If you are a tourist and just want to grocery shop, I would suggest going to some other store. if you go to the self checkout, you have to have a Winn Dixie card, or it won’t let you do anything

Ok. I’m surprised. I haven’t been in a Winn Dixie for years, because the last time I was, they were crappy.
This Winn Dixie is a former Kash N’Karry so they’re large, with a good lay out. A huge produce section and bakery all at the front of the store. Since it was my first time in, I wasn’t used to the lay out but I found exactly what I wanted pretty easily.
Check out was a breeze and the cashier was really very friendly. I did notice that their prices were higher than Publix on MANY items. And honestly, that surprised me.

Winn Dixie has a great selection of groceries in a spacious setting. This newer store seems to have more space than the previous one nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also love the gas perks. It never hurts to save.

I give Winn Dixie 3 stars because quite often they’re out of what I’m looking for or they just don’t carry it because their stores are so small. Their cashiers seem to always be polite and friendly so that’s nice. Also, I’ve noticed that their prices seem to be much higher than other stores in the area.
It’s a good store if you need something last minute.
