steer clear of Biker Bob’s.
