Second time here, second time disappointment. Poor service the first time, order incompetence the second. I don’t know if it’s laziness or stupidity but the staff sucks here. Won’t be coming back.

They are over priced or under fooded. They Maryland crab cakes are from some third world country. The grouped tacos were minimum for whatever fish. They only decent thing was the bar tender.

Very attractive place however quality of food is up and down, its not at all consistent. As stated in an earlier review, you will find attitude with some servers. As a customer, I attribute this problem to management or ownership. Its very hit or miss as to what will be available to you on the menu as well. The beer and drinks seem to be the only thing you can rely on being the same. Would be nice to see ownership change, great location and idea for the area but its being run into the ground.

I stopped in for dinner because the restaurant was next door to my hotel. I really like how it is designed inside and out; definitely for good times. The menu choices were good and reasonably priced. I liked that there were so many chicken wing flavors to choose from. My wings tasted great and were perfectly cooked. Unfortunately my ribs were really dry and seemed as though they were reheated from lunch time. The onion rings were amazing and my server Jennifer was fantastic.

This is the 1^st time I have come here of many. Recommended this place to many many people. Eat here frequently. Ordered right away. After waiting over 40 minutes for our food. I am told it was because of a large party who came in after us. No 5 star today

Very cute place. Food was good and drinks were cold and inexpensive. Our server was very rude so thats the only reason for the 3 star. Hoping to go back and have better service.

I wasn’t too thrilled about the quality of the food.
Also the waitress kept trying to up sell the food which I understand but if I don’t want to upgrade my platter don’t treat me with less quality than you would to another table that spends more than me.
Besides that, the wings could have been better as well as the apps.
The atmosphere is great though! Brought my family and dog along

Our group went to Hurricane’s Dockside Grill over in Tavares Sunday 09/​27/​2015, My Brother and I had hot wings and Fries they were great my girl had a Burger she said it was the best burger she ever had. Take a look at the celery and carrots you get your $ 23.00 wing Sampler Platter, We got five 2 inch sticks when we asked to see the manager we were told he was too busy. I am not making this up. Our Server Stevi sympathized with us and brought us a few more sticks but assured us she had given us more than normal (look at the actual photo we took at our table.). now we are mad.
Later during our meal the kitchen manager comes to our table and says carrots and celery are a garnish. He came out to argue with us?! That’s about enough!
We didn’t want all this confrontation over our meal that We came here to enjoy
. There seemed to be no one in charge to appeal to. Where is the management at?
We are talking about 50 cents worth of vegetables to make your customer happy. Small price to pay for repeat business. Will we go back? Would you???

I really wish the service was better at this place. Stopped in for a drink around 4 one afternoon and everything was super slow. Not a lot of customers at the time so there wasn’t really an excuse. The waitress who served us drinks said someone else would be over to take our food order but no one came. Luckily we just wanted the two drinks so we just paid and left. It has a cool vibe since its on the waterfront but service just didn’t seem to care.

Wish there was a 0 star. Went once before and ate out on the water and loved it. Service was good and the food was decent. Went back and service was slow which is understandable on a Friday night. But the food was horrible. I had the mahi tacos. I ate one and it tasted fishy and off so I didn’t eat the second one. Well by the next day I was good and sick. 3 days later still running a fever and extremely sick to my stomach. I assumed the fish was bad but my doctor said he feels it’s a bacteria from a cook not washing their hands or properly handling the food. I did contact the restaurant and they said they’ve never had an issue but would look into it. Hoping and assuming this was a fluke.

No stars. My daughter and I were the only black folks and we did not get served. We waited for an awful long time while we watched people who came after us get served. I got up and left because I refuse to spend my money where I’m not welcomed.

Great place to go for a bite and beer or cocktail. The wings are plump and delicious they have over a dozen wing sauces to pick from. Indoor and outdoor sitting with views of lake and greenery. Pier with boat dock. You can sometimes see small alligators in the water. Really liked their summer time tropical dishes. 4 stars due to sticky tables and menu.

the reviews for this place were very mixed so we went in with some trepidation. We went at noon on a Friday for what it’s worth. I had chicken sliders and Parmesan fries, and sliders were fine, fries pretty good but kinda soggy. wife had shrimp skewers and marinated tomatoes, and was very happy, esp with tomatoes.
service was fine but then it was not busy.
if you’re looking for a fun, scenic place on the water with at least Ok food, this works just fine.

Had a decent meal. Staff was flustered as it was most likely the busiest day so far this season. But good meal. Could be cleaner.

Nice, laid back, sports bar’ish atmosphere on the water. We had wings & drinks for starters, the wings were great! Our main entrees were delivered in a timely manner & no complaints on the flavor. However, the amount of food for the price was disappointing. Our local friends say the place is jumping in the summer with a lot of boat in customers & live music.

If this place didn’t have the atmosphere it does (being on the water) it would CLOSE DOWN IMMEDIATELY. They are milking the heck out of this place.
Service wasn’t great. Our waitress was nice. When we saw her. She would always come back with a story. «The babysitter called» «this happened» blah blah blah.
Our food took FOREVER to come out. The menu is exactly like a million other chain restaurants. Bland. My boyfriend had the salmon you could get blackened or with another seasoning. It came out and looked and tasted like a boiled piece of salmon. Not a thing on it. Strange.
The menu alone was a turn off. The only bonus was sitting outside on the deck looking at the water (and spotting gators)

Prices are getting too high for what you get. They need to offer more bang for your buck. The last time I got the Mahi Tacos, they were gross, I sent them back. The burgers are still great, but overpriced. Today I got the quesadillas, four medium sized pieces for almost $ 10, with no sides at all. I would at least offer some rice or the ultra cheap refried beans to attempt making it appear to be a little bit of a value. Our server was useless today also, he forgot half the things we ask for, and seldom came around to check on us.
