Much better Michaels store.
Updated throughout January — July 2015. Store is organized, HUGE clearance section (every other Michaels doesn’t NEARLY have as much), store is large, and employees are always helpful, friendly, and easy to find. Overall, much better experience.

This is not only the WORST Michael’s I have ever visited, but the worst craft store of all time!!! EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING rings up wrong at this store. I recently came here to purchase two baskets for an upcoming party, and both baskets were priced 5.99 and rang up 6.99 not to mention they were supposed to be 40% off! I’ll stop babbling now, but this does happen everytime!
The staff is rude, and not helpful at all. They actually seem bothered when you ask them a question. I can not even sum up all the negatives that go along with shopping at this location. Do yourself a favor, and drive the five minutes to Jo Ann Fabrics, they have ALL of your crafting needs.
Stay away, you’ve been warned ;)

As much as I love cake decorating, scrapbooking and all that fun stuff in between. I have no idea why the employees are always so grouchy especially if your 40% off coupon isn’t scanning through, then you better watch out! But I refuse to buy anything without a coupon there. Which then becomes tedious because its a one coupon per person, per visit. So I either have to bring the whole family or make multiple trips. However I did take my second cake decorating class here and it is a nice touch that they give you the instruction book for free where you have to pay at AC Moore. I visit at least once a week because they are always getting new things in.

I used to work here. The employees are nice for the most part. The best time is to go before 5pm, I feel. They have deals every week. Some things are more expensive than others. If you want to do scrap booking then that will be very expensive. All the stores are set up the same for the most part, so you know how to get around.
